would it make sense to list the area we live in to see if there is a pattern? :-D i'm east coast USA. specifically the tri-state area.
-
i wouldn't want too many of them trolls (the big ugly one) since i view them as mostly elite troops. say in the equivalent chess set, they would be the rooks rather than pawns.
-
would prefer the army builder set to include the gimli helmet (without the wings) instead. the captain america helmet should be limited to captains and the mountain king (as seen in the mining set!) :-P i don't think we will be seeing more factions in 2008. :-P but i hope they bring back more classic castle helmets like this one.
-
thanks for the photos christian! looks like tlc went overboard with castle. look at all the new molds. there's at least 2 diff dwarf beards. at least 2 diff dwarf helmets. pity, the more i look at the orcs, the more i find the helmets disgusting. yuck! but other than that....yay!!!! green orcs! not sand green but green orcs!!!

we have a faux blonde then! :-P brunettes who bleached their hair. :-P

here's what i gleamed from the wiki sites about AT-AP. so i guess that's why the third leg was curled up like that. here's a picture of what it looks like. :-P
-
i'm going to quote *yoda* (or paraphrase for those who are really anal) this is lego. and in lego world, they will come up with their own names for this race(s). no need to bring in elder scrolls, LOTR, D&D, etc. :-P i guess we will know in due time what they are called.
-
yoda is correct. AT-AP has 3 legs. i was wondering where the third one went. it's kinda strange it would be curled up like that. i wonder if it will have better movement than the AT-ST. you can't move the AT-ST legs much. if AT-AP's can, that would definitely be a "leg" up over AT-ST. sorry for the pun! :-D

Family Guy: Star Wars Episode Vignette (Lightsaber/Zapper Parody)
natelite replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Star Wars
if there is one thing i like about family guy it is that it jokes about everything. even obscene things like an old guy having a hard on for a young boy. -
a little disappointed with the nazis bad guys. grey hats and tan clothes??? duh... not sure if i like the new skeleton brick or the large ball. that's almost useless in mocs. i much rather they use the typical lego boulder than a large freaking ball. but the motorcycles and the trucks...4 wide eh??? can't complaint there! perfecto mundo!!!! edit: best sets would be the motorcycles and the trucks. the other two i can do without. as for mf, i think marion, indy and indy dad will be made into a magnet set. so no worries about not getting the other two sets. :-/ what's the appeal of the big boulder set besides the chrome gold chest? :-P i don't have need for a native. the seaplane looks crappy. none of the mf looks exceptional. like to hear your view/opinion. what do you see in the temple set? it's kinda meh for me other than the mfs, which most likely will be available in magnet sets. like to hear your view...

it's the wig i tell ya. it didn't work for donald trump and it sure didn't work for the orcs. :-P
-
yeah, i think the swords are too big too. should scale down to the size of the katana or the classic sword. please no zword (KK2 swords) size swords. the skeleton version is also too long, imo. *skull* *sing* any word yet on the wig? :-P not sure how useful they will be for mocs. they should have sticked with either the samurai helmet or the dragon knight helmet.
-
but those aren't my creation. :-P but thanks anyway.
-
yup....a great set indeed. i think it's going to price in the range of $50, in line with the viking ship. it's about the same size too. anyone knows what that fugly thing on the orcs' heads are? at first glance they look like really cheap wigs. i still don't know what they are... but other than that, everything looks fine. except as nadroj said, it could be better if the knight was riding a pegasus or griffin, but meh. :-/ they have scaled down the shooter tremendously. the viking shooters were gigantic. it's now more mf scale. so that's *y* i hope they change the orc's helmet to somewhat close to the troll's helmet since the pic seems to be pre-release version. ugh...it's like a bad wig. seriously.
-
whoa!!!! that set is great! it's confirmed then those green things are orcs! i wonder what is on their heads. it's fugly. the ship is beautiful! i see they turned vikings into orcs. :-P just look at their torso prints. and i think they are bring back the alien's armor. just take a look at the black armor on the orc with the whip. thanks for the pics!!!

just wanted to put a disclaimer at the top: THIS WAS DONE BY KWI-CHANG. There...now 99% of audience will not mistake that as my creation. on a personal note, i would buy these if TLC were to make them as UCS mechs. :-P click on image for stealth hunter. click on image for grand titan. I think it's a great recreation of the exo-force 2006 mechas. kinda how i would envision a UCS version would look like.

all is good. :-)

that's a pretty simple moc. simple but nice and effective. *y*

yeah...the manual itself is a monster. it's almost like a US comprehensive map with the ring binder to hold it together. really impressive. it has 2 stickers, the MF stats sheet and a 30 yr anniversary sheet. not sure what that is for. the bricks are separated into 3 sub-boxes. each filled to the brim. since i only have weekends to make, i suspect it will take at least 2-3 weeks for me to complete. anyway, keep reporting those numbers guys!!!

Family Guy: Star Wars Episode Vignette (Lightsaber/Zapper Parody)
natelite replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Star Wars
that's funny. but not sure why stewie is darth vader. if chris is luke, should be peter, no? -
maybe i have OCD and need to have symmetrical numbers? :-P but yeah, i guess you are right in that unless your number is below 100, there's only a slight difference between the sets. it's more for pride, when i display the number in a frame it should be worth commemorating. :-P i will sell the spare sets some time in the future. :-P

which walmart is that? each region has a diff clearance schedule. east coast is usually slower in sales. i might be able to get in on the sale. :-P
