  1. Thanks for that reference photo. I think Falcon doesn't need leg printing, but he NEEDS dual molding for his arms. ugh. I'll definitely try to use a marker to give him shoulder pads or something.
  2. I've always pronounced it as the latter and I'm glad it's the official pronunciation. It sounds more menacing and realistic to me at least.
  3. I'll definitely apply the stickers, but I also want to try the brick built solution to see how it looks.
  4. The torso looks good! I might try that. You'll have to do something about that mouth plate, though!
  5. Actually, thinking about the Unity masks - why would Ekimu need to craft the team new Unity masks if there are golden ones out there for them to find anyways?
  6. I haven't yet seen the video, but it's nice to see confirmation that Umarak's mask has powers of some sort. It looks too awesome to be just another stand-in mask that does nothing.
  7. I was in my dark ages when the last 2 HP waves were released (and I hadn't seen the movies then, don't hate me), but I've since seen all 8 movies and that left me craving for Lego sets! Here's hoping we see some HP sets to go along with the FB ones.
  8. I was about to mention that about SW's legs. Yeah, I can forgive Lego for not printing that. But almost everything else is a crime - BP, WS, Crossobones, Cap?! He's the brickin' titular character! You would think he'd get the best treatment. Nope. Instead, he gets a reused AOU torso (and he has a new torso in Civil War - seriously, they could update Iron Man but not Cap), and no leg printing. Ugh.
  9. We've had a judge, what about a lawyer?
  10. FYI, the green A-Wing with the female pilot that comes with the Vader set was featured in this week's episode of Rebels, and... This episode also featured TIE Bombers - here's hoping we see an updated version from Lego soon!
  11. 75060 Slave I is my first (and only... so far) UCS set. It's a brilliant display piece! I paid a bomb for it and it takes up a ton of space on my desk, but it's lovely and so worth it. 75021 Republic Gunship is everything I could ask for - playable, lots of space, and extremely swooshable thanks to the retracting handle. It was my first Lego Star Wars set out of my dark ages and I'm so glad I bought it.
  12. 25 minutes for a small set?! Is there so much to cover? Ugh, no thanks. I watch JangBricks exclusively these days, even if it means I have to wait a while before seeing a review. Short and sweet. Sigh, I really miss the days of good ol' text reviews. They're getting rarer and rarer each year.
  13. All the voices seem okay, except for Umarak. He sounds like G1 Megatron
  14. I guess I wasn't clear - I meant that with all the "I want X, I want Y" hopes for the 4th Civil War set, people are setting their expectations too high. Don't get me wrong, I want a great set with great minifigs too. I really want to see an updated Hawkeye and Vision. But let's be realistic - when has Lego ever given us exactly what we wanted? Rarely, if ever. So don't pin too much hopes on that last set.
  15. At this rate, all your anticipation will end up with disappointment. Just be patient; it'll be revealed in due time. I don't think the AOU Hydra Fortress set was revealed until very close to its release date.
  16. Did Brickset measure it with its legs retracted, or standing up? I don't own the Skopio, but I've seen it in hand before - I wouldn't be surprised if the Skopio, with its legs splayed, were taller than Grievous. Where can I find those 40M CCBS shells, good sir?
  17. Bookmarked. This looks to be a very promising build! Unfortunately, I'm no MOCist so I can't help or give any advice, but I look forward to see what you come up with!
  18. Wow... These really bring back memories of my childhood. Slizers were as much of my childhood as Bionicle was. Thank you for bringing up this topic! Mega and Super Slizers... Man. Those were the days.
  19. Are there pictures of the new blended Tahu and Kopaka masks? I can only find pics of Onua's. It seems like the new trans-green blended Tahu mask could be the G2 equivalent of the MOL infected Hau Nuva.
  20. June, I think. But given that the winter wave this year was delayed by 3 months in the US, I wouldn't be optimistic.
  21. Really disappointed that Rex's AT-TE doesn't come with the clone helmets - oh well. The set looks fantastic otherwise.
  22. Like I said, the most noticeable difference is the two red "V"s, which the CW one doesn't have. While I like the AOU torso, I'm disappointed that Lego didn't give Cap a movie-accurate torso, especially for a movie centred around him.
  23. You're right. I didn't notice this before - both CW sets have Cap in his AOU costume. A little disappointing, considering that he has a new costume in CW. But I don't mind it that much; I love the AOU costume and I don't own any AOU sets! About NYTF being completely useless this year - here's hoping that some websites (like FBTB) have video demos of the sets, as they have in past years. I'm looking forward to see the interior of the new Quinjet, although it looks to be pretty tight like the AOU one.
  24. Nope. Most notably, the Civil War torso doesn't have the two red "V"s across the chest.
