I've played awful, so there's no use hiding it. Im scum If there is a traitor this game, follow this link: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?app=members&module=messaging§ion=send&do=form My name may be under jluckhaupt or Jluck. I changed it a few months back. You have around 4 hours so hurry. Wouldn't you like to know

The only reason I'm saying this is cuz I'm gonna die today and when I turn up town tomorrow I want you to look long and hard behind the curtain, so to speak.

Well, can't say I didn't see this coming. But I must say I'm disappointed that everyone went with the easy way just because pudding says so. Why are we all trusting him again?? I wanted to post this early but feared the kickback from pudding, but seeing how pudding is running the show, I saved the post in case it came to this. When I reread day 1 this interaction bothered me, I have nothing to lose now so I might as well say it. 8 minutes later Pudding-head references a much older post by Lambi. Lambi’s response is, shall we say, weak at best. There are several noncommittal statements and it doesn’t seem to go anywhere. But pudding head basically lets him off the hook by redirecting the conversation onto brand and tarden. In fact, it’s seems to me that even though the main controversy was between brand and tardin, somehow pudding head was in the middle of it all the whole time, driving the chaos.

Ya, it's when I'm on my mobile. When on my iPad it's regular.

Im sorry I haven't given this game the attention it deserves, this week has been hectic. I will try my best to explain my thinking, but I tried earlier and I am under the impression it won't clear much for you. When the day started I saw a scum died and assumed vig and assumed the other kill must be the scum kill. Pudding is right, I've played a lot in the past year but I am being completely straight forward when I say I totally forgot about the SK. I know it's unacceptable and people have been lynched for much less, it's just what happened. I have no excuse. After I made that initial observation I reread the day 1 thread and noted tarbens vote, I got a town read from this post and thought others should at least see my line of thought. I could have remained quiet and safe on the topic, but that does not advance the game. There isn't much more I can say to defend myself, the truth is what it is. With the candidates we have today (myself included) I still feel cranebeinn is the best choice. He's been incredibly scummy since the beginning and it keeps getting worse. If he comes up as town, turn on me. If he's scum, you can reevaluate your opinion of me. It's two birds with one stone. I've given you the truth, I'm sorry I'm not actively responding to your allegations, I'll try to check back in tonight when I get home. Congrats

I'm sorry I've been out all day, I've had family business that couldn't be helped. Reading through, I do want to comment on some things. I know several people are bothered that I stated I had a town read on Tarben, even suggesting I shouldn't have shared it. But from the evidence I saw, that's what I felt. Everyone has their own opinion on folks, I have town reads on some, scum reads on others, and a whole bunch of neutrals. I say when I think someone is scum. I also say when I think someone might be town. Speaking of someone I think I'd scum, cranebeinn has been at the top of my list since he started, but today he just decided to put another nail in the coffin so to speak. Given that I'll be extremely busy this weekend ahead, I'm gonna go ahead and get this out there. vote: Cranebeinn (chromeknight) I wanted to take fresh look at him today, but that just pushed me more firmly into my opinion. I just saw I was beaten to the punch as I was posting.

Say what you guys want, my job is simple. Look at the evidence and try to get reads on every player. One day down, 3 results received, i want to start advancing the game. I'm not defending tarben, just giving my views from day one. If we can't attempt to make assumptions based on players actions then why are we even here?? You can look at the same stuff I did and form your own opinion, that's your job. My job is to make the most informed decision based on my interpretation of the given data. I could sit idly by and wait for someone to start a bandwagon, but I'd prefer advance this game beyond a game of follow the leader. And speaking of follow the leader, are people already claiming to pudding?

I need to clarify, when I saw that scum was killed I immediately assumed it was a vig kill. At the time I didn't even think about a SK, but an SK seems to be much more logical. I still contend that patrekr was the scum kill though. It seems unlikely that the scum wouldn't kill on the first night and they clearly didn't target Lambi so that doesn't leave many options. I saw a little bit from day one I wanna bring up, give me a minute to sit down and put it together. Ok, first imo I think this puts Tarben in a very positive light. "You could be scum - that's likely You could also be town - that's likely too" :skeptic: Vote: Lambi (TheLazyChicken) This is most likely a scum strategy to seem helpful while not saying anything. I don't really think Mist is scum. I mean, she could be, but if she is I don't think that what she said is a scumtell, is what I mean. It seems like she was just doing what she usually does, and I hate to metagame, but it's really not that odd. I know the fact that he voted and then changed has been well documented, but this was just the 4th vote placed yesterday. Also, he blatantly called Lambi scum. It seems to me that if we're a scum teammate, he wouldn't have been so harsh so early when the lynch was yet to be determined. Also, he didn't know Lambi would be killed on night one so he would have had very little to gain with such a strong accusation if he were scum. I know I'm making assumptions with this, and remember this is simply my opinion, but that's the way I currently see things.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
jluck replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think they've been made in China for quite awhile now. -
Gotta disagree here. You've played enough to know that most lynches, especially day 1, turn up town. Of course there were a lot of votes on him, he was lynched so by definition lots of folks voted for him... Are you feeling the need to defend your vote?
-
The night kill was incredibly bold, I was the vig last game and tried a night 1 kill and basically screwed it up. To the information at hand: I don't think many people are surprised with the brand being loyal revelation, that's pretty typical of a day 1 lynch. The killing of Patrekr seems to be a pretty typical scum kill too, he was relatively quiet during the first day. I've gotta go back to day 1 to view this exchange. My day was dominated with keeping up with the Brand argument and arguing with Cranebeinn. Certainly any interaction with a confirmed scum should at least be looked at. We've got quite a gift to start out day 2. Yeah, lambi's vote confuses me. Why not just hop on the wagon or vote for one of the promising side candidates, such as Mist or Cranebeinn. His vote really made him stand out a bit. However, tarben is correct in noting that scum often pick on the quiet ones in order to appear active and "townie". Maybe he thought it would just be more suspicious to change that late in the day. With a confirmed scum already, day 1 posts could really be useful. Im heading back...

While your giving etymology lessons, you might give one on the word accept. When you messaged me you said you accepted me as town, not you believed I was town. but you oh so clearly did change the meaning! Let's look again at what was said... Bwhahahahahaaaaaaaa! Oh. Man. Bestest reason ever! Fixed. You had to deliberately go into the quote and remove what I said from the middle. Now you're defending yourself by saying that you "didn't change the meaning of my comment" but you so clearly did! My vote was based on the message I received and what felt like fishing. The signature comment was added so you'd think to do it (and it worked, thanks ). Others recognized this: Note: emphasis added by me. This all seems pretty clear to me, but maybe I'm missing something obvious. If anyone needs me I'll be in bed, seems like the lynch is a lock anyway.
-
So is that it? 4 votes still haven't been cast, but from the looks of the conversation (or lack thereof) everyone seems to be pretty content with letting this lynch ride.
-
Don't be fooled. Cranebeinn the Redder changed my quote in a very manipulative way. Look what I said: I'd already made my argument against him in post 205, which I will gladly quote if anyone is too lazy to go back and read. The signature is clearly not the reason I voted him, it was just a reminder for him. But look what he quoted: Bwhahahahahaaaaaaaa! Oh. Man. Bestest reason ever! Fixed. Don't you see what he did?! He completely changed my quote making it look like I voted for completely different reasons than I did!! He even took out the word "and" to make it look like this was the only reason I gave! You can't honestly be ok with this.
-
You missed one in post 224. Add mine to it. vote: Cranebeinn the Redder (chromeknight) For the suspicions I gave in post 205...and because he doesn't have his name in his signature On a day when I think our lynch is more convenient than convincing, Cranebeinn's actions are more akin to what I'd expect scum to be doing day one.
-
Ok, here's what I been thinking about. Yesterday you may recall that Cranebeinn the Redder made a slight accusation towards me being the serial killer. Being day 1, this accusation was as well founded as any other so it doesn't bother me much. Later he posted this when asked if he still held those views: This was all good. Early acusasions are essential to monitor how people react and he seemed to analyze the results properly. Here's what I didn't like. Last night after the initial accusation seemed to fizzle out he messaged me apologizing for the accusation. There was no need for this as everyone accuses early on but I appreciate the gesture. But in the message he stated something along the of that he was going to accept me as town (not a direct quote by I invite Cranebeinn to correct me if I changed the meaning). As I mentioned above, the only people who know who is town and who isn't are the corrupted, so I was really bother by his willingness to accept me as town. I actually told him as much, at which point he adjusted his initial comment by saying he might accept me but it doesn't mean he trusts me. I responded that it was fair enough and that has been the extent of our conversation. Now this isn't the worlds biggest ping, I'm just bothered by his willingness to call me town simply because I held up under the "weight" of his accusation. I figured I'd present it to the rest of you once I got ahold of my computer. As for this whole current line of voting, does anybody get the feeling that this would be far to bold of a mistake for scum on day 1? That's why I'm searching a bit more in the shadows. And Cranebeinn if I've misrepresented our conversation in any way, please correct me. I'd hate for this to go the way of the earlier PMs simply because two people read the same words and saw different things.

Hey guys, I've been out all day, but I have something I wanna bring to the table. Gimme a second to read a few things. Actually, from my experience I find that scum are the only ones to defend townies on day one. They know they're defending a townie and if that townie turns up dead they look better for it, at least that's how I've always approached it when playing as scum.
-
It's possible there's a recruit who doesn't know the rest of the team, not uncommon in large games. It'd just be uncommon for them to fish this early.
-
Weird, but it seems way too bold, especially for an experience comrad. The odds would be stacked against him for finding a corrupted one that early. Just seems weird.
-
Huh... Well, I'll tell ya what Cranebeinn, if it makes you feel any better, I'll give you my personal assurance that I am town. I'm super town even! So now that you know for a fact that I'm town, you can rest easy.
-
Felt like it last time I took this journey. As I recall we travelled to a place called Main Street. What was it, 4 days and 4 successful scum kills??
-
If we must embark on one last adventure, I can't think of any group I'd like to be with. The years have been kind to me, but I fear they are winding down. Let's waste no time, I would love to see the old lands one last time.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
jluck replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Ya, I think if this series is truly happening it'll be a bit more coherent. I doubt we'll get characters from Pixar, current Disney, and classic. If I had to guess id say it'll be Disney classics, such as the Pinocchio that I posted earlier from Alexander's (?) designs.- 4,155 replies
