Thanks for the review, Brickthing! Splitface is a nice set, but due to my limited budget I'm still unsure whether or not to get him. Anyway, your combiner is fantastic! It blows the official one away. I especially love how you did its head, ingenious use of the double-sided helmet piece.

What about a 1.0 foot instead? For my current Heroes, since I don't have many 2.0 shield pieces to go around, I use a black Metru chest armour (we got plenty of those from the Glatorians' life counters) to fill in the back, and it works pretty well for me.

Stay on topic, guys... Anyway, thanks for the pics, fallenangel309! A pity it seems the two don't actually appear in the actual game, though.

Blue does indeed go well nicely with black, I just hope it's in a dark enough shade to not stand out so much.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it's just temporary. After all, 2012 hasn't come yet. You guys are lucky to get them this early. Here in Singapore we'll probably get the sets around February.

They're definitely in the winter wave, we already have finalized pics of them, and some people already have them. It's more likely their appearance in the show are either pushed back to the summer episode(s) or omitted completely.

With all the talk about Breez being missing from the TV show, I looked around for pics and watched a of the set. I never had a good look at her, I was really turned off by all that white, but to be honest, after seeing more of her, the white doesn't seem so bad. It doesn't stand out as much as it does as on Furno, I might end up getting her after all.

Hey guys - just wondering. I don't play TOR, so could someone link me to "real", perhaps in-game, pics of the Republic Striker Starfighter and the Fury Class Intercepter? I don't know their "real" names, so I had a hard time searching for them. Thanks!

Thanks for the review! But as for the set... Ehh... I don't know. Couple of things. Firstly, and a minor gripe - really wished that TLG had included a second hand for this guy. Secondly, all the lime green is just ick. There's way too much of it, IMO. With the 2.0 sets currently going at 45% off in my country, I'm really thinking if I should pick up a Surge 2.0 and then mod this guy with blue parts when I get him. But I don't have a very big budget, and if I get this guy I'll probably have to sacrifice getting one of the smaller villains, all of which I really love. Decisions, decisions... EDIT: Ninja'ed post. My guess is that Nex will be getting the white chest, not Bulk. Bulk's is probably a filler for a silver recolour of the chest piece. Hopefully.

Oh. Whoops. Never really paid much attention while watching it. Crossing my fingers on a water theme. Maybe they could have Jawblade return (another break out on his part, hmm?) as a recurring villain!

If that's the case - sadly, my guess is that what we've seen so far with the Heroes vs villains are probably more than half or so of what the real battle sequences will be. Sigh.

Since the blue is here to stay, I'm really hoping it's a darker blue than Surge's. Please, TLG? And Bfahome you made me laugh hard with that pic. That made my day! EDIT: Okay, is it just me, or does Jawblade's head seem way too oversized? EDIT 2: Saw the comic - did Rocka just call Stormer sir?

That's good to know, thanks guys. But looking at how kids currently handle canisters/boxes... As much as I love canisters, I guess the bags are a welcome change for me. I'm running out of storage space.

A question about the bags - do they make the pieces more 'vulnerable', so to speak? I mean, since they're so flexible, might pieces get damaged more easily when handled either during transportation or by other customers in stores? After all, boxes and canisters probably do a better job at protecting the pieces.

It seems the red from the blades "leaked" onto the silver handles. Another correction - it's actually a 6-long shell piece. Never noticed it in the review until you brought it up.

Unfortunately, my guess is that would probably be the case if they do Catwoman. I find TLG is unnecessarily bulking up the characters, possibly to bump up the price tags. Iron Man's bulky shoulders? Cap's weird shoulder armour? No thanks.

I doubt it. Most kids wouldn't know who she is, and she wouldn't be 'cool' to them anyway since she doesn't have any powers.

Yeah, after looking at that picture, the white on Breez doesn't seem to stand out as much as it did on Furno. But that doesn't excuse Lego for putting white on her.

I agree, Evo is quite disappointing based on the pictures we've seen. He just looks too bland to me. But his colours gel together well, so I can't say he's as bad as Surge. Still, one of the sets I striked of my wanted list after seeing reviews of him.

Funny post there, Cirkit. I agree about Voltix. His colour scheme seems a mess to me. There's purple, black, yellow, and red. Makes him look very messy. As for the white torsos on Bulk and Nex, I assume they're just prelims, meaning they'll hopefully be properly coloured when they finalized sets roll out. Can't say the same for Stringer, though, my guess is that the blue will stay. Which is a shame, it's the only thing I don't like about him.

Heh, sorry for bringing up the discussion on 9494 being CW or PT. As a Lego fan I'm not that into LSW even though I love SW. But I think 9494 is a great set - I don't have many SW sets, 9494 has a nice selection of minifigs, accessories, and a fairly nice ship, even though I still don't approve of the colour. Definitely getting this one.

On the topic of having such a small summer line - could it be that we're getting lesser sets due to the Superheroes Ultrabuild sets? They are, after all, in the same building style. As for Voltix - I was hoping we would get a recolour of the BP head, but since his head is black in the animation it's probably the real deal. Sigh.

Green Lanturn looks fantastic, the way all the armours gel together! Nice job on Joker as well.
