The Fields are getting an extra mechanic next run. It'll be amping up the challenge, as long as the party's willing. And that's not an issue with the Fields, it's always the choice of the party to keep on going, don't forget.

Well first off she should equip some more artifacts, she's only wearing two at the moment. Then you've got to either tear into your weapons or deal with having only a Ruby (though Obelix might be willing to sell some of his gems seeing as how he doesn't need them anymore). Elphaba comes soon so you could probably get any more you need from her, then buy some scrolls to either use or imbue for immunities to them. She has the resources to make a decent Chi Monk right now, at least until you get a class with access to weapons again, when you could (re)imbue all your stuff again.

Thanks. Yeah, it was about as long as I expected. I actually planned for it to be this short this time. I'm glad you all had fun. If Guts hadn't chased off Nuitan you could've gotten Shadeuax reputation by protecting him like Rian. And if you hadn't attacked the Plague Doctor he would've just left. If you put his mask back on he actually would've survived, but you probably would've just killed him again. I loved the interaction here. Guts pretty much flipping off anyone who annoyed him, Hybros quietly voicing his (usually pretty unique) opinion, Maurice doing his Paladin thing and injecting some common sense into conversations, Thalion trying to keep everyone from killing eachother... I'll get the epilogue up in a bit.

That's my point. The opportunity appeared when Maurice opened conversation with Rian, not the whole party, and unless Obelix wanted to attack him in the middle of the battle they were protecting him in, the party was getting the reputation. It's not so much a complex moral decision as it is 'is Thalion willing to kill this guy to prevent getting reputation with his friends', and the answer is obviously no, but I wanted to give him a choice nontheless.

Generally I do too, but I let Thalion do so in the case of the Guild because it was only due to one player's actions they even got the opportunity in the first place, and for the Ji Pei, well, there's a middleman involved, so I don't see why not. It's not a do-or-die situation like with the Bonapartes in Quest 44.
