  1. She is probably sitting inside on the rocker, and thats her grandson after spending a day at grandma's. Anyways, mtMOClug, your houses are very nice, especially the lime green!
  2. I had a blue repair garage built before, it is possible in some cases to pull of blue in realistic building, although difficult to get it to look right.
  3. Wow, you did the same thing I did! As soon as I saw the new Power Miners sets with the rollcages, I thought... "perfect for a fork lift!" I built one too, but your's looks better.
  4. Mmmm Chroooooome!! "I am Mr. Big, i love all things shiny, just look at my office!"
  5. Does it have to have only chrome? or can we include all colors of chrome LEGO like gold, green, etc?
  6. As long as there are no stickers, plain water and a soft toothbrush work well for dusty figs, mild dish soap with brushing might work for really dirty figs.
  7. Thanks for the comments everyone! Now, I just need to make like 30 more trees to put around my layout. Maybe I'll try a pine tree next.
  8. Oh, I hope Ferrari won't end soon. Some of you said that there is not much more they could do, I don't think so. LEGO can make classic Ferrari cars, how about a large scale 250GTO? Or a 330 P4 race car? What about classic Formula 1 cars? The famous 61' Ferrari 156 "Sharknose", F312T, F555, Dino156... Should I keep going? To me there is some serious potential still in the Ferrari line for Large scale cars. Same with Lamborghini, so far we are getting only the Gallardo. LEGO can still release the Miura, Countach, Murcielago, Reventon, Estoque, and the LM002 SUV.
  9. It is some what stable, if you are using it for display and have the box built on top, it will stay together pretty well. The front wheels do not roll since they are pressed into the faucet brick, so there is no playability. I've had no problems with mine, sometimes the front comes off when moving it around the desk, but it stays together for the most part. Hope that helped.
  10. Not P-shoped, Its seems to be a Store display Maxi-fig, very rare, very cool!
  11. after a bit of work and getting the tree trunks right... MOAR TREES!!!!!!!! The big oak: Bird house and hole in the trunk: smaller tree: the two together: small saplings: the whole forest!
  12. Built these a few minutes ago, Everyones favorite: Bottle rockets!!! Lighting one up with my LEGO lighter! Firecrackers!!!! hope you like!
  13. I ran out of 1x1 rounds, those are coming in a BL order... it needed a trunk and 1x1 brick is all i have for now. standard tree is what I was aiming for, just a filler for forests/ neighborhoods. ... I will try to do pine trees, oak, and other fancier trees, I am just trying for the first time to get the leaves looking right. haha, you saw the reflection on the desk, and yes OS X does rule! thanks for the comments. BACK TO THE BRICK CAVE!!!!!!
  14. well, I've started getting tired of the small one piece LEGO trees, so I figure I would start making more realistic and scaled trees. here is my first ever attempt: please please please tell me how I did! tell me if it looks horrible or if it looks fantastic!!!! I want to improve!!!
  15. ugh, I really need to find a better storage system... little plastic boxes everywhere, few drawer systems, unsorted bins, every table surface crammed with unsorted brick. *sigh, i really need to start sorting again.
  16. Secret project eh? ...anyhoo, make the station blue and black, it sounds interesting.
  17. yay! I'm an old race set!
  18. I just ordered a few from PAB online, I cant wait! ...and yes, caps are a bit over used, that is why you buy more hair pieces! from all my town figs, I have about 3/4 with hair and the other 1/4 various other headgear, (hats/helmets/etc.)
  19. Wow! they all look fantastic! Your first two buildings posted sort of look like they were once sets from the early days of town series! My favorite though is your Esso station! it looks so retro!
  20. I have seen one of these on Brickshelf some time ago... But you are in luck! I built my own as well, and here is a detailed set of pics: The trike is super fragile at the headlight part where the two sections meet, other than that the front wheels are inserted into faucet bricks and the wheel fits snugly in the little hole. It is fairly straight forward how it is done, anyone have questions or need more pics, just ask. Whole Bike: Close up of the front section: the bike Exploded view so you see the pieces needed: I hope this helps!
  21. Wow! I cant wait to get some of those! Its nice to see you can put them backwards on a minifig!
  22. Here is my Sigfig. It actually looks somewhat like me! Me with my dope Tuner car in the backround: Me showing off my thumpin' Stereo System in the trunk: Me rollin' around in mah Tunerz car! ...and yes, those are glow in the dark parts on my car, headlights made to look angry and under the car there are glow in the dark bars as underglow!!!!
  23. I'll be buying one of these! I dont care that it does not have much play value, I want the giant falcon but do not have the $$$ for it, this will be perfect for a small display piece.
