Thanks guys I can;t find anyone else worthy enough to be in a Bugatti :skull: Like I said, if I was going to replace it, it will be with a metallic silver, but otherwise light grey is the next best thing to be true to the actual Bugatti Veyron. But funnily enough there IS a metallic silver curved slope on BL (a 1x3 instead of 1x4, but no biggie) ... maybe I can replace it with that Thanks again for the suggestions, even I'm taking in the mentioned ideas for my next non-imitation MOC car.

Thanks guys I admit life will be easier for me if I did this in CREATOR car 8-wide body/6-wide windshield/cockpit. ah well. The real Bugatti Veyron has those in chrome, so light grey stays (unless I find a badass chrome slope) And yes, that's the one and only Stig. I can probably knock down the entire back SNOT part a plate instead, that's probably the easiest fix that I can think of atm With this style, it's impossible to push it back unfortunately. the 5-wide front is too limited IMO Keep the comments coming guys, Ive seen that yellow Porsche as well, I like it a lot, and maybe I'll do my own take on that next (maybe hehe)

I visited the stores last week in Lawrenceville GA and Hoover AL and they're stockful of both. But that's too far for ya. And yes, it's a ripoff, I hate it, but what else can I do? (yeah, tiled plates, but not sure I'm ready to commit to something like that) Also, it's 5 years old and I'm a bit wary of buying them since they may be replaced soon by newer roadplates.

Latest (mini)project: the 1000-brick horsepower machine Rear wing up! And of course, minifg sits comfortably inside. The chassis of this one is based on my Grand Tourer Comments? Suggestions? thanks!

Love how you can pack so much details in that tight space. Thats why your stuff inspires me

Thanks everyone, glad to see it's liked. It's more like a VIP lounge of sorts, and the bar is already downstairs. I'll keep that in mind since I plan to do another bar (hey with CC, Pizza Place and a bar I plan a good nightlife street! Might as well add another bar) The TV stays though, because you need a TV for karaoke. I did have a few boxes, but since I was working on another building MOC I took em again, so I may put some bricks there again, someday So everyone else please keep suggestions coming! I'm going for a streetful of these guys (and in the future a townful! is that a word)

New MOC for me, The Eagle Bar and Karaoke back view is a bit plain, comtemplating adding a GG style fire exit 1st floor, The Bar the bricklink guy may have had a hell of a time picking those different trans-pieces for me 2nd floor, The Karaoke room extra alcohol fridge to increase perceived singing performance/reduce shame 3rd floor, storage, nothing here Like the modular sets, 2nd floor can be skipped (or made a duplicate of, dont have the pieces for that) With my Pizza Place My biggest MOC of all time Thanks for looking guys! questions, comments, suggestions? Aside from the fact that my photography skills suck? Thankyouthankyou!

That's a pretty damn cool town. So clean, so nice. Awesome MOCs too as well. The fire station and police station are especially nice and realistic, not the ridiculous glass skyscraper buildings that the sets usually have.

I just like the way CITY sets are going right now, and I believe that they are at an all-time high in terms of pure awesomeness, and will be undisputed if the Truck Stop and the City Square makes it into production. That's 2 buses already! How many have we had in the last 20 years, besides 7641? Noooone? (dont count that Spongebob crap) Nothing in 8404 resembles the fan vote image. I thought they'd even count out the bus (since the one pictured is the 7641 bus). So we can likely expect different stuff for the other two promos, like a newly-designed Cafe in City Square, yum.
-
AAAAWWWEEESSSOOOMMMEEEE!!! My fan choice is a winrar! That bus ---- damn awesome. I have a charter bus done in LDD, but I like this one because of its rather rare color. Orange truck - looks good as it doesn't look like the other trucks Yellow cars - we need moar cars don't we? Tram - nice, but I can't quite picture how to implement it yet Gone are the days where you'll find 8+ figs on a regular basis. 6 figs is fine. I love it. A helluva lot. I understand the dislikes. I feel like it's not quite a big 'set', and more like a pack of transportation vehicles (that can have nothing to do with each other), almost like 7641. Still, I will build my own town, and these guys will fill the streets of my town quite nicely, as they travel between a lively street with big modular sets and MOCs. Of course the price may be brutal, IMO. Bus is easily $25-30, Tram is $30-35, small truck around $12 and car around $6. It will probably hit $100

So, will this be unbuyable in USA like the rest of the 2010 Airport sets? If so then I am disappoint.
-
1x3x5? Too big, I think. That's almost as big as this guy's. They should just use the same door that this one used.
-
Not bad, the front resembles a LEGO store very well. Needs a big red 2x4 brick.. or just a 2x4 red brick, but it will be big, for the minifigs... yeah
-
It's packed with details! One note though, it was hard for me to go back to 'classic' style once I got into modular style, so be warned! it's addictive. I had to get something like this for modular style (among many others) :skull:
-
or 2x4 iPad tiles
-
Loving the proportions there. Is there anyway you can get those 2x4 wing pieces so the 6-stud hood on one side can gently slope down to 4 without the staggered look? (Unless you prefer that staggered look---I know some people like it that way)
-
Looks very nice, but also very big... I'd buy one, but only one... and maybe buy some more overpriced sticker sheets for the LEGO LEGO sets on bricklink or something
-
Woo, lots of feedback! Thanks for the comments! It's a fridge, where all the beer is supposedly at. and the oven is taken straight from the 7641 set, no mods. Yes! And here they are! It's a bit smaller than GG and CC, with only 2 floors and 24 studs wide, but here it is trying to fit in with the big boys. I also manage to plug in my sig fig's black Grand Tourer Yay blogged! It's an honor Back service door, basically for the delivery guys to come in like the others said without going through the front door. --- Again guys thanks for all the comments! It was a joy to build. It took 6 months from LDD dreams to the real thing, but that's only because I was trying to restart a LEGO inventory, I didn't have much of anything in terms of pieces and now, plus I didn't Bricklink until the last few weeks or so. With a better job I can hopefully start to pump more MOCs of this caliber. Hopefully.

USA AFOLs, They have no GGs left in AL. They say they'll be getting stock in June though, just like S@H.

Lots of people have put their own twist in the 7641 Pizza Restaurant, usually converted into a Cafe-Corner style/big modular style. Here is my own twist of 7641, enjoy. Yeah, they happen to serve some fried chicken too, Tried Shakey's Pizza? Interior shots of the 1st floor. Sink, 7641 oven, soda fountain, beer vault all built. Here are the interior shots of 2nd floor, nothing too fancy. Added some ceiling fans for great justice. And if you guys are curious, this is the evolution of design: Comments? Suggestions?
-
More feedback!!! Thanks guys. The Stig preferred it too, being a 'driver's car' and all Yeah. As for sports cars I only have 2 so far (track version, and I converted the original Grand Tourer in black, but can't find camera batteries atm), but I'll keep building more, as long as I get more bricks. I'm trying to design another (completely different) car but so far it's still tough for me to work with this 5-wide body/6-wide chassis setup, so yeah.
-
And I bought one for the computer with a login screen! And yeah this is also my fist in the bag build.
-
Glad you like it guys You'll definitely see both of these babies driving around in my future town along with other LEGO CITY vehicles.
-
That's an amazing sight, yet ultimately ghastly. It's just not a design that you can stack so high and call it a good looking skyscraper. That's a cool $7200 though!

I'm going to Sweet Home Alabama this Friday to see what kind of PaB wall they have. Then I guess I can also report to you if they have some Grocers still on the shelf.
