  1. I don't mean to give the wrong impression of myself having abilities, but that those who skip voting are making themselves targets, both for night abilities and day votes. How much time do we have left?
  2. Ok we're running low on time, and we're not really getting anywhere. If we see any value in a lynch (which we clearly must) we need to pull it together in some consensus. As I stated previously, I will change my vote to accomplish a lynch, but I feel most secure with my current vote. Come on people, get those votes in! Not voting is dangerous, to the crew as well as the one not voting...
  3. I am hitting the quarters for a few hours but I'll meet you all back in the mess hall for a discussion in the morning. For the record, I stand by my vote. Monty is by far the most suspicion to me and I want to have that on the record. If things change and my vote is needed for a lynch tomorrow I will consider a change if it benifits the town. For now, I encourage you all to seriously consider Monty, we are at 4 votes now I believe, and need 7 total. We may be wrong, but he is the only one who has acted "fishy" all day. Check in soon...
  4. It's showing we have 5 people on this topic, but it looks like all the same people that have posted on this page. I don't think you've posted any more fluff than anyone else, but it's not about that. I just feel you've road the fence, trying to stay out in front of any controversy, backing down in the wake of any accusations. With the lack of any strong evidence, you stand out the most.
  5. I am still unhappy with the lack of peoples participation, but I do accept the logic that being quiet doesn't equal being scum. Jerry did come off as odd, but honestly my first reaction to the miller claim was similar. As of right now, I feel the case against Jerry is more of the first day grasping for anything argument. While his oddities have been noted, I'm not ready to hang him this second. On the other hand, the logic Patrick used in his argument seems very sound to me. Monty seems to be playing delicately, attempting to avoid suspicious and riding the fence on each argument. I know suspicions fly the first day, but this is the most logic I've seen so far, therefore: vote: Monty Thornton (Mostlytechnic) I am open to any argument and will consider a vote change if I see a better case elsewhere, but for now this is my best shot.
  6. (Note to all, I am posting from my phone which froze in then posted 3 times straight. I sincerely apologize for the duplicates, I simply can't edit due to the game. Again, sorry)
  7. Quite true from my experience too (all 2 games) however, I don't see anything wrong with an attempt to strong arm her into the conversation. However, I have noted the above comment the she's been inactive since these posts have occurred, which I had not checked. I'll take that into consideration before making any rash votes. 8. With very little to go on in the first day, Claire's Silence and Jerry's odd approach to the miller situation stand above the rest. My current inclination is to vote for Claire, however, hearing from her could change that thought. Claire, if you happen to be checking in, now would be a good time for you to come to the deck and chat. If not, I will follow through with my vote unless something drastically changes.
  9. It was the early claiming that surprised me, but it does aid the town by avoiding a town lynch if/when his story checks out.

    Moral Dilemma

For those that came in recently, I am completely opposed to stealing in any form. I just wanted to gage folks thoughts, in regards to what's been said, I recently was at Target and saw several architect sets with smashed boxes. I was curious as to if they would cut a deal. Some of the value of those sets is in the box condition. Anyway.
  11. I'm curious as to the reason behind your possibly showing up as a spy, but if what you say is true, thank you for being up front with it. It also helps us get away from the fluff and onto true discussion. I look forward to hearing more of your thoughts.
  12. Holy cow! That is a collection! I guess Christie's would not be interested in my 1 tub of bricks and 100 minifigures I think the best idea is to send an itemized list to the insurance company. My violin is highly valuable, so that alone was instinctive enough for me to tell insurance exactly what I had in my home.
  13. Spain? Nice bro, if we get off this boat alive I hope to hit those beaches. Oh and uhhh...if you search my stuff just know that those pills are for medicinal purely medical medicine-y purposes!
  14. Dude, the is way not cool. Like, I won't be able to sleep for a week. This is why I never surf in the USSR!
  15. I can't speak to the value of individual cards since I don't know what you have, however, the 80's are typically not valuable years, particularly with sports cards. Sports cards spiked in value in the late 70s so people (often investors) jumped to buy cards to make money. In response card companies over-produced cards to meet the demand. Also, donruss, fleer, and Upper Deck all started making cards which flooded the market. Once the craze settles down, 80s cards bottomed out in value. For the record I'm a lifelong baseball card collector, with way too many cards from the 80s. If your interested in cards, keep them around, there are always fond memories when I pull my cards back out! P.s. Uncut sheets can be more valuable but it's all based on which individual cards are in the sheet. Also, don't let the general value of 80s cards discourage you, there are several exceptions to the rule!
  16. The only problem I see here is we may have a flood of new topics. Some members like to see their name as the starter of a popular topic. The CMF topics always garner tons of comments in the end so someone might just start 3 new topics, one for each CMF series we know is coming that year. It could be quite cluttered if they let every thread stand.
  17. I just finished this build on last week and loved it! The design is great, really captures the essence of the tower without too many pieces (driving the price up).
  18. I just now noticed that the pizza man has braces, great addition to the collection!
  19. Hopefully we have enough to start a modified version of the game...I'm ready for this one!
  20. I loved this set, one of those little indulgences between bigger buys.
  21. It's what happens once all the big new breaks but everyone is still waiting for the actual product. There is very little to discuss so we all just speculate and debate the little things. I can't wait for the series though, most every figure is a must have!
  22. 11) eurotrash (1votes) 136) spaceySmoke (3 votes) 104)Beaver (1 votes) 58) Searcon and Coral (3 votes) 29) mndgam (1 vote) Well done all!
  23. While I'm not a fan of the game, I gotta admit that these were done right. The tools look tremindeous! Also, they managed to make both sets filled with unique pieces, very little overlap.
