  1. Do you mean 'in all seriousness' in a completely non-serious way, or 'in all seriousness' as in you're taking Anthony seriously but not Elijah? Surely you can't be serious? I'm content to let people yammer on, for now, because it's day one and I'm watching for slip-ups too. But this just seems like a weird place to start for such an experience player.
  2. Who was designed to be UNKILLABLE from the outset but then have his buffs stripped and give the party automatic Critical Hits on him later?
  3. The shifting stones of a nameless fortress in a forgotten corner of the world slide open without so much as a single groan in protest from the polished marble. In walks the faceless alchemist, the wall moving to close behind her. A secret passage of some sort. She enters a small, warm room, almost disturbingly empty and sterile were it not for two items of interest: a romantic candlelight dinner...and the monolithic doorway into a clearly unnatural....something. The room seemed to distort and darken around it, but if it bothered its inhabitants, they didn't show it. "Hm?...am I interrupting something?" "Ah...the most astute Cardinal and I-..." "Worry not, thou's presence doith no hurt upon us." "Oh. Very well. You know talking like that doesn't impress me. No offense, Scar." "Oh, fine." "None taken. 'Tis merely...thou haveth a term now. 'Old habits die hard'?" "That'll be the one. Why are you dining here of all places?" "Because only the three of us can get in, of course. And we assumed you were still busy." "I wouldst also wager that it hath been a while. But; why do ye hangeth yon head, Rose?" "Why do you think?" muttered the Rose bitterly. "It was as the Cardinal said. They are as puppets to those who know where the strings are." "But, art thou certain that Heroica wouldst not-" "Not an option." The Scar stared at her momentarily then turned to look at the flickering candle. "That is....very unfortunate." "And a foregone conclusion in my opinion. Perhaps if you had just consulted Anance beforehand-" "No. Chance," replied the Rose flatly. "But. It was not a complete loss..." She held aloft a glowing green power core from one of the advanced automatons. The other two Crimson Crown members stared at it briefly. "An extremely potent tool...applied properly. But I'm...uncertain if it falls within our mandate." "...that ist why thou are here," observed the Scar quietly. "Indeed." She turned her head towards the void-like doorway, almost hungrily. "We must speak with the Crown."
  4. You're missing the point. It's not the logic of justifying it, it's the fact that it's presumptuous to give your own NPCs these all-important titles that can't ever be disputed in the future. But they are your creations, so... It'd be like saying one of my NPCs invented necromancy, for a more accurate comparison.
  5. It's just a title of course.
  6. 7. Haldor may or may not have been discussed having a small role in a huge questline that may or not be happening in the eventual future. Maybe.
  8. Hmm. Yes, I suppose you could pass as a girl. Nobody would get close enough to you to make sure anyway. Sweat off a few more pounds and we'll talk. I didn't come this far to watch my life's work die screaming in a plane crash.
  9. Julia Jones present. God damn it Molly, quit staring at yourself in that mirror, if you die on me the girl's choir is done for!! Being on this backwards island is NO excuse to stop practicing. So chop chop.
  10. I predicted this is what was going on as this movie was announced, and I think before we knew they were trying to get Wonder Woman in there too. It's like they're trying to play catch-up without even knowing how.
  11. 1.) Have you played in a Mafia game before? If not, do you get how it works? What is a mafia. 2.) Will you be pretty free to play for however long this plays out (excluding the week of the 22nd, of course)? I might be on a week vacation late in December. If so I will probably have wi-fi. 3.) Rate, from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest, how upset will you be with me if I don't get these pictures and days out on a totally prompt schedule (these pictures take a long time to edit)? My fury will know no bounds. 4.) If, in case you get angry, take it out on Danny, yea? Roaarrrr boundless fury 5.) If you were in a plane crash, what magical destination (like in Lost) would you prefer it crash on? There would be dinosaurs. And I'd need weapons. 6.) Is Scotland, or is it not, the most peaceful and beautiful place in the entire world? I don't really know anything about Scotland. Supposedly they've got nice tape.
  12. The comedy here was just weird, but I really liked the first part of the trailer.
  13. Great Aunts in the Genghis Steppes.
  14. Fathers in Fenario? Aunts in Abra? Uncles in Uland?
  15. I missed the deadline anyway, but most conversion sites I've seen say it should've closed at 5 (my time) and not 4?
  16. Gloriously awesome and immediately recognizable.
  17. is falling out

  18. Atramor stepped back into the hall after a long absence, taking up his favorite seat at the bar. Scheherazade didn't seem to bother waiting for him to say something and slapped a bottle of rum right in front of him. The rogue thief knocked it back nearly as quickly, Twitzle the coal mine canary flitting about on the bar counter looking for any crumbs it could find.
  19. That's hardly his fault. Not to detract from the titles, titties and pussies conversation...but is the next Pandemonicon quest still on track?
  20. One of my favorite classes to play as. If Rogue Thief doesn't work out I'll go right back to it.
  21. Atramor returns to the training room, having become quite familiar with the area over his very long career in Heroica. Just over four years had passed. It certainly wasn't what he had expected...hell, he wasn't what he expected anymore. Perhaps wanting to reclaim a bit of the life he'd left behind, he already had his goal in mind when he managed to find the Copper Fox. "There ya' are. Place looks nearly deserted." "Indeed, Mister Gibbin. The next wave of heroes is on its way towards their advanced classes, though." "....hah, advanced classes." Atramor chuckled, then scratching his increasingly scraggly chin. "Where the hell have the years gone...eh. Anyway, wanted to pick up what I needed to be a Rogue again, but..." "But it's beneath you." "Aye." "Hm. Maybe your answer is more in line with Heroica than you think." The Copper Fox smiled a bit knowingly. "You've been with Heroica a long time, Mister Gibbin. There are some secrets we withhold from all but the most accomplished heroes, and now you rank among them. So, perhaps a few more tricks to add to your arsenal...courtesy of Heroica's original rogue." The pirate spent some time training with the Copper Fox, learning some of the trade secrets Lady Luck had left behind two and a half centuries ago. Armed with her knowledge - and several daggers, as always - Atramor left the training room a Rogue Thief. 22. Atramor stops by the marketplace on his way back to the hall, buying some Smelling Salts and a pair of Sticky Gloves for 525 gold.
  23. Atramor held up the Mythril Shard to the light, turning it around in his hand. He nodded absentmindedly to Frumptious - the Bonapartes would hardly be pleased at all, he'd joined the Crescent Union not long ago. But a job was a job, and it was satisfying to finally get paid for this one. The drafter pulled a few seeds out of his pocket, letting Twitzle peck them up one by one as he made his way back to Eubric.
  24. Awaiting UPS for it.
  25. "Thank you, Mauwalt Buyla. We appreciate the chance to rest...it has been...some time." Feeling as though she was nodding off mid-conversation, Miderun decides to head upstairs and turn in for the night.
