Fortunately PJ can't change the LotR movies anymore ;) I think TLG would be happy to release and design sets from LotR movies but maybe not from the Hobbit.

It obviously wasn't very popular. When I compare the original model to the MOD I seriously think about only buying the minifigures. But I might buy this model if I get a nice discount.

Thanks for the great review! I think the price/kg-ratio is something we should keep in mind in the future because the price/piece-ratio isn't accurate sometimes.

I can understand that they didn't include a character that requires a new mold but Wuher would have been a very simple minifig. The set feels a bit incomplete if you have a bar but no bartender. If you include Dr Evazan you also have to include Ponda Baba and than you almost have too many minufigures.

A lot of people wouldn't buy the Jedi Scout Fighter if the Ithorian was in the Cantina. What I really miss is a Wuher minifig. And unfortunately we won't get him in any other set.

I agree. It is very unlikely that they didn't plan to give us more LotR sets. This is pretty obvious because we didn't get anything from Gondor yet. Or maybe I just don't want to beleive that we got sets like Orc Forge but nothing like Witch King Showdown. At the moment I wouldn't be surprised if they will give us more sets but I also wouldn't be surprised if they don't. I guess they already decided what to do with this theme so there is nothing left to do but waiting for the winter wave reatiler catalogue and writing e-mails to TLG and asking them for information about LotR to show that we still want more sets.
