Should Lego change the way they sell Track ?
______ replied to The Yellow Brick's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I totally agree, but I don't think the curved track sets would make much of a profit for Lego because people only want straights. -
Yeah I have emailed about cross switch points as well.
-
I recently emailed Lego about my concerns of the straight and curved track sets being sold out and also being sold half price, well I got an email back, and it is bad news. "The set 7896 with straight and curved tracks will not be produced in 2011 anymore and indeed followed up with the straight and flexible tracks set." This is followed with "Many customers have contacted us over the last years asking for more flexability as most larger train layouts needed more straight, and less curved tracks. We have not heard many complaints about the flexcible track pieces but if they prove to be less suitable in the eyes of our consumers we will take this feedback onboard for the next train track sets." I was surprised that no one has complained about flexi-track, I have certainly heard terrible tales of it locking gears and in summary, it just looks terrible. However it looks like we might have to deal with it unless they don't sell well enough.

I thought of that before but I don't have 20 or so nets to use it

I don't know if someone has said this but they have cancelled the game with the Spanish sailors in.( It wasn't based on movies anyway) -
Yeah I did use this head , he looks so evil doesn't he?
-
You mentioned it locking, this should help. P.S there are tons of other articles on how to fix Emerald Night problems

Extremely good mod, I would suggest getting rid of the second cabin or make it closer to the center.

Added new pictures to the first post.

[pid][/pid] 103a Hello all Lego pirate fans! I bring you my latest ship, the seventeen cannon treasure ship of the Spanish Armada! It may be quite inaccurate, well it is Lego! All the sails are custom made with string and use my sewing skills!()This is my most ambitious rigging i've used to date. Sunset at the Lego Spanish main. I made the deck have different shades of brown for accuracy. So that is my new ship, C+C is very welcome! EDIT:New pictures

New one is so much better, old one is probably better for parts like shot-gun and tan pieces. -

I think the QAR will be really cool actually, afterall it is estimated to be £110, knowing licensed themes that means it is worth around £90-95. That means it is no Durmstrang Ship right? After all, who doesn't want a LEGO pirate ship populated with pirates and a Blackbeard minifigure? -
That is so amazing! I would love to an all out war with them, with landscape and everything. Congrats

To answer Gondortoast's question (nice username by the way) I think a nice brown and tan colourscheme will go down well, as bright coloured coaches may deter from the MOC itself. Like the Emerald Night carriages. As for my question, Can you use the 8881 battery box on the Emerald night and still have lights,xl motor and an IR receiver?

I stopped getting LEGO star wars for a few reasons, it is way too pricey and as a TFOL, I don't have an immense income. Secondly they seem to keep rehashing old sets and/or making sets based on things you hardly see in the movies. And I also don't like the clone wars sets, sure the RGS was good and some other classic vehicles, but the heads with those big anime eyes are . Yet I must stress, the worst thing is definitely the fact that I just want to see a new theme that will go on as long as LEGO star wars, and I want this long lasting theme to not be a movie based theme. Isn't LEGO about imagination?

This is probably a sign that the Black Pearl will hopefully be a UCS set like imperial flagship. You can't do POTC without the black pearl! Also I wonder if we will get some string to hang minifigures on the noose? -

"Escape at sea" I don't know whether Leog would name a set that, what set could it possibly be? Are you sure this source is reliable or not? -
I actually really love it! I want opne milling around a port amongst the bigger ships.
