  1. Wow Gideon, how did you get this through customs? Hope you didn't have to go through Frankfurt on the way back because they are the worst.
  2. I accidentally bumbed into a Lego rep today who was checking all toystores in town on the same path that I usually take. He was asking the clercks for customer feedback so we ended up talking for about 15 minutes. To make a long story short, he was dead sure that there will be no more LOTR wave to come. I'm really sad now.
  3. Dwarves are awesome! I'm still compiling my dwarven army and have now 15 of them vs 8 Shraliek. Smells like battle if you ask me!
  4. kayne, that sounds really interesting. Definetely something we should look into. I realy like how GoH thriving these days. Everything is much more diverse than in book I. And builind is constantly becoming better!
  5. Funny comic! I also like how you included several official Lego buildings to your scene, but gave them a very unique touch. Cool stuff!
  6. I'd say that it depends on the size, or maybe if you made it modular.
  7. Since it's my topic I'd say stay here, as it gets more attention this way.
  8. GER - US one - nill. I guess we can all live with that (except for the Portugeses I'd say) ! See you in the finals amigos!!

A really amazing ship, can't wait to see it for real at the BMA!
  10. Check out the Landscapes of Mitgardia community build (still going on). Maybe you find some interesting inspiration there.
  11. Simon and Torgar forgot were the are coming from, someone take off those Mitgardian shields from them ...
  12. Amazing build and interesting story. I'm glad you found your way into GoH, albeit the wrong team ...
  13. Nice build Simon, although Football in the middle ages was usually played on a field between two villages and was a rather bloody affair How could you possibly dare saying this in an international forum? Football is life (outside the US)
  14. Gee, we aint no computers pal! As for your question, as much as I like your ship, I'd say that you could enter with your latest wip. Some poeple have already voted, otherwise I wouldn't have had a problem with it, as I really liked your ship! But hey, I didn't make the deadline for challenge three either, although my ship was just a couple of hours aways from being done.
  15. thanks for the offer, we may have to come back to it!
  16. Great stuff, glad you could kick out those nasty darklings!
  17. hehe fun story and thanks for having me over at the party! However, I doubt I would have ordered Pizza ... eyn mal frietjes met mayo! (please correct the spelling if you like)
  18. Gee, I totally forgot to enter my entries here, so there we go Cat A Cat B there are exceptions to this rule though! As for a war us against the rest of the guild, I wonder why we would have to do that? On the other hand, I couldn't possibly see how we could devide Mitgardia into two different fractions our main strength always having being unity! Us against the rest? I hope not, but let's see what the guild leaders will come up with.
  19. sorry kern, hope I didn't offend you. Guess I had two beers too much into when I posted this. Anyway, this was my first thought when I saw this and it was meant to express my high regards for this awesome layout. Any plans to exhibit it publicly? And, would you be interested in joining me on a trip to Antwerpen in the fall?
  20. Sorry for my random posting these days. But I've just had three extended weekends after another so I had to take the family out kayaking, stuff like that needs to be done too!
  21. I'm surprised at how much attention this little build got as the only thing I really pondered here was the cart. The tree was actually put together in a matter of minutes. @kai: thanks for all those interesting suggestions, I will see how I can build a better cart next time I'm doing one. BTW, I have no clue what's gonna happen to Grimmson on his way to Mitgardia but I'm up for suggestions! Maybe some sort of collab?
  22. Thanks guys, glad you all like the house so much. It's actually sort of a mix of several house building techniques I've come up while participating in GoH, nothing here is now. So for me it's more or less the sum of my GoH story, in a small way. I'm just glad we have forests in southern Mitgardia too as I've really gotten into building forest scenes.
  23. Awesome entry Kayne. As you can imagine I really like those ships, but the water has turned out absolutely beautiful. I wasn't quite sure when I saw the wip, but this is really cool!
