  1. Nice.
  2. Very cool. Love it!
  3. And does LDD itself have any Windows 10 issues?
  4. One problem with 44224/44225 joints is that they don't bend far enough. If you squat down on your heels and put your hands on your ears, check out how far you've bent your elbows and knees. It's way past 90 degrees almost to 180 degrees from straight. That may not be a huge problem for the type of poses you want from your mech. But even having the mech kneel down might be hard to do since you usually want the knee on the ground to be forward of the hips a bit and the rear foot lifts the ankle off the ground. That puts the knee joint on the ground at almost 120 degree from straight. Some people get around this by having double joints, one joint for the thigh to join to the knee and one joint for the knee to join to the calf. Those two joints are then connected. Tricky. Your last Gundam was nice. The main problem I see with the scale was the legs appearing too short. If you keep the same height overall you may need to scale down the body a bit so the hips are slightly higher off the ground. Looked pretty cool though. That looks pretty nice.
  5. Cagast - except for the Grand Tournament that had the terrible fake horses with wheels.
  6. Maybe this place in Denmark inspired the name. Far in the east of the country, maybe a metaphor for the future...? I have no idea. The place itself looks.... quaint. They do have a nice half-timbered church tower there though. https://en.wikipedia..._Nexø_Kirke.jpg https://en.wikipedia...a.org/wiki/Nexø https://www.google.c...366!2d55.728449 Sounds like a sci-fi word though. Almost everything in Google search results for Nexo is sci-fi or tech company related.

  8. Where do they come up with these names? It's sounds ridiculous. I don't have much hope for this theme.
  9. Lordofdragonss, yes. that's why I don't want a dry castle theme like the last one where the only non-real world stuff was maybe a wizard character and a dragon. I want them to go all in with fantasy, like Dungeons & Dragons style, with non-human factions, cool weapons and armour, actual dungeons, ruins, temples, forests to explore, necromancy, etc. My dream is something like that aimed at older kids and adults.
  10. Err.....
  11. I agree Wesker. The problem I feel is that if people put up smaller and simpler products the big ones take the votes because they seem so much more awesome. So it's a catch 22.
  12. Yes, I think it really is in their interests to keep updating LDD for adults who may not be as enthused about MOCing otherwise.
  13. I agree. Also, I don't want minidolls. I just want slightly taller minifigs. :P
  14. Lovely work! Very nice.
  15. Something like that picture would be awesome! They could use the hot air baloon elements from that Friends set in tan... On another topic, do you remember when Elves sets were rumoured and turned out to not be what was expected? What if the new theme also uses.... MINIDOLLS!!! Do not want.
  16. Yes, Mass Effect! I'd like Macross but a good transforming plane is difficult when it is based on a specific license. Too obscure a license too for most of the world.
  17. Thread is too long. Can someone summarise? Is it still basically: One guy got some info from a LEGO store manager who may have made a mistake or been misinterpreted and it would be very surprising if a lowly store manager had any info anyway given the usual secrecy surrounding upcoming products... but it may be true. ?
  18. Nice build.
  19. I love it. Nice work.
  20. The Avengers helicarrier made it to review but LEGO were already making a very similar product. The product was not known about when it was submitted to Cuusoo/Ideas. Did TLG see the submission and start to build their own? Was it just a co-incidence? If I had submitted that design I would have felt let down. It may have just been co-incidence but I was really surprised to see LEGO release a product that large that was not from Star Wars. But, these kinds of products are usually in development for more than 1.5 years before they come to market. I think we have to give LEGO the benefit of the doubt.
  21. It would be nice for people seeking landscape parts if they just had a line of wildlife sets where it was an animal, perhaps a group/family, on some kind of landscaped base. E.g. - 3 monkeys in the upper part of a tree. - a tiger in a small jungle build, perhaps with a bit of a stream and some bamboo. - a zebra on some grassland. - a hippo in a swamp. These wouldn't have to be huge sets. I'd try and make the terrain more realisitc builds, NOT like the Friends jungle rescue stuff, no story or play features even except what kids normally do with animal toys.
  22. I think there should be a button, not a dislike button, but something that people can click to say they think this submission should be looked at for removal. Like the report button we have in these forums. So if enough people click on the report button they will look at it and go "Yeah, this seems like a poor submission and doesn't pass the basic quality test or doesn't pass our rules.". That kind of thing would be open to trolling but it could work well. If an awesome submission is getting trolled and rejected then they can reset the report count on it. But also they would have to ensure each user could only report each MOC once so that one user didn't repeatedly reject a MOC that is competing with theirs, or where they have personal beef with the sumbitter, or don't like the theme, etc. TLG may not like that idea of a report button and rejecting things because it could be really discouraging for young kids. If they put up a MOC that is crap by adult standards but they are really proud of it and then all the adults click report and it gets removed that would not be a nice experience. That's a difficult thing to manage. Perhaps there could be a two tiered system where you can remain on the site for show but are no longer able to receive votes to potentially be produced. If a MOC was relegated it could have some positive message from TLG like "We think this is really cool but unfortunately it won't be considered for production. It's still here for the world to admire though." Meanwhile, if users could choose not to see those models not up to scratch then they can immediately focus on the better stuff. Perhaps instead there could be a system where instead of low quality MOCs being relegated good MOCs have to be elevated before they can start on the 10,000 votes. So there is some system where people click a Like button and once it has 100 or 1000 likes it gets to go onto the more formal section of collecting votes where people don't just have to like it but have to complete the questionnaire about why they like it, how much they would pay, how many they would buy, etc.
  23. Yeah, that is a good set if you can get it on sale.
