Baja Truck
Milan replied to Lox Lego's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Frontpaged. -
Hi, You can read a bit of history of the Scale Modelling Forum, and how it evolved, here. In short, the requirements for a model to be posted as Scale Model are: It has to represent a real world counterpart, scaled as closely as possible. Vehicles must be built in minimum scale of around 1:20. Ships, planes does not have minimum scale requirement. It has to be built as advanced Model Team, mainly with bricks, plates and tiles, with high level of details and prime execution. They cannot be purely Technic. Non vehicle MOCs (like scale models of buildings, utensils, figures, animals, etc...) do not belong in this forum. [SMF] prefix can be used in your Scale Model's topic name, for it to be distinguished from the Technic models, but it is not mandatory. You can have only one topic for one moc. No duplicate topics across different themes/areas, please.

Love the first picture. It has that 1950s Chevy COE truck feel, which I like very much. -

[TC22] Road roller
Milan replied to LegoV94's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi @LegoV94 First, I will join the others and say that this is a beautifully looking roller, and I am glad to see one in this contest! We have noted that you have post the pictures of this model in the entry topic with the full diorama and with your Kamaz truck and trailer, as a part of your entry. Unfortunately, that is against the rules, and we have to ask you to post only the pictures of the model itself. You are free to use your discussion topic to show how it would look with additional elements, but for the entry topic, we need to have just the model itself. Otherwise, you would have an unfair advantage, especially with such a beautiful truck and road elements -
@A_C , I have to agree with @Jim on this one. As noted, system bricks are okay here and there to give more detail or to enhance it in some other way, but in this case, your model has too much of it, to be Technic. If someone loves brick built (model team) finish on a model, it is me, but for this contest, we need a Technic model. Therefore, this model will not be listed in the voting topic, sorry. Besides that, thanks for your honesty, and can't wait to see your next build

[MOC] KamAZ-5410

One of the top three nicest Kamaz trucks ever built in Lego. Frontpaged (and moved one picture from the middle of your post to the top, for the frontpage purposes). -

[TC22] Underground dumper
Milan replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hey Jorge, As per rules, we need to have some actual building progress, made with bricks. So, if you have it, please update the first post, and if not, let me know, so I can hide the topic until you make some. Thanks. Edit: solved. Good luck. -
Hello and welcome to Eurobricks. As a newbie you are required to read the rules of the site and to follow them. Spamming is forbidden. You have posted this moc in three different places on EB. Tho of them are hidden now. EB is not a promotional tool for Ideas entries, as stated in the rules. Please familiarize with them so you know how to properly post the Ideas moc. Until then, I have removed your Ideas link. Also, please make sure to understand how to post images on the site (explained in the rules section). EB does not host images. You need to use an external hosting site (Bricksafe, Flickr...or in your case, Ideas) and then post a link(s) to your picture(s) here. @JopieK
