  1. Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory Sign-Ups Althior Emorith, Level 36.5 Necromancer (K-Nut) Johon, Level 26 Raider (Bricksandparts) Hybros, Level 27.33 Assassin (JimButcher) Sign-Ups will close in 24 hours.
  2. Hall's gonna get cleaned out come December, but I agree it's strangely desolate right now. There's always the Fields. Which I would launch right now if enough people signed up.
  3. Love it. Troll's Mountain Fortress is one of my most favorite sets. It was so ramshackle and barbaric, super unique and a stark contrast to more or less every other LEGO castle. This is an excellent addition.
  4. I think it'd be cool, personally. Something in the shape of an arch, one side with stairs leading up to the doorway and the other with a little lava-looking base holding up the other side. Isildur, Elrond, minifig Sauron, and a ring. I think it'd make a nice, cheap set. A prologue battle pack feels a little too hopeful, however awesome it could be.
  5. It's a physical attack, so I'd think so.
  6. Nonsense. It takes true creativity to repaint the TARDIS.
  7. Must be magic palm trees then, because mine sure as hell don't. "Drunken Monkey? Sounds like one of the taverns back home." Atramor looked sideways at the Oracle before, last in line, he stepped through the strange ethereal portal. His skepticism was well-founded, but ultimately pointless. He felt his foot sink into sand the first step he took through it. The second brought him fully into Azzurat. He looked around quite interestedly. It wasn't terribly different from Draida. All it needed were a few dozen drunken pirates wandering the streets. He swept off his hat and wiped his forehead before stuffing it back on. "This ain't bad at all. Thought it'd be far worse considerin' it's built on top of a kingdom consumed by demons. To the bar, then? Damn heat's makin' me thirsty already."
  8. I'm really liking the sound of these. New orcs, finally, plus Radagast and more elves.
  9. Atramor glanced suspiciously at Byblos. As one of the Veterans, he respected the Oracle well enough, and his time with Ella made it quite clear seeing that those like her seeing the future generally turned out to be accurate. But fate and destiny? Those were ideas he could never get behind. The ragged-looking ape would have to prove himself if he wanted any help from Atramor. Good fortune didn't get anyone far. He nodded to the Veteran even as McCafferey pecked discontentedly at the edge of his hat. "With all due respect Miss Oracle, it's gonna take a lot more than fate's disfavor to end us. I'm ready to go."
  10. I'm sure when Byblos stabs us in the back for his demonic overlord he'll have some sort of insane monologue just like his pal Arthur. And if he's anything like Arthur we'll learn plenty about his personality beforehand.
  11. Atramor tilted his hat towards Ella as the party headed inward to the shrine. "I'll make sure Tarn knows you're around." He leaned against the wall as he listened intently to Liandra's tale, McCafferey staring at the Oracle until the Veteran chose to speak. Her gaze reminded him immediately of Ella back in Dastan. The gaze of someone that's probably seen, well, too damn much more than anyone should. Atramor frowned and scratched the side of his head. "No good comes outta payin' heed to anythin' that crawls outta Azazot. Are we headed to the ruins of the capital or somethin'? If that's where the demons were summoned, I'd imagine that's where their leader is, or...whatever the hell this eye is now."
  12. It acts as a regular hero, so yes.
  13. Do you think Flee would fit better? Only Jun's Tao Warrior class and the past version of Marauder have been dual-wielding, as far as I can recall.
  14. Only if for whatever reason they decided to swallow it. Harlots work in strange ways.
  15. Flash Bombs from Quest 18 can.
  16. Though it's awesome to see one of my items show up. True. "Gaaah! Who killed Mandric?!" "Cronk did it. Cronk sorry." THE QUEST IS SUCCESSFUL!
  17. Actually the Confused-effect only lasts three rounds, but the timer can be reset by hitting the enemy again with the poisoned weapon.
  18. That depends what you mean. Random encounters as in how they work in video games are sort of difficult to fit into things, though I've tried. By this I mean encounters that both are and occur in a manner that's truly random. Random encounters as in meeting people that have pretty much no bearing on the main plot of the Quest, though it may have been planned? I've had plenty of those. But I love both in either case.
  19. Atramor blinked in surprise and chuckled as Skuld lead them into the temple. "Good to see ya' again, Ella. Aye, we're here to see the Oracle, but what the hell are you doin' here? Trainin' under her, I s'pose?"
  20. Awesome. Stretching a small amount of pieces is what I do best in MOCing. What's the ruling on minifigs? I know none from the sets, and I'm assuming our sigfigs can be used, but are any others?
  21. Roleplaying NPCs is one my favorite parts of hosting. But don't feel like you have to have them yammer on every round of combat.
  22. I like Jun's Shield too, but I only really took the dual-wield mechanic from it, the flavor is completely different.
  23. MARAUDER These swift strikers deal several rapid, precise blows at once to keep enemies at bay. · Additional Health: +10 · Weapons: Marauders use a pair of light, one-handed weapons, such as daggers, longswords, throwing weapons, and whips. It must be specified which weapon is primary and which is secondary. One dual-strike weapon can be used as a 'pair' of weapons, but the dual-strike effect does not apply. · Job Traits: Natural Respite: (See Barbarian), Track Down: (See Assassin/Hunter), Two is Better than One: Marauders receive a 50% discount on the combined cost of each pair of upgrades while upgrading the weapon power of two different weapons at once. · Battle Style: Dexterous – Marauders can target up to two enemies at once to swiftly eliminate. 1. SHIELD: Slice and Dice: The marauder unleashes a whirlwind of vicious strikes with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level. The first target will receive 1-6 attacks from the primary weapon, and the second target 1-6 attacks from the secondary. The marauder can choose to attack one target 2-12 times. The number of attacks are decided by two additional die rolls. (WP: 15 (Primary Weapon) + level 30 = 45 damage per hit, 1-6 hits to first target; WP: 10 (Secondary Weapon) + level 30 = 40 damage per hit, 1-6 hits to second target, or 85 damage per hit, 2-12 hits to single target.) 2. CRITICAL DUAL HIT: The marauder attacks two targets with strength equal to twice their weapon power added to their level. The first target will receive damage from the primary weapon, and the second target from the secondary. The marauder can choose to attack one target twice. ((WP: 15 (Primary Weapon) x 2) + level 30 = 60 damage to first target; (WP: 10 (Secondary Weapon) x 2) + level 30 = 50 damage to second target, or 110 damage to single target.) 3. DUAL HIT: The marauder attacks two targets with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level. The first target will receive damage from the primary weapon, and the second target from the secondary. The marauder can choose to attack one target twice. (WP: 15 (Primary Weapon) + level 30 = 45 damage to first target; WP: 10 (Secondary Weapon) + level 30 = 40 damage to second target, or 85 damage to single target.) 4. RIPOSTE: The marauder deflects the first target’s attack, causing damage equal to its level to the second target. If attacking a single target, the marauder causes the target to deal damage to itself, and it is inflicted with the confused-effect for the duration of three rounds. 5. DUAL DAMAGE: The marauder is struck by both opponent’s attacks. If there is only one opponent, it will attack twice. Both attacks stack before row and defense are taken into account. 6. DUAL SPECIAL DAMAGE: The marauder is struck by both opponent’s special skills. If there is only one opponent, it will use its special skill twice, if applicable. Sound reasonable? It's going to be showing up in my next Quest as an NPC class, but I intend to pitch it as a reward for what's probably going to be the Quest after it. I just want to see what everyone thinks beforehand. I really changed up the Shield. I know it's similar to Mystic Knight/Sylvan Ranger, but unlike them it's not AoE.
  24. I'm generally not majorly concerned with voice acting, but Troy Baker does a phenomenal Joker.
