my opinion (not that anyone is interested :-P) SW - great year for collecting, minifig wise. sets however are abysmal. AT-AP looks good, hailfire droid looks good. but that's about it. hope that juno and battle damaged *vader* comes in magnet set so i wont have to buy the building set. :-P it's just bad. stormtroopers and rebel soldiers mf sets are great. no need to buy ILC for army building. :-P Indy - motorbike chase and the trucks are great. others are quite meh. :-/ castle - some of the better sets around. nice seige tower, nice attack wagon. mining set poor but with great accessories. minifig builder set is poor (lack accessories, small trolls have no shield, etc.) the troll battleship seems decent but the lack of troll accessories is the killer. 6 trolls and only 4 shields and 2 swords. let's hope the released set is better. either that or wait for the chess set!!! creator - almost perfect. the beach house is a must have. small but so detailed. i think it is better than lego classics. :-P the cargo helicopter is also well done. looks like you can fit a mf there but it's kinda small. still it looks perfect for my town. city - the police station looks well designed. good as a playset. look at the jail. it has so many features. prison breakout. locked doors. modular. the main building is well designed too. too bad they changed the motif again. we're back to blue and white now. :-P the police helicopter looks decent to buy too. the truck and plane sort of meh. :-/ i'm not that keen on the cargo and postal sets. quite meh to me. :-/ the van looks terrible. certainly something a novice (like myself) can drum up in an hour or less. rest of them (EF, bellville, etc) big giant don't care MEH from me. :-/ :-/ on EF: how many stick figures can you sell before they start to look alike. ops...i forgot....they did that for 3 years with KK2 action figures. :-P yeah, cockpit is now enclosed but design is still crap. :-P giant popeye calves, 60s shoulder pads, super short thin arms. so the gimmick this year is arms that turn into mini robots??? duh. quick! someone pass kwi-chang's number to TLC. :-P but that's a big relief from me. 2007 has been quite expensive. still lots more sets to collect. can't afford good sets from 2008 as well. :-P

i have the same left over as yours except i have a full unopened bag of 2x4 sloped plates seen in jamie's leftover photo. it's weird that the 2 2x2 dark bley tiles are left overs. same with that half pin stick. i was also missing a dark bley cheese piece. i was pretty sure i was very careful every step of the way. just hope i haven't threw it away with those bags. :-P oh well, not a major missing part though. finally i'm done, so i can go back to sleep. zzzzzzzzzz

got avatar 3828 air temple on sale from walmart manville, nj for $17. not particularly fond of avatar but hey it's on sale and at that price it beats buying the magnet set. :-P

for those who missed out on Lego Royal Castle 10176 clearance, it is now available for sale from costco b&m for $69.99. the box is different from the normal retail version so those who are keen on keeping misb sets can also consider getting one just for the special box design. costco stocks up lego for the christmas season and will not carry the line once it is gone. :-P also, i saw sith infiltrator 7663 available for sale in walmart of manville, nj. it's a special edition and initially i thought it was a tru or target exclusive but apparently it is a walmart exclusive. it's currently on backorder to nov 22 from S@H. you might want to check out your local walmart if you want one.

for the US, it should be out this month. i'm quite sure it will be stocked in target stores in time for christmas just like last year's EF set BW vs WL. seems to be an exclusive set for target stores, valued at the same price of $50.

i thought the brick-built sledgehammer is better. :-P i'm gonna make a wc3 paladin tonight. :-P though i too like the shadow knight helm, it's the only helmet available to the axis of evil. that's *n* more variety pls! gimme vladek's visor too but in metallic color. :-P

I would sell it too. for that price you can get 2 sets if you wait a couple more months. some people are just too rich (think iphone scalpers' victims or xbox360 or ps2 when they first came out)...

i won't be collecting any new lego planes soon. they are just too big. i like realistic sets but the one exception is planes. and this one is no different. it's like a duplo set. helicopters are still nice and small so those are okay. *y* edit: also, why would you need air police for??? to arrest air pirates?!?! *wacko* *wacko*

i see that they came up with a new color too. bronze. i think we already knew that from the prototype but it's nice to see that it survived to production. :-P bronze axe and helmet...nice! *wub* the dwarves helmets come in so many colors. silver, bronze, gold. this is perfect for building your little dwarven army

click link here drat!!!! they went back to vladek's helmet for the trolls. but look at that detail!!! i am loving the dwarves beard and helmets already... *wub* *wub* *wub* and look at the brick built sledge hammer in that first barrel! nice! i'm gonna use that in my current castle sets. :-P i love the new troll swords!!! it's a little too big comparing to the classic sword but still looks nice and crude. just perfect for a little troll. interestingly, lego decided to go with trolls and giant trolls. lol... here's pic of the prototype for comparison. hurrah for the "supreme" wigs!
