  1. You're right, I forgot about that new mold! Either his classic armour or something more cartoon/comic-based.
  2. Those price points are odd. Not large enough to be the 4-winged transport or the AT-ACT, the 2 most obvious potential candidates for sets... Location-based sets, perhaps?
  3. At this point, I don't think Lego makes a clear distinction between comic-based or cartoon-based sets anymore. IIRC Detroit Steel is from the comics and hasn't appeared in animation yet, while Coulson/Lola is probably an amalgamation of the Spider-Man cartoon and AoS. And I'm betting that the Iron Man suit included in that set is yet another variation from IM3, like we saw with the Avenjet and Red Skull's sub this year.
  4. I'm guessing it'd be able to slide sideways like the doors on 75021 Republic Gunship. My major gripe with the U-Wing is that the mandibles on the Lego version are WAY too small! They should at least be about 3 times longer. It's a similar problem to the minifig scale MF's we've gotten, but hopefully it'll be an easy fix.
  5. Just stumbled on this thread. Wow, that Sphinx takes the cake. I brush aside most of these IDEAS projects as kids' projects, but the Sphinx is an obvious troll. Got me a good laugh, but ugh.
  6. I really wonder why Lego hasn't reused the elongated limbs we got for Woody in the Toy Story sets. They'd make great arms for stretch-y characters like Mr Fantastic, or even a minifig-scale Groot.
  7. Those 2 vehicles are great opportunities as sets and I'm pretty sure we'll see them sometime in the future. I'm personally hoping for the 4-winged Imperial transport. This isn't Super Heroes or any other regular licensed theme; this is Star Wars. We're still getting OT and PT and CW sets years after the movies/shows have been released!
  8. When I read that, I immediately assumed that he was talking about the Imperial BP in the Winter 2017 wave. The winter waves tend to appear in stores in December anyway.
  9. Glad to hear that Detroit Steel will be brickbuilt. Yes, but this set comes with Lola as well - unless both Lola and Detroit Steel are smaller builds, my guess is that this set is going to cost USD$40.
  10. If it does come with 2 Stormies and 2 Death Troopers, this might be the first BP I buy multiples of! Makes me want the 4-winged Imperial lander we see in the RO trailer even more.
  11. Shadow of the Destiny's Bounty? A small boat, perhaps?
  12. We just got an AT-AT a couple years back - same reason why we're not seeing any OT X-Wings in the Rebels wave. But fret not, we'll be getting a couple more RO sets next year, and since Star Wars is an evergreen theme, the chances of seeing an AT-ACT in the near future is quite high!
  13. The new Rogue One trailer is out! I couldn't stop thinking that the 4-winged Imperial landing craft would make a great Lego set. 2017, perhaps? It's rumoured that we'll be seeing 2 RO sets next year.
  14. I forgot about the quadjumper! I concur. I think TFA is pretty well-covered; there's plenty of room for re-makes/obscure vehicles over the next few years.
  15. I'm guessing that Lego is saving ST (Sequel Trilogy) sets for Ep 8 next year? I'd love a more accurate re-make of Kylo's shuttle. Maybe in 2018 or Ep 9.
  16. ...Another Jedi starfighter...? ... I need it! In all seriousness, that's adorable. I do hope we get something like that. I love my Eta-2s (and I'd buy another one anyway), but this is a great opportunity to do something different! Also, I'm guessing that Thrawn comes in the Phantom 2.0 set? EDIT: Oh dear, it's incredible! Kinda a cross between an Eta-2 and a TIE Interceptor. Please, Lego, make it happen! EDIT 2: I didn't see SvL's later comment. It's actually happening! This made my day. I'd take this over Yoda's hut any day.
  17. Detroit Steel? Hopefully this means we get him as a brickbuilt mech! And another chance for a new Iron Man armour
  18. Are we sure that Thrawn will be released in such a cheap set? I'm pretty certain that Lego knows that Thrawn sells; I doubt that they'll let him go so easily in a small set.
  19. I'm really looking forward to seeing the interior of Krennic's shuttle. Unfortunately, there are no visible clips that imply opening hatches other than the cockpit. I'm guessing that the entire front of the ship folds out to reveal the interior, but that might make access to the back of the shuttle a little difficult. Perhaps the sides can fold out a bit as well?
  20. I may get K-2SO if/when he goes on sale; his build intrigues me. The rest are an easy pass. I love the in-universe Death Trooper design, but like Aanchir said, monochrome CCBS figures tend to be quite bland.
  21. That shuttle looks absolutely amazing; definite purchase for me. I'm glad that it comes with two Death Troopers. Also, it seems like the U-Wing lacks the mechanism to shift its wings backward...? Hopefully new pictures shed more light on this. EDIT: Oops, jumped the gun a little too quickly on the U-Wing. You can see hinges on its sides, where the wings should fold! Glad this isn't another case of Kylo Ren's shuttle.
  22. This is a great concept! I really like it. I especially love the inclusion of the flick-fire missiles.
  23. Here's hoping the shuttle has at least 2 Death Troopers! But it wouldn't be so bad if it just came with one; now we know that we'll be getting a Death Troopers BP next year anyway.
  24. Sweet! Here's hoping we see more of the RO set soon.
  25. Here's hoping that's 2 Stormies and 2 Death Troopers, with no custom markings. That'd make a brilliant army builder set.
