  1. Or if you are a MOCer you can only see sets as large parts packs, and not the sets anymore.
  2. When I build, I have to have music playing. Just helps me focus on the build, can't watch TV, can't sit in the quiet and build.
  3. No real story behind it, I'm a collector, and I found it online. Glad everyone likes the MOC, I'm already thinking of doing another MOC along this style.
  4. Okay, thats very clever to photograph this upsidedown! Great work!
  5. Hello all of EB, I'd like to show you my latest MOC: Featuring a 1951 LEGO Wooden fire truck! I tried to blend the old with the new and to use the Oldest LEGO product I have with the current bricks we all love! This is the result: MOC: Forgotten Hero by ChrisR18t, on Flickr MOC: Forgotten Hero by ChrisR18t, on Flickr MOC: Forgotten Hero by ChrisR18t, on Flickr MOC: Forgotten Hero by ChrisR18t, on Flickr MOC: Forgotten Hero by ChrisR18t, on Flickr MOC: Forgotten Hero by ChrisR18t, on Flickr Comments welcome!
  6. I use this method. Plus I also have one bin for just the big ugly pieces, boat hulls, supports, BURPS, etc, etc.
  7. Kye33, I'd like to discuss price through PM, but since you do not have 10 posts, I cannot send you a message.
  8. Hey all! My car is in need of repairs, I need to sell a few things for some funding. FOR SALE! by ChrisR18t, on Flickr Also have, but not in a hurry to sell MISB a 10187 Volkswagen Beetle. PM me for info. A FEW THINGS I'm LOOKING FOR: Instruction booklets from 10177 Boeing Dreamliner Brickworld 2008 Minifig torso
  9. Here are a few of my bag builds: Friends Polybag, Built in the bag. by ChrisR18t, on Flickr Monster Fighters Ghost Built in the Bag by ChrisR18t, on Flickr The Friends polybag was awfully difficult once it came to putting the fig together since each body part is in it's own little baggie, but I did it some how.
  10. My cat doesn't care to play/sit/chew/etc with my LEGO. What she does like is the plastic baggies from the set because of the crinkly sounds they make, that and poking her head into the empty boxes.
  11. I can think of only two things that could improve the minifigure: One thing I am waiting for TLG to do is to print short sleeves of minifig arms, well this is not a big modification, but it would be nice to see figs that don't either have no sleeves or long sleeves, with printing/molding technology that TLG has, this should be easy to do. Two, Posable short legs, This would be cool to have the standard short legs, but that you can put the minifig in motion. Other than these two, I would not change anything on the current minifig.
  12. Attach Minifig to baseplate or stud, easy as that.
  13. I've pretty much been through it all with photo hosting sites. When I first started posting MOCs online I started with Brickshelf and Photobucket, later on I got onto MOCPages, and now I only use Flickr for my MOCs. I like the formatting of Flickr with the groups and ability to comment both below and on the photos, plus I use it for more than just LEGO too. MOCPages IMO seems to be less organized and has a younger audience and it is hard to sift through silly comments about a MOC or whatever. I just upgraded my Flickr to Pro and don't mind paying the small fee to host my photo's the quality of the site makes it worth it to me to pay.
  14. To everyone afraid of sun damage, A good solution is to tint your windows. It doesn't cost that much to do it yourself and if you get film that has UV block, it should help quite a bit.
  15. Looks to be G-Gauge 1:32
  16. Check out this thread, Its all you need to know about storage! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=26213
  17. Maybe. I used a various array of clips, none of these cars roll at all, static wheels, static positions.
  18. Adorable! "Schifo factory" I love all the MOCs you make and these are just great!
  19. Man, I gotta say, you Technic guys are really organized! Comparing these pics to some collections of us System guys, your sorting is great! Looking at my table, its no where near as sorted as some of your Technic collections.
  20. Thanks for the comments! I used a brass rod is the exact diameter as a LEGO rim, cut to size, beveled edge, polished, painted and the rim is pressed in, and a tire stretched over it. The number plate on the red Porsche is just Sharpie on a 1x2 tile, made to look just like this:
  21.
