Yes - I read Conchas post... Just wanted to give some information about where to start because unsing the same chipset could be easier than using a different linux driver. But as far as I checked the dongles they are all not very small either, so the Netgear Mini or Edimax with a different driver needs to be added.

MICRO SD The microSD-slot as no spring mechanism...and the housing mold of the EV3 seemed to be created for children fingers...so yes - it's not perfect for AFOLs WIFI The mentioned ath9k_htc linux driver supports dongles with chipset AR7010 and AR9271. Here is a list of known devices: wireless.kernel.org And here is the wiki-entry about that driver which shows this list of know ( and hopefully working ) devices: USB: 040D:3801 VIA Technologies, Inc. Hi, adverts at the airport are one of the most expensive kind of promotion. So why not helping LEGO by selecting an incredible eye catching suitcase from travelmate in screaming yellow and get yourself a LEGO sticker ?! I just did: P9120004 by gerkenz, on Flickr For now I hope to pick up my luggage even quicker than before.

Now I don't have any BT problems anymore. Strange.... I've tested a micro size EDIMAX Wifi dongle with no luck. I had a look at the EV3 Linux Armstrong sources and it should be possible to enable that one for sure....but that would take some time and research to do. Maybe the LEGO EV3 team will provide an update with more compatbibility soon. I don't want to have that ugly and big Netgear dongle in my EV3, too.

Why? - just call and ask what went wrong. I had some credit card problems before and after calling eveything went fine.
-
Good news everyone...my status just changed to "shipped"! So it was a good idea to place the order in the middle of the night.
-
Ok, I thought ... no ... don't wait like others for midnight to come...but now I am. ;-) 20:34 8:34pm and no sign of the set at S@H.

Sweeeet! Just found this thread with very cool pictures of minifigs in "real" world scenes. Now I have to take minifigs outside into the wild, too.

MOC: Nordertor Flensburg, Germany anno 1900
gerkenz replied to gerkenz's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks a lot. Yes it's still alive, but has an "architecture failure"-building on it's side today. -
Yes...that's the only colour change except the 2 round tiles with the adu stickers. Just check the pictures.
-
To change the color in the part list just change for all corresponding parts <COLOR>5</COLOR> to <COLOR>7</COLOR> and get the book from Megan.
-
Hi, I just finished my second version of the "Nordertor Flensburg". It's an old city gate of Flensburg, Germany. See more pictures and the first version on my flickr page. P5010005 by gerkenz, on Flickr P5010015 by gerkenz, on Flickr nordertor-1900 by gerkenz, on Flickr

Great set and great review! thanks! I would really like to know the release date in Europe/Germany because I don't know why we had a 5 month later release date as the USA had.
