WOW. How do you know, which parts you need, before building. Do you build it on LDD? Do you have a list of the extra parts? I think I would very much like to build your model. Way more than the original one!

Pet shop will be here for at least a year. But if the emporium will stay till summer... hopefully it will.

Wow. very nice, like all your models. MKII SUV is still on display ;O) I am very much waiting for Lego to re-stock teir servo motor. Do need at least one more. I am not ready yet to dismantle the SUV. Will there be instructions for the models?

In germany it is still on stock. Firebrigade is from 09-2009 till 12-2013 GE is from 03-2010 till... I think there is not much time...

Hi does anyony have any idea, when it will be retired. It is on sale for nearly 4 years - that is a long time. Even possible that the last ones are already in the shelfes? I think it is a must have - and after reterement there will be rediculous prices fore the set.

Thanks a lot. Just ordered 2 of the 4 recommended Friends sets. Just looking for Creator houses. How about 31012 - can get it at amazon for 50 Euro. I am not sure but looks like good part source ;O)

Friends sets... are you sure. Arent they a little to girly for that ? Do have special sets in mind. I will look for the creator Houses as well - fine idea. I have no problem with bricklink - but I need to know which part I need ;O) For technic parts, no problem. But these are very different ;O)

Hi Lego Friends, I am new in the Modular Theme (usually I build Technic Lego), but with the PR I am really infected. I just build the PS and ordered the GE. But I really like to add some details like furniture and maybe do some modding and moccing in the future. Please let me ask, what is a good source for furniture parts and for parts in general (except bricklink!). Do you buy moduilar sets twice and rip one of for parts? I am a bit hesitating as they are so expensive and real bargains as with the technic sets are rare. Are there sets from other themes which I can use? Also there is only a rare secand hand market of the modulars. THx for your answers. Hopefully I did not miss a thread on this.

Build it today. My second modular ;O) First is Parisian Restaurant, which I build the day before yesterday ;O) It is not so detailed and lovely designed as the PR, but it looks very nice side by side. I think the set is really great and the fassade looks as it shall look on those kind of houses. Now i am in modulars too... Hurray. Normally I am an technic builder...

Yeah. I thought, that the PR will be the best modular ever. Thats why it is my first one ;O) But what should come after that. I thought that further builds will be disappointing. So I build today the PS. Nad to be honest - yes, it is simpler, but also nice. I like the toilet and the double build. And I cant imagine any other modular looking better on the left side than the PS ;O) They belong together... GE is next, and afterwards .... ;O)

I bought it on the 2nd and build it at once - it is my first modular. And I thought my last ;O) The Set is wonderful. I loved all the details - you can see how much ideas and love has been put in the design. Perfect Set - Excellent value. I think this will be very expensive in a few years... I am a little surprised about its size - it has more parts than the haunted house that I gave my girl friend as a present for Christmas. But when you build it you can see where all the parts go. It has been a very very nice build. And at the end... I just bought the PS and ordered the GE ;O) ooops ;O) I am a little unsure about the PC because thze reviews are not on the top as for the other sets. Happy building to all...

I would like instructions as well ;O) And RC would be very nice - but I think I am the only one thinking this way ;)

Hmmm. Sell the 8043 for ther crane. NO! 8043 is a special set. But which i like more... To be honest ... the crane ;O) The crane is so nice and looks modern - functions are very fine. Them being slow is realistic. Sell something else for the crane.

I have just finished building the 8439 Set. A really nice one. Imho much better than the newer 8265, which I sold recently. Looks perfect on the shelf near to 8455, which is one of my favourites too. Other ones... 8109 8275 42009 41999 "42000 Hot Rod" 8070 9396

Hi How did you pay? Via credit card or via direct debit? I think via direct debit, as you can see the payment right now. I payed via credit card and threfore i can not see any payment yet - lets wait till the monthly invoice is coming. Lego told me on the phone that there will be oayment from my account (credit card) the time when shipped. Next time payment afterwards!

I had exactly the same telephone conversation (had also received no mail). The availability was a misstake! No order went through! Directly after I have talked to the friendly lego guy the restaurant went out of preorder ... ;O) So we have to order again ;O) PS: As lego has a perfect service, I apologise this! Bad for all the people not recognising something is wrong. PSS: I have been told that no money have been taken from my account... strange. I ordered one via credit card and the other via invoice.

Yeah, ordered it too. Last night ;O) But why buy 2 of them at this early state. Will there be no possibility to get it in a special sale from amazon or toys r us at 20% off. Are these sets excluded from this sale offers, which toys r us is doing. Always thought it means "20% off on all Lego" ... --- Too bad the S@H is not working well again - no possibility to pay with VIP points on that... once again... ;O(

Yes I visited his website ;O) The concept car looks very nice - it is on my wish to build list. Unfortunately I am missing some of the older panels ... But as a matter of fact those come in real quick ;O)

Hi this is the first instructions I bought - wont be the last. I cant believe that this modell can be build with the 42000 set only (I build it from my parts, where a 42000 is included). This is so well designed. In my opinion even way better than model A and B of 42000 together. The F1 Racer is one of the sets nice to build, but when ready it do not touch you when kept on display. The hot rod is a nice build and a very nice catcher! Perfect - like it a lot and will keep it on display. If you have not tried it - go for it!

Wow - a sealed one... This is very rare. Here in Germany used sets are got to get for a reasonable price (same as in the Netherlands ;o). Bought mine used and it was very good in shape. One of my highly underestimated models - it is a very nice one. The Pneumatics are so unique and well implemented. 10 out of 10 from me! Made me buy the 8439 as well ... will get hime the next days ;O)

Oh dear ... My dark ages ended end of last year. Since last december I bought Lego and Lego and.... aprrox 30 000 single parts in sum or more. - 2 x 8110 - 8043 - 2 x 8070 - 8275 - 8258 - 8285 - 8069 - 8455 - 42000 - 42002 - 42009 - 42006 - 8263 - 9395 - 9396 - 8109 - 8071 - 2 x 8046 - 8048 - 9398 - 41999 - 8259 - 8065 and 2 shelfs to put some of the models in. 1/3 of them are build the rest is sorted on special boxes ... I have occupied a lot of space - my girlfriend hates it ;O) Build models are: - 42009 modified (e.g. with ultimate boom) - 8275 - 8109 (love the design) - 8455 (wow - i underestimated this one - very cool) - Madocas SUV MK II - My first Moc - a bubby from 8070 ;O) - 42000 in red - will dismantle it soon - Modified 8258 - 41999 - no modification needed ... very good - Highy modded 8070 - 2 weeks ago I finished the back side ;O) Sorry -.wrong topic - fits more in the show your collection topic ;) I hope next year will be more calm... ;O)
