  1. Haha! Been there, Done that. Lovely MOC, accurate to college life, well done!
  2. I would choose the LEGO 698 1:87 12 car set.
  3. I don't have an idea of cost since most of the bricks I already had in my bins and such. It was a about a 30 total hour build for the V from concept to the final model. It's about the same for the 4001.
  4. Hello all, I just finished up my latest build. It is a life size replica of a 1967 Gibson Flying V from the popular anime series FLCL! It is 100% LEGO, unglued, and strong enough to wear and hold by the neck! It is as strong as my blue Rickenbacker 4001 bass which some of you know was swung through Beth Weiss' Brickology LEGO tower at this past Brickworld with no damage! On to the pics! 5. You saw the pile I had at Brickworld... It is a whole lot more than a desk drawer.
  6. What I did is I picked a University that was close to home. I literally had walking distance to school and back from the comfort of my own home. I didn't have to leave anything behind.
  7. I love them all! All of them are very well built and detailed. I have to say though out of all of them, my favorite ones are the classic F1 cars and that Ariel Atom! Fantastic work to make the frame!
  8. If you build cars, they have loads of uses. I've used them for exhaust pipes, suspension components, axles and such.
  9. ...And do not forget Minifig Speed Building Champ. Eurobricks Member domination! Two years in a row! by ChrisR18t, on Flickr
  10. This is the first time I changed my Avatar since joining EB. All thanks to LEGO Friends. Eurobricks Friends Avatar by ChrisR18t, on Flickr
  11. Oh I have some awesome ideas already cooking up for this contest....hahahaha AHAHAHA!
  12. PRUNE FACE!!! Glad to see that you enjoyed Brickworld and joined EB! Welcome to EB!
  13. I was so happy to see everyone from EB and the LEGO community at Brickworld once again and have a contribution in this layout! Already bummed BW is over. It was a blast to talk to everyone and to see all the amazing creations!
  14. I'll swing by Woodfield on the way up to raid the PaB, not sure what time though, Maybe I'll bump into some of you there!
  15. All packed and ready to go! Packed for Brickworld! by ChrisR18t, on Flickr See you all there!
  16. Its coming down to the wire. I'm still waiting on a FedEx shipment (that was supposed to be here last week) to finish a few MOCs and I'll be done.
  17. I liked the Test, I got Purist MOCer. I agree with Cam that the test is not perfect, there should be some "none of the above" categories. For example ,the LEGO video games question, I do not play any of the LEGO games so I could not truly answer that one.
  18. I hope LEGO eventually will make those fender pieces in pink. I need those!
  19. !0. Ricecracker!
  20. I'm already in panic mode! still have loads of building, packing, and all. But I cannot wait to see everyone again!
  21. Not at all. On set boxes the ages say 10+ 14+ etc. The plus just means you can play with LEGO forever. Thats how I justify buying LEGO for myself. Someone: "Aren't you to old to still be buying LEGO?" Me: "Do you see this age range on the box? It says 10+! I am that plus!" Someone:
  22. Modulex fairs in the same manner as this too. Sometimes even new bricks (new old stock) are squeaky and grip very tightly together. When I build with Modulex I even have a pair or pilers to pull parts apart sometimes because the clutch power is that strong. I would not worry about the bricks clutching to hard, I have yet to see damage from older bricks cracking or warping from the clutch.
