Pallet stacker anyone ? My support count is slowed right down, I'm getting worried as I have written if this doesn't make at least the 100 supporters in 60 days then that's it for me on Ideas for good. Brick On anyway.

Now it's the little things that are sometimes the best. This is just so awesome it's not funny, so perfect in scale and features. My hat is off to you 'Pakita', Brick On !

Buy the PR first, then the BB. I actually prefer the BB, but it's not a complete street without the PR plus also it will more likely be retired before the BB and the way prices on Modulars go after retirement - yeah, good luck with that !

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion
lightningtiger replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Now has anyone worked out who the retro spaceman is mean't to be ? Clue anyone ? Flash Gordon and perhaps Buck Rogers as well, though the flash symbol on the torso is a dead give away. Plus the ray gun looks totally retro 1930's sci-fi so too the helmet......mmm, sounds like I might be doing my first real sci-fi MOCing later in the year ! .- 1,421 replies

Well, I'm impressed and sold on it too. Remember it's a Disney product so it's mean't to be for the kids . -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion

Many useful ones for city users, a female pastry chef, a surfer dude, pretty butterfly girl, the gym girl and weightlifting dude. Though equaling the awesomeness is the female vet and Frenchman with a new dog ! I'm happy now I stayed up late to see it.- 1,421 replies

Thank you for your kind words 'Zork'. Now it might be a week or so before I can take fresh photos as I'm going on a short break interstate next week. But as I usually add, keep watching. Brick On !

I've got bad feeling about this design being on Ideas, it is stuck on 36 supporters for many hours. Plus Ideas activity feed and commenting sections are all screwed up, I hope they fix them. I need 64 more supporters to gain a year to get to a 1000, yeah right as if but I'm willing to give it go. Except if this fails to reach a 100 in 60 days, then that's it for me on Ideas - no new projects anymore for Ideas. I'm tired of it and it's becoming less fun.

Thank you very much, it has a 35 supporter count at the moment. Thank you for your comments. Now those water pumps are based on Davey branded water pumps. As too what there sit on as well is my take on a Davey display stand.

Really cool modular design, the exterior has a bit of a art deco theme running through it and the interiors are wonderful. Brick On 'lookl' !

Again thank you everyone for commenting, I dig that you all love the large window frontage. The forklift is still under development as I want it to operation full turning while in an eight wide space, thanks 'dr_spock' for your suggestion and I have found a swing reach version which is for such problem areas as narrow spaces. Now 'gotoAndlego', heads really ? LOL They are part of the water pumps on display and on a pallet in the rack. Today, I'll take those extra photos for you all to look at and as I write this the support count on Ideas sits at 22 (only 78 to reach 100 supporters). Brick On everyone ! Thank you for your kind words, I can only hope and pray that it gains support on Ideas and it gets me into the prizes at the Lego show at Easter time.

Now that is one awesome yet wild and crazy place ! The museum is the high point of it, I dig the scale of it - very realistic and I dig realism in modulars. Keep up the awesome work and Brick On 'carebear' !

Thank you my old friend, always great to hear from you. The main reason for the glass wall look is so that kid's at the Lego show at Easter time can see inside. Brick On !

Thank you everyone who has commented so far, now a request for more photos of the smaller builds.....sure give me 24 hours and I'll have some up for you fingers crossed. Now a fork lift is in the works, but it will be for the add-on cold stores next door which shares it with the "rt" warehouse. Also I think I just answered someones request for a warehouse, will that cold storage warehouse do ? You make ask why a cold stores next door to this, well the local farmers need to store their apples and stone fruits somewhere before shipping off to market. Keep watching for the cold stores and also photo updates on this project. Brick On everyone !

I dig the run down look of the place, it's on the bad side of town is it ? Excellent work on the exterior, though is there an interior ? Brick On 'Fenom' !

Now for my latest hardware store and this one beats all my others hands down. "rt' stands for Rural Traders, a boring name so I call it "rt" The huge glass frontage allows everyone to see all the detailing, and yes it has a roof - a rare thing to come from my drawing board. The pump display gets another outing, but the racking is all new plus the hardware and irrigation merchandisers are also new. The chain saw display contains a fresh saw design - more realistic offset chain drive than the inline city style chain saws. On display also is a red ATV with roll-cage and chunky balloon tyres. Both the chain saw and ATV branding comes under the CITY banner. The irrigation brand is called Rain Brick, based on the real life brand Rain Bird. Garmadon is the brand for fencing and gate hardware, it's real life brand is Gallagher fencing products. Yes, I know and that's why I dropped the Lord bit off Garmadon ;) The chemical department has two products on display in bulk, Muster herbicide (weed killer) based on the brand name Round Up and Brick Chemicals Terrashield soil insecticide based on a Bayor product called Confidor Guard. You can see it's one of my largest builds in a long time, even bigger than my last modular in both build and detailing. Feel free to comment, oh yeah it will hopefully be up on Lego Ideas soon fingers crossed. Thanks for reading everyone and Brick On !

Hmm, I wonder 60 years of town next year and ten years in 2018 since town plan was released......just thinking out loud. Now is there anything Lego could of done to make Fun At The Beach better than it is ? How about a better volleyball net and an actual ice cream vendor ?
-
First, where is a tiger in the jungle sub-theme ? This tiger is not happy, so total pass on the jungle sub-theme for me. The best of the city sets is the bus station, looks tidy, well detailed, though in the minifigs a bit of a throw back to last years "Fun In The Park" minifigs. The cargo terminal is the next best with it's variety of different cargo including what appears to be a ride on lawn mower in lime green but the truck looks a tad late 2000's throw also. Funny, I get the feeling the coast guard sets are half new, half re-hashed from 2008 especially the giant helicopter. Though I'm digging the new coast guard ATV looks like something off Bondi Rescue. Now for Fun At The Beach, I feel some of it was just tossed together and I'm only buying it for the minifigs I'm afraid like it's going to take me two minutes to build everything else ! LOL We can only hope at LegoWorld in February that the city design team have some Easter Eggs for us in the display like they normally do.......fingers crossed for more buildings. And at least we have Assembly Square this year eh ?
-
Okay, so it's a real rough looking box art wow they didn't have everything done before the photography eh ? LOL I hope will the NYTF in a few weeks we get to see all the set in their full glory.
-
Oh, the tiger reads ..... one tiger SOLD, I have to buy that set at least ! And what crooks stealing gold, well LEGO will need Jungle Police sets next ?
