  1. I have a small 3D printer (which I haven't used for a while) so I might try some of those track pieces out. Thanks for uploading the links!
  2. I like this a lot. I wish TLC could put this much detail in a steam engine train set.
  3. Well there you go. I had no idea about that website!
  4. What would be the best selling set then? Are there any reliable stats available to the public on this?
  5. Me too! For a few extra cents I am sure they could do it again! They come close on some of the bigger Technic sets (well, at least they did a few years ago - haven't bought any in a while) with the flip-over lids, but, they could do better.
  6. I'm having the same problem. Tried the recommended fix but it still doesn't work. I might try and dig around the LDD Contents folder to see what I can find. In the past I have hacked some software to override default settings that way. I just need to find the right location and information. If I find something I will post it on here.
  7. Totally awesome!!! It reminds a bit of one of those strandbeests that Theo Jansen creates. You should definitely put this up on Lego Ideas - beat them at their own game - there is no official Technic set as badass as this!!!

    Tram.

This tram has a great shape to it. Excellent profile from the side.
  9. Looks great!
  10. Geelong. I actually came along to the Canberra Brickexpo a few years back (the year Jamie Berard was there). Great bunch of builders!
  11. Very interesting. I am building a 7725 - not 9V but the original 12V. It's good to see another Aussie messing around with the little red beast!
  12. Great looking diorama. Especially like the tunnel entrance!!!
  13. I can see Tenderlok getting a gig at Lego in the future!!! The quality of the MOC's are just off the charts!!! Keep up the great work!!!
  14. That ladder technique is just an inspired piece of work! Well done!!!
  15. Such intricate detail. This is one of those MOC's where a Lego newbie struggles (from a distance) to see that is actually made out of Lego!!!!
  16. The trees in the "Old MocFiller's Farm grows yet again" photo look so... lush!!!
  17. Like others have said, it's definitely a cut above!!! Well done and keep making awesome layouts like this!!!
  18. I would love to build a smaller version of this, and maybe in a different color. The rooftops on the platform work so well!
  19. I thought he was referring to Billy Idol!
  20. Unlike a golf tournament, these bogies are welcome!!!
  21. Classic!!!
  22. That is pretty sweet!
  23. They are two seriously good looking engines!!! Well done!
  24. I got a the 7710 as a Christmas present as a child, but it was the only train set that I had (although I wanted all of the others that appeared in the catalogues!). Because I was so young I didn't have the money to get any kind of add-ons such as lights or even a motor! When I came out of my dark ages back around 2008, one of the first sets I bought was the 7897, and obviously, every new train set thereafter (apart the last few actually). I often think about this subject, and why I am so drawn to Lego trains, rather than, say, model trains. I think it's the allure of moving parts, lights, the renderings of actual trains that you can actually go see or ride on (or at least check the real life pics on the Internet). For me also, it's also that link back to my childhood where I could play for hours either building or playing with trains - a simpler time, where the worries of the world never seemed to come to mind.
