  1. The new Power Functions L-Motor and Servo Motor won't be available for individual sale from Shop.Lego.com until June 2013. I'm not sure about whether the PF Receivers sold there are V1 or V2....
  2. MLCAD = Mike's Lego CAD -- "the ultimative CAD program for creating Lego like building instructions of your own models."
  3. @ legotechnicblue: Read this Eurobricks tutorial about "Posting".
  4. @ Meatman: You're correct; I mistakenly had the 8110 Unimog set in Rebrickable as one that I "own".
  5. @ jaaptechnic: Conchas is a regular reader of this Eurobricks topic, but you could send him a Eurobricks Private Message (PM) anyway. He's a LEGO Ambassador, so he has "contacts" with The Lego Group....
  6. @ matthewclso: GYUTA K is not an active Eurobricks member, so you should express your wishes for Building Instructions on that MOCPages topic noted in the first post above, or comment on his YouTube video.
  7. @ jaaptechnic: Even though the contest was a success (in that it prompted some EXCELLENT entries from AFOLs), I personally thought that the ADMINISTRATION of the contest was poor. There was no active disqualification of entries that were not based on the 9398 4x4 Crawler chassis, so the contest's Gallery was full of unnecessary clutter. I recommend being aggressive in claiming your prize, because (it seems) that The Lego Group has (undeservedly) forgotten about you. It will be several months before "The Boss" set is shipped, but it would be best to resolve the matter now.
  8. In Rebrickable, type in the 8070 set as one that you "own". Then, go to that hyperlink for Szecs' car above, and it will show you that you own 84.7% of the "EXACT MATCH" parts.
  9. @ VFracingteam: Would you be willing to send a Eurobricks Private Message (PM) to jaaptechnic, with the (secret) e-mail address for The Lego Group's point of contact for claiming "The Boss" prize? Jaaptechnic could PROVE to The Lego Group that he is eligible for a prize, by referencing the specific MOC that he entered in the contest....
  10. @ Calabar: If you go to Brickset.com and type "Iron" in the "Search" box in the upper-right corner of the screen, you will see the various "Iron Man" Lego sets (4529, 30167, 76006, 76007, and 76008).
  11. @ legotechnicblue: You're on the right forum, but you should (1) find the most-appropriate, existing topic to "bump" with your new post, or (2) create a new topic within this forum.
  12. @ legotechnicblue: I really don't understand why you're asking about a Supercar when this topic is about a Transmission Tutorial, but you could look at this Rebrickable webpage to consider building szecs' car from a 8070 Supercar set. You will have 84.7% of the required parts for that car by getting the 8070 set first.
  13. The 42007 set (pictured below) that you bought is very good, but so are several other recent Lego Technic motorcycle sets. Go to Brickset.com to look up each one and see their Reviews:
  14. @ Cbotics: Welcome to Eurobricks! Your Optimus Prime autobot has ninja-like flailing arms that can dice up any Decepticon!
  15. @ rm8: Can we assume that there will be no 2-for-1 "B-Model" alternate for "The Boss" set, like there was for the 9398 4x4 Crawler set?
  16. @ dhc6twinotter: It was LUGPol member vonsmallhausenPL who designed that leaf spring suspension with those parts -- see this Eurobricks topic for details.
  17. @ racedees: Your motorized 8862 Harvester is really neat! It blends the best of the old and new Technic systems (studded + studless). If you ever display it at a Lego Users Group (LUG) or Lego convention, many people will be able to "relate" to it since it "looks like Lego" and is fun to drive!
  18. Interesting mix of old Technic Bricks and new Technic Liftarms:
  19. This Bricklink webpage has a number of different Modified Plates that could accept the towball, like this one:
  20. Nice MOC! It's hard to see exactly what's happening in the suspension, but perhaps you could substitute these parts to replace the flimsy 9L Steering Links. You could put two 6628 "Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Towball" onto the ends of a 9L Technic Liftarm:
  21. The G63's proportions look good!
  22. @ TechnicFreak: Of course it's nothing "personal" against you. However, I think that (sometimes) you would get more "Replies" to your posts if you shortened them. You tend to type too many paragraphs for people to quickly scan your posts. Anyway (getting back on topic), to remove the sticker residue, you could get ideas from this Eurobricks topic.
  23. Well, there is an official "LDD User Manual" on this LEGO.com webpage. Look for it towards the top-right corner.
