We gotta make this right so here's what I know: Day 1: I investigated Monty using a one off ability for answering the trivia question, he came up as town. Additionally, I watched speedy who was visited by Mencot (town). I messaged Mencot about it and he told me the cop found speedy to be town. Day 2: I watch myself to no avail but I am also safe due to answering that day's question correct. Monty and Spencer knew my intentions. Monty also told me Chris was clean. Day 3: I watched speedy to no avail. I couldn't get the code so I got no additional info. That's full disclosure as far a can think of. Hopefully, we can put this together quickly, 4 town left likely, so were running short on time.

Unless the wool is thoroughly over our eyes, this game should end tonight. Though I honestly hope it's not, I enjoy it too much and I'd love the extra challenge! Ok so at least 2 bad guys left, one confirmed scum voted for Monty, a now confirmed town from the investigation. Adrienne changed her vote at the last second to Monty which made her stand out. Her friends hid earlier. Boris (bob) voted at the beginning, the first to vote for Monty. Normally, this isn't the scummiest thing to do, but I now wander considering Adrienne's last second vote change. Was she trying to join a scum wagon she'd been told to pull for? Sorry, I should have been more specific, I mean recent history. Last time it happened was like the mid 90s I think. Also, with the scheduling being the way it is, the parity in the league is incredibly high. There have been a minimum of 4 new teams in every playoff for the past decade or more, or something to that effect.

Alright, I feel that it's time to change the nature of the game and get things rolling because this low-level squabbling is getting us nowhere. On day one I correctly answered the average depth of the submarine question and was given a one night only investigator ability. With it, I investigated Monty (mostlytechnic) who (to my complete suprise) came back as town. Unless the scum have some way of masking their identity, such as a one off ability, this investigation will have to go in another direction. Oh and scum, you can target me all you want, now that that ability is gone, I'm as vanilla as an ice cream.

I know silence isn't equivalent to scummy but I do wander why we've not heard from Christopher. He was reading this just a second ago and the left. It's hard to track scum when everyone is acting scummy. I'm still searching through the candidates, but I've got a pretty solid list going and I'll be sharing more soon.

You are right that we got lucky picking off a scum day 1, but even without a scum kill there is still info to be gotten. If we vote out a town member we know where possible scum are hiding and we have one less person for a vig to kill. Let's face it, if Jerry isn't voted out day one it's quite possible our vig kills him instead of Adrienne, thus wasting a valuable night action. I still hold that a day 1 hang is useful and generally needed, otherwise we'd all just sit the day out and wait for the scum to work.

While I respect your opinion I think I can clearly articulate why you are incorrect. Regardless of the logic Speedy presented regarding the scum never being so clumsy as to both change their vote at the last second. Regardless of the fact that I didn't want to hang Jerry as I felt he was town (spoiler: he was). Regardless of the fact that if I were scum I would have just rode a Jerry vote the whole time to fit in. Here's my real point, we do in fact need a day 1 hanging, otherwise an entire day of valuable voting data is lost. If we don't know who voted for (now confirmed) town and scum we would start day 2 at nearly the same place as day 1. So yes I did seal his fate, and yes it was against my conviction at the time, but what the alternative? Keep my vote the same, lose a hanging, and basically protect someone that a majority thought was suspicious? Jerry wasn't my first choice, but it needed done, and I just hope his loss can lead to the true spies.

It would have been poorly planned for the scum to vote for the same person early on when no one else had voted for Claire. Also note that very few others have drawn much attention. If my tally is correct, only 5 people have received any votes and Monty and Jerry dominated the day 1 vote. I know it's not much, I'm just trying to get day 2 rolling. If I see anything else, I'll share it soon. I'm still re-reading day 1.
