  1. Still sitting idly awaiting for a quest to catch his eye, Atramor noted a small wrapped package had appeared at his feet. Picking it up, he unwrapped it to find that it was (unfortunately) not the alcohol bottle he had taken it for. Instead, it was filled with a rather pungent, toxic substance...that he realized the perfect use for it. The rogue thief soaked his Tiger Claws in the sticky Pesticide, leaving a foul stench in the air that threatened to kill any nearby insects. And more importantly...rats.
  2. Awesome gifts. Happy to see a few of my suggestions went through.
  3. Thanks for your input. How about you actually bring up your suspicions for once?
  4. I checked back and I got the message, but I ignored it in PM. I honestly thought at first he had mis-sent it because it wasn't personalized at all: it didn't appear he was conscious of the fact that his message said "hey, these two people are suspicious" while I was one of the two people. I think I remarked on the accusation early on Day Two, but nothing ever came of it and then later that day we nailed Anthony. I'll Vote: Ewan Breckenridge (mostlytechnic). That is quite interesting considering that we haven't seen anything like it in the past three days unless I'm misremembering. Also, can I request that we lynch Gale tomorrow? He was not here at all yesterday and since he's not going to get mod-killed I feel like we shouldn't be leaving him off to the side, I feel as though he's slipped everyone minds.
  5. Probably for balancing purposes. Wolf King Followers only operate with one House. It would suck if you joined them and lost reputation with every other faction in the game.
  6. Dying? My money is on Duke having been their killer. We're doing damn well so far. Thank you for the analysis Foorth. Interesting that yesterday's discussion put some attention on these two, and it turns out Duke gave them some as well. I remain highly suspicious of Ewan for the reasons I pointed out (a bit later than I should've) yesterday.
  7. I was just going to comment on this. I like the discussion going on, though.
  8. I'm also hoping for some kind of Wolf Followers recruitment event because getting any amount of Wolfgang reputation has always been a big pain.
  9. Actually, I don't think Na'im voted at all, so I guess just that one, Yeah, I don't think you'd even be able to side with the Crescent Union unless you changed classes. I've seen a lot of messed-up stats but that would take the cake. Sorrow, 300 year old undead, [Class Redacted by Order of the Ziegfrieds]
  10. I think the event ended five hours ago, so I don't believe either of the last two votes count.
  11. Atramor has been there since (basically) the beginning of the Ji Pei's main story arc, he's seen all of the Ji Pei at their worst but also knows of their full capabilities.
  12. I love how irrelevant all of this is going to be considering the electees are an NPC and a straight up king. But I do like the conversation.
  13. No. It's (most of the time) set that way for a reason. IE, it makes perfect sense that only Hunters can use Hunter's Quivers.

    Star Wars

On my second viewing, the similarities to a New Hope are only really pronounced at the beginning and end. Honestly, now I'm thinking the main issue here was Starkiller Base. It did absolutely nothing for the story.
  15. I take this is a 'get you talking' vote, and I apologize, I'm having a bit of trouble getting back into the swing of things, I was quite busy/distracted on our lengthy break. This might come across as trying to steer attention elsewhere, but I'm concerned that neither Gale nor Duke have appeared today period. I glanced through the rules and it doesn't seem like there's anything regarding inactive players unless I misread. So...I suppose we just have to deal with the fact that they're going to be dead weight? I'll vote: Ewan Breckenridge (mostlytechnic). I trust that the town block has good reason for suspecting these four. Out of them, Foorth has come across as fairly on the level to me, Lusk has too for as little as he's been around, and Duke...has gotten weirdly quiet as of late, like I mentioned. But onto Ewan...he wasn't around on Day One. Day Two, he comes in swinging with some...weird logic. "Hey look I'm town because I didn't say I was gonna look back before I did!" That's about as much of a scum read as you get sometimes on Day One... I really didn't like this. I never hid the fact that I wasn't sure of my own vote on Percy but here comes Ewan saying "Oh, well. It was OBVIOUS he was townie." And to a point I agree with the logic behind not suspecting Percy, I followed it too, for the most part...but if you're that certain about somebody being town, don't vote for them. I wasn't feeling great about my own vote, but if you're ever 'convinced he was legitimately town' why would you ever vote for somebody? That's not how mafia works. I skipped quoting Ewan for most of the day because arguing with Elijah over dumb statistics a fair chunk of his posts. For some context, he was arguing with Delwyn (confirmed town) over day one stuff, namely that Delwyn had been throwing around baseless comments and she pointed out that it was a fairly common thing on Day One. You know, much like the random voting phase Ewan had mentioned earlier. Except this time it's 'scum trying to build a bandwagon' and not 'something everyone does'. It's called poking people for reactions around here and it happens regularly early on. So, let's recap. He joins us one day later to brag about how our lynch was poorly chosen and how obviously Percy was town. He spends most of the day arguing with Elijah over statistics or voicing hypocritical suspicions with someone who appears to be confirmed town. I'm pretty confident in my vote.
  16. Great to have a solid cop on our side. Not so great to see two townie nightkills, but hell, one scum in the first two days is a hell of a start, let's see if we can keep up this momentum. I suppose we won't have to waste the entire day discussing Mike, at least.
  17. Force Awakens. Twice.

    Star Wars

About the map: it seems clear to me that Luke intentionally left all the pieces behind for the next of the Jedi to find him. The Force would lead them to the pieces: he left one with someone I suspected to be a Jedi that was with Luke at his academy (he did recognize who Kylo Ren was), and he left the other within Artoo who I assume Luke activated remotely when he felt the Force awaken with Rey.

    Star Wars

Just saw it again. I have a theory now. We really don't know anything about the Knights of Ren other than that they wiped out the Jedi, right? I assumed it was first it was some kind of cult Kylo built around himself, but...what if it's a new order of dark jedi all on its own. Kylo Ren is an assumed name, so perhaps 'Ren' is as much of a title as 'Darth'? It begs the question, how many more Knights are out there and what the heck are they doing? Another thing: if they hadn't played the triumphant Force theme right before Rey tapped into the Force to beat Kylo Ren...I'd swear she was tapping into the dark side. She looks REALLY upset, got EXTREMELY aggressive, and manages to cut him up more than a bit. Those are the best kind of fights in my opinion - it made for my favorite scene in any movie ever in Return of the Jedi, and it occurred in Revenge of the Sith and even from Obi-Wan in The Phantom Menace. Also, I still think Han let Kylo Ren kill him, giving him something to I suppose regret later.
  20. I believe he means that "Darth Plaguies BEING a Munn is not canon", not "Munns are not a canonical species".
  21. "That's not what leadership does, kid. Leaders dish out the advice." "Aye. That's how I ended up here. Now look at this mess. I've flipped so many countries on their head I can't keep 'em straight. Heroica does terrible things to your sense of self-servin' greed, lemme tell ya'." Atramor shook his head melodramatically and swigged his last mouthful of rum.
  22. Luke, I am your father?

I will say that in spite of a main plot with like...any originality whatsoever, I think they did a really fantastic job with the new characters and that's what's going to count in the long run.
