I think we've now revealed over half the costumes in some manner or another, doesn't this concern anyone else? -
Pelly's Paradise Day Two: Two Wild and Crazy Guys

Wow, what a weird night. I just got caught up. After reading through everything, I think this sums it up well. 4 kills would seem really excessive, so I'm inclined to think we have some well-played redirecting going on. Here's my current inclination, both tamamono and Brickelodeon are town leans. They've both put themselves far too out there...really risky territory for a scumo. So something has to give. Itd make sense that anyone with a redirect ability would target tamamono (guys, we've been a bit loose revealing roles I fear). Tamamono made no secret what his role was so scum could easily target it. I'm still puzzling over the cop result. Could be an insane cop, but I'm not convinced. Oh... -
There is absolutely no link between my role and costume choice...just sayin'.
-
If he died, then the hat dies with him. By declaring the role, he saves himself and the power role. Seems to me that his willingness to die has kept him alive. In my opinion, it seems this move could just as easily being a scum using his cards right. I'm just still skeptical...

Walter, don't get me wrong, that's not the reason I voted for you In fact, if I recall correctly I didn't point out your early PM as a reason for suspicion at all, I just wanted to be interest above board with our interaction. I actually prefer folks to PM, this game should be played on multiple layers and you've always opened lines of communication. All this stated however, my reasons for my vote still stand. I just can't escape this nagging feeling about you.
-
I agree with the logic stated here (see post #95 for the quotes being examined). Something has seemed off the entire day with Walter. He's been eager to accuse while Also trying to buddy up with those that start "barking up his tree" as seen below and pointed out by Brickelodeon. He also PMed me early on but there wasn't much that came from that. vote: the flash (Walter Kovacs) This vote is based strongly on a hunch, but that's more than I normally go off of on day 1.

So we know one suit and that should make the vig at least somewhat manageable, regardless of how it's handled. What do the other suits do? Previous parties of a similar nature have included: Bomb Thief Double vote Unkillable Quicksilver (I don't know this role. mafiascum, here I come) Doctor Watcher Flavor cop Tracker Etc. I tried naming all the major roles, there are quite a few. I think it's safe to speculate that at least the majority of the above are involved in this situation.

Well, there is nearly always a godfather, so on one hand we have to account for that. But we also can't let that fear totally destroy the chance of a town block. It's unlikely the godfather is investigated on night one, but I'll leave those choices to the discretion of the investigator. We can either play the vig a few different ways. 1) lynch the first person who goes for vig-im against this. In the end it'll be assigned to someone anyway. 2) someone claim vig and use it at their own discretion. 3) the vig kills whoever the town votes for them to kill-I rather like this one.
-
Wow, so to clarify, you've just claimed vig, just like that? I was all for those who were lynched to reveal their role, but this is unprecedented. Oh well, the die has been cast, this could really change the game.
-
I'm pretty sure we can PM each other, we just can't quote the PMs we receive from the host. The real disadvantage for town is that the scum have an estimated 5 players, and therefore figure out what 5 costumes do every night. So we should expect that by day 3, the scum team will be zeroing in on certain costumes. Whoever gets the investigator role had better start building a town block pronto, were gonna need it.
-
I agree with this thinking 100%...except... I'm just wondering, in this type of game, do we have more than usual night roles? Remember, a constume dies with its owner, so a lynch does more than remove a player.

Precisely. I had originally used my full name as my screen name, but didn't think that was too responsible of me. The powers that be understood and granted my request. But they do use the power sparingly, lest they be overran with requests.

Da da da daaaaaa, da da daaa! Indiana Jones checking in from (ironically) Indiana. Now pardon me while I grab this perfectly safe idol... -
At first, I thought this was all a funny I love DisneyTMTM!brickmario loves DisneyTM!, but then I found this terribly convincing picture on the internets machine. Clearly, Lego is creating a DisneyTMTM line for minifigures, further validating the validity of this story. Edit: this filter has gotten hilarious! I love DisneyTM!!

Finally! You know, I was getting tired of the old site and I was actually considering leaving...but this! What a change! Let's be honest, Lego has gotten old. How many times can they resurrect a theme?? What, are we on are 12th castle theme now? The folks that were running Lego were running it alright...straight into the ground! But now DisneyTM....now there's a company with some creativity! Why, DisneyTM has been coming up with new ideas since the 1930s! Can Lego say that?! (Rhetorical question. I got my first Lego set in 1994, so clearly Lego didn't exist in 1930...duh!) I can't wait to see what DisneyTM has in store for Lego's new direction. Personally, I'm looking forward to more kid friendly sets. I've had enough with adults infringing I a kids toy. You don't see adults with Hot Wheels, so why do they have legos??! It's rediculous! Second, I hope DisneyTM cleans up this website. Frankly, (and I didn't want to say this before the sale) this website had gotten a little...out of control. I've seen several posts with explicit language, inuindoes, and even MOCs that depict violence. Thankfully, that can finally come to a halt. Lastly, (and I hope I'm not being too rude) DisneyTM should step in and remove some members, if they need suggestions I'll be happy to help. The new ownership is a great opportunity to clean house and get rid of some of the more bothersome folks around here. The bickering needs to stop and there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. So I want to formally say, thank you DisneyTM. You have saved this site and, quite possibly, Lego! I can't wait to see what type of kids friendly sets you have to offer. No more evil bionicle, witchcraft ninjas, or extremist Knights. Now we can finally do what we've always wanted, play with Snow White! In closing, I'll never forget this day! My calendar will always be circled in the brightest of colors to commemorate the day that Lego was saved, April, firs...ooooohhhhhh. Never mind.

Discussion Should LEGO make a Military Theme?
jluck replied to KisKatona's topic in Special LEGO Themes
^apparently... This conversation just won't die. -
I explained in back on page 1. Basically, the host PMed me saying I was currently slated to die but that could change so I went into "spread confusion" mode. I tried to prevent the kill by claiming the bomb part (it worked on the vig) and wanted to implicate oak that were in contact with me. It worked somewhat, dragonfire was killed soon after (sorry dragonfire). Basically, I knew I was about to die, knew I'd be janitored, and figured I should spread some confusion.
-
I said in the dead board early that if hinckley was the SK, then he'd played the greatest game I've ever seen so...hinckley well done. I figured I'd clear my name regarding the crazy day 3 claims. Due to the scum having a janitor, we got the list of targets before the day was posted. Walter PMed me that I was the current target, but things could change. I figured I'd spread as much confusion as I could, and possibly make a last ditch effort to change folks minds. It almost worked as I learned on the dead board that the vig changed his target. But with hinckley trying to target the same person as the vig, I died anyway. My plan worked somewhat though, as it made all oak in contact with me look scummy (sorry to dragonfire for that, it was all part of the game )
