Another reason why he shouldn't have survived AUJ.
-
I agree. The death of Azog would have been a good end for AUJ. I read LotR after seeing the movies and I was content with most of the changes PJ made. I didn't read the Hobbit but I hope the changes he made are similar and not extreme.

I think I already know it ;)
-
The set doesn't have the new Rebels packaging so they should be normal Stormtroopers.
-
A user in another forum (imperiumdersteine.de) called this version "Merkel-Stormtrooper" :D
-
Do kids REALLY like this? I'm 25 and I can still remember that I didn't like such toys when I was younger. I think an AT-AT would be a better Oliphant than this mammoth ;)
-
A new Stormtrooper helmet!? I don't like it but I'm happy as long as we get the original version as well.
-
Mammoths are obviously interesting for kids. Now we need a LotR version ;)
-
I'm afraid the Erebor set could be uninteresting (for Kids) without Smaug. Smaug in Lake Town will be an iconic scene in the third movie and that's why people will buy both sets.

Gondor Soldier or Witch King. I think the the Gondor Soldier is even more important because he would be necessary for a lot of MOCs and we don't have anything similar. Too bad that he already could have been in a set (Black Gate)- 64 replies

The Lego Movie is mentioned so it should be the current (winter) wave. The current retailer catalogue contains the next summer wave. But as I mentioned earlier I think this isn't the current catalogue anymore.
-
My french isn't very good anymore but according to Hoth Bricks it is the latest catalogue! Edit: No, this isn't sure. I asked the seller about the LotR sets and will tell you what he told me.
-
I know the difference. But I thought retailer catalogues cover the same period. Of course, retailers get the catalogue 5-6 months earlier.
-
I think this isn't the latest catalogue. Seems to be the one for January-June 2014.

I hope there will be more Hobbit/LotR fans at the Toy Fair in Nürnberg. The reports from London came from people who didn't know a lot about the topic ;)
-
Yes, it should be slightly bigger and the catapults must be smaller. But apart from that it looks like the city and is small enough to be an official set. It wouldn't be perfect but probably as good as it gets.
-
My french isn't as good as it used to be but they wrote "no photos allowed in Nürnberg", didn't they? :(
-
I was still in my dark ages when the 6211 came out but I also didn't like this model. But the new 75055 looks nice! :)
-
A new Stormtrooper helmet would be a wasted mold!
-
I think 100k bricks for Minas Tirith was also only an example.
-
Thanks! I'm really curious now because the price increase is huge. An updated 10144 for 199 €/$ would have been the expected and conservative solution. I think this set will be great!
-
Minas Tirith was only an example. But in most cases you need new molds and prints for the minifigures and not for the buildings.
-
If this is true the Sandcrawler must have more than 1600 parts! PF would be great ;)
