    Thanks everyone! This was a fun build! I actually tried to make the hood studless, but I liked the look of the studs more, that's why I left them. Still makes the truck look like LEGO, versus a Matchbox car.

    This is my attempt at trying a different scale of MOCing. I wanted to test myself in how much detail I can cram into the smallest scale vehicle. I chose to do a semi truck because I figure it was the smallest vehicle I could make while still having lots of detail. The inspiration for this scale comes from a fellow NILTC member, Karl Paulsen, A.K.A. Eilif here on Eurorbricks, and his layout of mini scale town.     This layout was kind of the goal to see how far I can push the boundary of the Friend's/Elves themes! Turns out they can be quite a violent crowd!

    There are a couple variants of hair that I used from the Project Diva games that I felt that the hair piece was a good one to use. And thanks, it took me by surprise that I got my figure on TBB! Also, I went to a MikuEXPO as well! Best concert I have ever been to!

    Hey Thank you for the critique! Helpful advice! The Sleeve parts are actually electrical heat shrink wrap! I would have probably used that hair piece, but I didn't have one and I kinda didn't want to pay that much for a hair piece or two just to cut them up. The one I have on the figure, I have tons of them. Also, I was looking at using that skirt design, but I didn't like the final outcome of it. Plus the Nendoroid figure I was working off of had a more multi layer type skirt.

    Hi Customizers! I rarely do custom figures, but Miku was one that I had on my mind for quite a while that I needed to do. It was actually my first attempt at sculpting a custom hair piece, and of course, it was an incredibly tough one to make.     If I were to build a figure like that, I would have built a wooden base and have two wood posts going up the legs of the model, and just build around the wood. There would be no need for glue, and the model would still have a solid inner support and prevent it from tipping over.

    I have no shame when buying Friends sets. Perfect example was today. Went to the LEGO Store to just buy one thing, I could not pass up a sale on friends sets. by Chris Rozek, on Flickr Just Gotta walk up to the register with a big smile, and if they ask who the lucky girl is, I just said "It's for me!" Hahaha! I think I'll go back to the LEGO Store and clean them out of the rest of the friends sale stuff.

    I've used flick fires for axles and stuff that needs a technic and rod connection, they are actually kinda useful.

    I have a dollar amount in mind that is some wealthy person would come around and buy my collection is one swoop. I would sell it all. But to get rid of contact of the Lego community? No way in hell would I break contacts with the great people I've met because of Lego. If I were to lose contact with the people from my LUG, Flickr, and all the great people I've met at the AFOL events. Well, if I were to lose those contacts, I'd probably fall to depression. This hobby is probably the greatest thing to happen to me and I have many friends because of it! No price in the world could separate me from the AFOL community.
