I definitely did not put in that post "I'm a conformist!!" Sorry for the bump but that freaked me out.

Thanks! The legs were a hard thing to design when trying to make them look aesthetically pleasing and yet still hold up the rest of the robot. However I will take on board your comment (if this guy isn't destroyed soon)and make version 2 with better legs.

Exclusive Train 10219 Maersk Train (Exclusive 2011)
______ replied to paul_delahaye's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Would they stack two containers on top of each other? He seems as nervous as I would be to be honest, however the vid was a great little insight to the many details of this set. I want this, yet I also need to invest into a set that includes track. I wish these exclusive sets came with just a simple loop of track, it would only add a bit more money to the set. However it is aimed at people who already have a substantial layout.- 379 replies

Very 2000:A space Odyssey, I love it! The look is very nice, If you added more baseplates sometime then you could create more of the harse Mars environment. I really like the futuristic style, lots of spare white pieces eh? I'm a conformist!!

Evil dude stole it "it was stolen by a cyborg general" Thanks very much for commenting!

Built to protect the inhabitants of a futuristic mega-city. 001-Odin Our strongest... and only protector in a futuristic world controlled by the very things we created. Fatal in the wrong hands, as we found out when it was stolen by a cyborg general of the Mars colonies. Another thing built for protection, that now does the opposite. My latest MOC is this, the 001-Odin. I decided to create a mech (Or giant robot), slightly inspired by the awesome Gundam series just to see if I can make a tall mech, that can actually stand. In the end it could stand, but the legs can't do vast amounts of poses. However here he is! The whole guy, he is pretty big! You can see the big mortar thingy here. The control desk with evil guy and a telescope (it is high up there!) Here you can see the gun, and a closer view of the hands. The posable hands were something I really wanted to integrate into my mech. Thanks for looking, C and C extremely useful as it means I get better!

It can fit easy if you take a few pieces off. I don't mind about that though, I just wanted them to make an actual door into the cabin. I could always make one though. -

Brickbeard's Bounty only has 592 pieces, whereas the Black Pearl has 800 odd, hopefully even though it is smaller than QAR it still has an extra deck like IFS and an actual door into the cabin. Remember most of QAR's pieces are skele heads and bones. -

I think he will have that (In the BP) because why make a new mould? -

Hmm might wait for the BP then As for figs here is my guesstimation Davy Jones Captain Jack Sparrow (possibly covered in Kraken goo or something ) Elizabeth Swan in Man attire Gibbs Now the reason I think Davy Jones is in these sets is a)We already have his hat with the Black Beard minifig b)The BP is the one in Dead Mans Chest c)With most sets kids want someone to fight in it (a goody and baddy) d)An exclusive figure or 'rare' figure would make the set highly sought after -

Heres hoping we either get Kraken arms or Davey Jones within the BP set, even if it is smaller at least it may have a door instead of a gaping hole into the cabin. -
I like table, I just love the sound EN makes on it!

I don't know whether to wait and hope the Black Pearl is bigger or just buy the QAR. Also if the Black Pearl is not in these images then maybe it is an exclusive set? -

I didn't think children were really bought the IFS, I figured the highest margins were AFOLs, thus suggesting that the First Black Pearl will be small and the next will be a UCS version. -

I think QAR has 6 cannons, three on each side, like what people did with BB, put on cannon on each side. So the buyers can decide whether or not they want all cannons on one side or three on each. -

Well I think they will make firstly a small Black Pearl, because we must remember lots of kids wallets would take a long time to save over £100 on one! Then as we are a year or so into the theme we will see a UCS Black Pearl, over £120 odd and just a bit smaller than IFS. Maybe with 6 cannon ports on each side like the QAR, like Harry Potter's Diagon Alley. -

Hoping to get 3 sets upon completion of GCSE's, Captains Cabin, Isla de la Muerta and the QAR! I wonder if the captains cabin set is made so you can fit it in the QAR? Also only one set with Penelope Cruz? Love the new redcoat body and the white stripes on the tricorns, I wonder if the Jack heads are reversible? -

What is the biggest set you could do in a single bag? I've only done small creator sets or impulse sets really but I would love to do a £15 set
-
Ah very nice, I also found out that the current hull I have is too small I made a test and it nearly sunk in the tub! Lucky I grabbed it before any damage was made.
-
Very clever, all I need is another battery box and IR reciever (Used the other ones on my Emerald Night)
-
I think they don't fit, I have tried before, I'd recommend getting the prefab hull and buildng your own extension, think The Imperial Flagship's bow.
-
-Build Minifigs first, always. -Usually can't find a piece and become determined that it wasn't packaged in the set by some sort of accident (this has only ever been true twice) -If they are numbered bags I always do it in the right order -TV or something on background -If the bag contains everything (Essentially impulse sets) I do a build in the bag!

Much appreciated, can you tell me what Power Function pieces you used?
