I did see a blue Hero there, but XL? He/she looked a bit too like a generic repaint- all player characters seem to be built upon that (Breez-inspired?) frame. I too spotted a Plasma Gun- I actually hope it returns in Summer. They finally made the perfect shooter (multipiece, customizable, available in multiple colours and actually looks like a gun!), just to use it for one year? And that sure looks like the Gangnam dance From this and Breakout we can gather Heroes love their victory dances.. I'm waiting for the yearly low quality video reviews now. EDIT: I watched the video again, the blue Hero looks kinda unique. The blue+tr neon green is exactly what I'd except from Surge.. The helmet of the playable character looks nohing like that of the other Heroes. It looks a lot like Black Phantom's actually. BTW, you're welcome Aanchir. Go home Rocka, you're drunk.

Excellent work! If you don't mind, I used the same method to get the HF pics, which I posted in the topic. I must say the Eagle vehicles look cooler every time I see better pictures of them. I'm tempted to get Eris's Eagle Interceptor... The Eagle Queen looks awesome.

HF ones are up too! Would anyone who knows..how the new cache system works get them? I can get the main ones by typing the set number in, but what about the secondary pictures? Nevermind, I got how the URLs work thanks to the LoC pics Aanchir posted in Action Themes. Nothing new..I'll link to them in the HF 2013 thread anyway.

I don't think Eris's axe head is going to be very hard to do. It's actually quite simplistic compared to weapons like, say, the Hex Shield. That being said, if they do make her axe. Cragger's and Laval's weapons are very loosely based off the new swords they wield.

Yeah, I agree on that. I don't wear any piercings, but I consider them pretty cool. Razcal, the Raven in the small set, has 4-5 rings on his face too. I'd like a good guy with piercings, maybe an Eagle or a Gorilla...

Second wave? Don't forget we have 4 more sets to see There are 6 sets, one for each animal clan. Hopefully Razar is going to bring new lilac parts to the table. And I hope Eris is azure for no reason, because azure.

The problem is, Ninjago and HF really aren't connected eachother. Ninjago is 2011-2013's "System" Action Theme while HF is 2010-201?'s constraction theme. Two different types of products, two different types of tragets. If anything, LoC is Ninjago's replacement, and if HF gets axed it will be (probably) replaced by a new constraction theme. I don't know if the LoC action figures are said replacment, but I'm somewhat doubtful as these sets have a whole different feeling than the usual sci-fi flavour of constraction figures (HF, Bionicle, Slizers, Roboriders). Of course this is a weak argument, but I'm just guessing.

I don't see any orange on Laval (the minifigs don't use it either)- I think it's just the weird lightning that makes the gold look like that. I agree these look a bit more complex than the standard 13 Euro HF figure, especially Cragger. I wouldn't be surprised if they are 15 Euro sets like the Ultrabuild sets (except with a much better price per piece ratio since LoC isn't licensed). "Wah, I'm mad because Lego ended a theme I liked while a completely unrelated theme I don't like is outliving it!"Please tell me I'm getting your post wrong and you're not using that logic. I except a higher level of maturity out of a EB member.

So many cool pieces, let's see what I can find: Laval- new brown "fur" pieces, gold Superhero chestplate (printed with a Chima crystal pattern as I predicted), new weapon/handle connector in gold, gold 2.0 shoulder armour, trans blue Rocka swords and, at last, freaking trans blue cladding (I'm sure we'll see this again in Summer HF). Cragger- lime Piraka feet, lime "lower arm" bone, Savage Planet scale armour in red, dark green 2.0 shoulder armour, dark green Ben 10 giant horn/tail piece, a probably new armour piece on the back and a new massive blade piece (I can see these two reappearing in Summer HF as well). The figures themselves are quite nice, I'm surprised how..reptlian they managed to make Cragger look. I wish his lower limbs were armoured, otherwise he's pretty much how I think a humanoid crocodile should be. I was excepting them to be more humanoid like the minifigs, but they look quite bestial- this is far from a bad thing mind you. I'm even more anxious to see the birds now!

I'll be honest, I know of Paintball only thanks to a Malcolm in the Middle episode It's not very popular here, as far as I know of course.So, this wave has lots of nifty things, like the gull, the tattooed arm and the trendsetter girl's torso, but overall (at least for now) there aren't many minifigs I'm interested on. Funny we discovered Series 10 before having seen Series 9 fully.

Well, to be fair we had just some minifigs reviews for Chima. Galaxy Squad is the only 2013 theme out in stores (and only in a limited area of the world too). And I guess The Hobbit, too- I'm not up to date with LOTR. I wouldn't be surprised if reviews pop up before this week ends.

I don't, I don't know the Agents line very well. I ran a Bricklink search using the word "piercing" and "piercings" but I didn't find anything so I made that, uh, bold statement. Ring and navel piercings I'm pretty sure are a first though, I think.

Ooooh my. What did we learn today, kids? Crooler is the first minifig with a navel piercing ever. Actually, she and Razcal are the first minifigs with piercings I've ever seen..

Excellent idea, I was planning to open this later or tomorrow but I'm glad somebody already did. As for the Chi crystals, I think they will be printed on the torsos like on the minifigs. Think Ultrabuild Iron Man. I hope the heads aren't one piece.. maybe they'll be helmets? Two things we'll hopefully count on, however, are Furno XL cape recolours and new weapon molds. The minifigs wear dark blue, dark red and white capes; and use two new types of swords and a new axe head used by the Eagles.

Breez, Bulk, Rocka and Scarox most likely won't as they are 9 euro sets. Furno wears a cape....doesn't bode well if you get what I mean. Bruizer..Cirkit might be right on that. : / Pyrox and Ogrum have no excuses whatsoever.

Yeah, I did that ugly collage work. Did you notice that, aside from the birds (who never wear them anyway) they chose all cape wearing characters? Gorzan probably is the Gorilla leader, so he/she's likely going to wear one too. Furno XL's cape makes so much more sense now.. Oh, and we're finally going to see proper bird wings for constraction figures. They have NO EXCUSES this time!

That certainly looks like a crown. I guess it's settled then. And I don't know if this was posted, but somebody won Eris and Wakz . It's the first time we get to see a full shot of Eris's torso. Love it.

Oh right, Cragger is the prince.I knew about the Eagle leader, that is why I was doubtful about it. But who knows, Eris could be her daughter.

Hint to memorize them- the first letter of the character name is the first letter of the name of the animal they represent. They're almost all pun names. Razar is a raven, Eris is an eagle (the female one), etc..

Double post I know, but I think this is worthwhile. The Legends of Chima constraction sets, we're led to assume: 70200 Laval 70201 Eris 70202 Gorzan 70203 Cragger 70204 Worriz 70205 Razar Eris, YES!

The buildings and the "Ultrabuild" sound great Laval/Cragger/Razar are the Lions/Crocs/Ravens leaders, right? Going by the building sets, it seems the Gorilla leader is Gorzan and the Wolf leader is Worriz. Would that mean Eris (the Eagle Ultrabuild set) is the leader of the Eagles? At least one female leader would be great.

Wow, I like the head of Johnny Depp's character a lot! Looks very useful for alien/demon/monster characters..and for a Black Metal performer minifig too, if you will. I know it's supposed to be face paint, but still...it looks really cool.
