  1. I love how cute the spaceship is! It seems a little chubby for the doors however My one suggestion would have been to add more small containers because at the moment there are a lot of studs. Either way nice scene!
  2. The building looks great and so do the storage/engine looking things to the side as well. I love the mental image of stormtroopers having to jump over a snarky astromech droid during some foot chase
  3. I like how diverse the scene is! The walrus oddly works for it! I think my one suggestion is if you're going to add a microscale ship you need to make sure it reads that way to people who have no idea what it is. Right now it looks sort've like its a store window display, perhaps if you used a black background just behind the ship and the windows it would work better? Great story! Always like to see character development!
  4. Nice I prefer the new rebel much more, the old one was a little distracting
  5. I like the goggles on the rebel naval helmets plus that first rebel's facial expression is hilarious. Good story! I look forward to future installments!
  6. I decided to watch Return of the Jedi before heading to work. Besides the Ewoks such an awesome movie, especially the lightsaber duel between Vader and Luke!
  7. On this May the Fourth, let us all take a moment to remember the Imperial lives lost in the BSness that were the Ewoks in the Battle of Endor.
  8. That worries me to lol
  9. Baboom, You're correct sir!
  10. Worst case scenario and it is perhaps the minifigures will be a billion times better? Really what makes Assault on Hoth not work is that the individual models are all incomplete. If the Death Star did the same thing but included finished and well built models it wouldn't be a total loss. Then again it would barely be a UCS.
  11. Haha well the way I look at it is this wasn't more expensive then the Imperial carrier set but here I at least get a bunch of the updated classic stormies
  12. Since i'm not buying any of the summer or spring waves I didn't mind doing It but in all, these cost around $130 off bricklink.
  13. Someone just posted a link on the 2016 rumors thread thats usually just above (or below) this one.
  14. Well it's curious they put it in a book. Right now it feels like if you want a full Encounter on Jakku, you need that plus this book and Rey's speeder. I don't dislike that tactic on TLG's part as it's reminiscent of the original Jabba's Palace, but I feel they could've released the sets and figure better. In a more conjoined period of time.
  15. Contest just got even better, sweet!
  16. What an awesome idea for a competition! I'm in 100% but now I just have to figure out my favorite obscure Star Wars reference.
  17. Brickset just published a review of Unkarr's Brute that's exclusive to the Lego Star Wars Chronicles of the Force Book. As it turns out a pretty cool figure, in fact I would say a lot more interesting then the Unkarr thug we got in Rey's Speeder.
  18. A CMF figure is no more a waste then the exclusive polybags TLG does that only a tiny portion of the world's Lego fans can get. FO General, Stormtrooper sergeant, and the like. Star Wars is the undisputed ruler of having a plethora of background characters, ones that will absolutely never appear in a set. Not only that but CMF givers the opportunity for figures we already have with more printing such as stormtroopers with arm and hip printing. This line can also be used for R&D for future sets that they don't know if they want to commit to Remember the lousy stormtroopers from the endor battle pack? Or how the sand troopers from the same here have leg printing that don't match modern stormtroopers? This series could potentially avert such issues improving figures for sets.
  19. Theres so many fascinating costumes and characters we have never gotten that could be fleshed out in at least one or two CMF lines. New molds could be used to supplement future sets and honestly SW sales wouldn't hurt at all since the line would probably be ridiculously popular. If the micro fighter line hasn't hurt main sales a series half the price would not. Besides this could be TLG's answer to Bricklink. I just dropped my $200 lego budget for most of the year on brick link to build my rebel and imperial armies. That's money Lego was not going to get on sets anyways that could have easily gone to them instead if they had a CMF. Minifigures could include recent ones previously released that will never be in a set again. For instance the Naboo Guards. Or from series that Lego is never going to return to like the Clone Wars. Variants of previous figures such as Imperial Officers with different rank pips or various rebel officers. The May 4th figure is a prime example that Lego seems to not care about how small a background character. The series could work if done right (I mean obviously that's true of anything ) which would most likely be supplementing the sets.
  20. 2016 will be remembered as the year with a horrible UCS set (hopefully DS makes up for it) and an equally disappointing May the 4th figure but a fantastic store exclusive (Escape the Space Slug.) Does the Escape from the Space Slug even count as an actual set with the 2016 lineup or is the set it's own special entity?
  21. Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka Episode XI: Escape from Kuat [i wrote a slightly longer intro then normal so I feel it's appropriate to put in spoilers for those who don't care to read it. If you wish to see the full MOC scroll to the bottom and open the spoiler comment beneath "Behind the Scenes"] "Forward men, wipe them out! Show no quarter, we only need the stolen equipment!" "Hold the line!" "They're hiding behind the Republic vehicl-Ahhhh!" "Hold still i've got you!" "How are the engines coming Takasa?" "Almost done!" "Hurry your megablocks, the Imps aren't going to sit around politely waiting for you to finish!" "You there, Bith, what's your name Forresto have you been able to hack into the database yet?" "Bleep bloop beep beep!" "No sir, sorry sir, these Imperial encryption codes are much harder then I anticipated. We'll have to take the mainframe with us!" "Fine! We'll just bring this and the Imp officer we caught back to command!" "Done sir!" "Engines are warming up! Orders sir?" "Finally! Come on people we ARE leaving! Takasa, Forresto get that thing on board! We'll cover you!" "Of the 60 troops that came to this rock, we left with five. We completed our mission successfully and yet I cannot get the taste of defeat, and loss of life, out of my mouth." Behind the Scenes: Episode List:
