yeah, i thought he was on it when he replied edited and done. *sweet* can you put the two versions together on MFs with the silver visors and also on MFs with the silver grill helms? X-D
-
while i think the poll makes sense for only those who have both, would it help if we have, say peeron or bricklink, pictures of the two choices? *sweet* or maybe hinckley can post pics showing the two choices on a MF with the silver visor and on a MF with the grilled helm for everyone to consider? just a suggestion. edit: - hinckley - i think SW4J said that the metallic silver euroarmor was from the dwarf's mine set which you have. can you check if your version of the DM contained the metallic silver armor?

not sure what ymp means but 227 is a good number. low 3 digits. almost like 777 but not quite. :-P
-
i don't know but you should hush just in case it was a production mistake and if they start reading this they might wise up and switch back. :-P edit: drat - wished 2007 sets' armors were also made of metallic silver. :-P now i gotta replace all those pearl armors.

it's most likely a printed helmet. lego likes to use printing when it comes to SW mfs. i doubt it would be a visor since the part doesnt move. it would be crazy to put a visor there and have kids just break it trying to get it to swivel downwards to cover the mf's face.

umm, most likely stickers, matey. btw what is ttfn?

What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
natelite replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
yup, i agree with snowtroopers and scout troopers. *wub* those headpiece. they just give one with the CTT. :'-( -
i dont know why though. it's just a regular yellow pony tail hairpiece. i got plenty of those from the women soccer team set, which i bot on clearance. i prefer the black hatpiece. :-P
-
wow...i would give 2 of my lug nuts for the number 7777. :-P [spoken in the voice of mater from cars] still no one getting nice round numbers like 1000, 2000, etc.? or super lucky 7s, like 7, 77, 777, 7777? :-P

thanks hinckley - damn nj's target stores.... golden tower on clearance but not HP. and all the special edition sets aren't out yet!!! poor christian. got him the hp for $90, now on clearance. :-P you want another castle, matey? :-P

i like your mfs. i think they are very creatively done for that theme (post-apoc). though it is a little too dark for me but it was right for the theme. I prefer more human resemblence in the survivors, heads like darth vader's, or that prof from HP with the mechanical eye. i like the guy with the red googles. the rest are just too dark for me. X-O that zombie head, that brain-in-a-bowl, the fire-nation head gave me the chills just looking at them....scary stuff. *y*
-
how much was the golden tower for? the hogwart was the new castle, msrp $90?? where did you see it on sale? i think it's selling well in nj, haven't seen any sale just yet.

i like how you used ball joints for the construction. from the pictures, it also look less inhibiting and obstrusive from the official build. it's still a little skinny but i think is much better than the official sets.
-
great...those two hands look like they can be added to the EF mechs. :-P bionic mecha on! target in my area still doesn't have this set in stock. crap.
-
thanks for that. i added the long pin to my model. i was wondering why i have an extra pin left. i guess the manual left that out for some reason. now if only i know where the extra 2 dark bley 2x2 tiles should go. :-P
-
great. looking forward to seeing if you have the same leftover parts as i have. :-D as for the relocation nightmare, i guess that's why they went for sturdy design over having an interior. :-P i can see the light now. to lift it was quite the challenge. i should measure it one day but i guess it's 20+ lbs. since it's so bulky, it's kinda awkward to hold it. if it's small and heavy like a dumbell, it wouldn't be an issue, but it's bulky, fragile at the edges (from the greeblies). so far mine's still on the floor. :-P gotta move it to the shelves and cover it. :-P

i know that...i was joking. :-P or was i??? 8-

i didnt buy anything but i won a skeleton carriage from that cocoa dragon contest. :-P go to http://www.postopia.com, register your kid and play away!!! once a day only though. :-P i heard of this from classic castle where a few members have also won. :-P

i never know what TTFN means. teens these days... :-/ :-/ :-/

I noticed i got a new title: MF horder. either an admin or mod is extremely pissed off at me for outbidding him in an ebay bidding war or that MF stands for Millennium Falcon or short for Mini Fig. I hope it's the latter. X-D X-D X-D |-/

http://biz.yahoo.com/ibd/071005/managing.h...=1&.pf=oneclick Read this little article. It said that most Americans work 1.5 hours a day out of the eight hours they typically spend in the office. 8-

well, i like it coz it acts as a nice support for the mech when standing. without it, the mech would just flop with its legs up like a crab or turtle on its back.
-
Hmm...i thought we do. Link edit: changed to link instead of img. too large. :-P we have scary creatures in the form of a spider, cobra and some flying insect. there's the cargo copter that i absolutely *wub* *wub* two neat little creator set featuring mini train and mini truck.
-
hmm, even better is that the stormtrooper, at-st driver and rebel soldier magnet set is only 9.99 vs 12.99 from shop@home.

i got an extra bag of 2x4 sloped plates in the UCS MF. other than that i got a duplicate bag in the king's seige castle containing the silver visor and 2 kite shields and 2 round shields but was missing another small bag to complete the set. needless to say a quick call to customer service got me the missing parts, so i ended up with the extra visor and 4 extra shields. :-P i *wub* *wub* packaging gaffs.
