There is one positive we can all glean from this and feel about. There is no actual way TLG could make a worse SW set then this one. Continue a trend, god forbid, sure but this is what I think rockbottom looks like. Hopefully with enough flak and poor sales they will learn their lessons and never try something like this again. That being said I feel bad for the designer. I have a feeling he was given this assignment and didnt know what to do with what he had. I will give him leeway for a mistake here because he is responsible for the incredible Slave I UCS.

My favorite as well! As a kid it was just so different and cool. I just wish the prequels had brought us more diversity in lightsaber hilt shapes.

Do people think that the UCS Assault on Hoth has destroyed our chances of ever seeing a UCS AT-AT? I can't remember off the top of my head but I thought the rumors were pointing to a June release?

I read the Brickset review for the same reason for the same reason I read Lords of the Sith. You know how it's going to end, Vader and Palpatine are obviously not going to die and the set's going to stay god awful, but you read to see the horror show of the carnage that ensues. (BTW that is not a spoiler for the book. If you don't know Palpatine and Vader make it until Return of the Jedi then you're most likely in the wrong forum.)

So i'm not sure if this counts as updating or just a purist mod. I used the Clone commando battle pack kama to give Darth Vader his skirt. I personally think it adds a lot to the already amazing figure.

That's awesome well they have no reason to not do a dual molded C3-PO since printing doesn't seem to be an issue.

Shadows of Nal Eurbrikka Freebuild 02: Massacre on Fondor For seven years both brothers Forresto and Dann hopped from planet to planet scrounging and scavenging to survive while keeping a low profile. Seven years of attempting to recover a sense of normality in the wake of the Imperial invasion that devastated their homeworld Clak'dor VII and ensuing Imperial quarantine. The brothers went from Tatooine to Eriadu to Taris until eventually they arrived on Fondor, easily finding work as civil engineers. Homesick, torn from their family, both brothers find some contentment in having obtained the semblance of living again. Forresto and Dann plan urban development, chart travel routes, and keep their assigned sectors running at peak efficiency for the next five years. Within these five years Forresto witnesses the Empire strengthen it's position on Fondor, a world that has become host to a major Imperial shipyard. Unfortunately with the Empire taking control of the shipyards, jobs that would normally go to alien workers are being given to humans. Families that have lived on Fondor for generations and who belong to long lineages of dock workers are suddenly out of a job, permanently. Those who openly protest are either silenced or disappear so no one fights back. However without jobs many begin to starve and grow discontent and yet no one openly complains. Civil War! Try as the Empire might to prevent the news from spreading, their efforts fail as a damaging report reaches most of Imperial space including Fondor. Over the course of a few days the Empire destroyed the planet of Alderaan for being a hotbed of rebellion, and in retaliation the rebels managed to destroy a massive Imperial Space Station. Billions murdered, and the Empire lost around a million personnel. For the first time faith in the invincibility of the Imperial war machine has been shaken in the populace's view, especially those from worlds facing the Emperor's oppression. A Duro priest by the name of Rayor Zees believes these two events are a sign of a greater movement. Having faith in the compassion of fellow sentients he leads a large mass to petition the Imperial Governor. When there is no response he decides a peaceful march on the Imperial Headquarters and demonstration is the only way to bring attention to his fellow sentient's problems. Forresto and Dann, while on a surveying mission, encounter the scene as it unravels. 1 ABY: Imperial Military Headquarters on Fondor "Leftenant Commander what is the meaning of this?" "Commander Telzin, it would appear to be a mob sir." "I can see that but for what reason are these...things standing collected out here?" "Attention all aliens and other disgusting non-human life forms, you will vacate the surrounding area immediately. This is Imperial property and you will make way or face severe consequences!" (Collected shouts and curses in a plethora of languages) "I will repeat my previous instruction. Disperse immediately and you will be allowed to return to your homes. Dare to not heed my warning and you will never see home again! I will not repeat myself again." "Commander we are here on a mission of peace to discuss certain issues with the governor, as is our right according to the Imperial Senate's third-." "Leftenant Commander, Seargent, fire upon the crowd at will." "Sir?" "You heard the commander fire!" "Platoon fire at will!" The massacre rages on for another twenty minutes as three thousand protesters are killed in cold blood. Stormtroopers hound the retreating demonstrators through the streets, bringing hundreds back as captives, most likely to be sold off world as slave labour. "Dann hurry there's still wounded that need our help!" "I hate them Forresto! All of them! For this! For home, for everything!" "Maybe with the rebels pulling off that win there might still be hope." "I'm going to join up. I'm going to make them pay for everything they've done." "I know brother, but even then are they any better? They killed a million people, all this violence, war...none of it is good." "Peace is the only way..." Behind the Scenes: Previous Episodes: Episode 1: The Sacking of Clak'dor VII

If they can do triple molded legs for a five dollar collectible mini figure (the actual mini figure theme) then they can definitely do so for a several hundred dollar set. However to anyone's knowledge has there been even a dual molded leg that has also had printing on it as well? IF not that could be problematic. I would really love to see that however.

Love the bar, there's some really nice building techniques going throughout. The benches, the bar itself, very well done. I like the story and photo angles as well! -

Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement! I will definitely be continuing the story in light of all this positive feedback -
That rebel is a traitor and a disgrace to the firebird, you can keep 'em. That being said I like your story and the MOC, especially the interrogation droid! It cracks me up that you're wearing a cowl but it works for the scene considering you're torturing the poor guy!

Awesome scene! You really hit the head on the nail with the crowd. The scene looks lively and there's obviously a strong Imperial presence, which of course makes sense considering this is Kuat. My favorite part has to be the cockpit and front end of that spaceship, so slick. The back of it is a little plain but the front more then makes up for it.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game Discussion
Forresto replied to npgcole's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Or that's possibly a cutscene and the animated parts have different models? Still I would love to see that as an actual gun. Even if they made the gun white and printed it black.- 201 replies

So I was perusing Wookiepedia and I ended up reading about the HAVw A6 Juggernaut (AKA Turbo Tank). I failed to fully comprehend how massive that thing is, it actually makes the real name make more sense. I understand Lego has a price point and all, but just like the AT-AT, TLG's version is seriously undersized. As far as i can tell the one thing that could use a lot of improvement in regards to accuracy are the wheels. The main tank hull is fine the way it is in the set but the wheels are disproportionately small compared to the vehicle. The Turbo Tank is a tall thing, Lego's makes it appear squat.

So i'm a massive Game of Thrones fans, the show though not the books so I guess i'm that sort've plebe. I've seen GoT mocs on Eurobricks before so i've thought that there has to be a dedicated thread to the show, especially given how popular it is. Apparently there isn't so I thought why not start one. With the recent start of season 6 what better timing is there? I'm just going to make a simple rule of the thread. If what you're saying is a spoiler put the text in spoiler tags. If it's not and just an opinion or commentary on how you felt about the episode in a way that doesn't reveal plot points then you obviously don't have to. I personally would say this rule only applies to the current season but if there are a bunch of people who aren't caught up then it can be extended. Anyway enough about rules, this is such a great show onto the discussion! Warning Possible Spoilers Ahead! I thought the opening episode, The Red Woman was very interesting. Ser Davos continues to be one of my favorite characters.

It's excellent, especially the new Darth Vader! Pictures really don't do the set justice. I think it's just a little bit overpriced by maybe 10 or 15 dollars, like all the current sets, but after building it I have no regrets. It has a great mini figure selection and it's a good display set.

Holy Great Googly Moogly! Never did I imagine that a month or so ago when you posted the bridge that this masterpiece was going to be the end result! That is not a critique of the bridge, I love the design and how compact it is, but going from that to this blows my mind. The control room is perhaps my favorite aspect of the interior with all of the subtle techniques you used but all of it is so well done. You've won the rights to all Star Destroyer MOCs forever! I have never seen any other MOC of the ship quite like this. Well done.

A seriously under appreciated movie. For some reason my friends and I are the only people in the world to have enjoyed it for what it is
