  1. Signed. Because Pirates are worth it.
  2. Sounds... interesting. I might buy one.
  3. It is possibly to late now don't you think. Although a christmas event would be good.
  4. Seems like a lot of people want pirates back, I hope they listen. I remember last survey I asked for a new Ninja theme, next year we have Ninjago!
  5. Well that was interesting, would you like to see civilian houses with more yellow bricks?, I never knew there was a demand. Anyway I added to make LDD cheaper and bring back classic pirates eventually of course.
  6. That ship is giant! Almost too big. However I love how you take it apart to see into the decks.
  7. Thank you matey!
  8. Can you add the salty seal? http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=45247 Much appreciated
  9. Guess who I voted for...
  10. This looks great! But I need 3 more ships to play it at the moment.
  11. Out of sets I own it would be the imperial flagship (new one) but if I had every pirate set I would say the BSB in terms of ships and Imperial trading post as a close second.
  12. Maybe it is the 2002 version?
  13. I was lucky enough to get this from my next door neighbour yesterday unbuilt! This review certainly does it justice. EDIT:Did you mention that the wheel on the ship actually moves the rudder? Good playability there you know
  14. With the introduction of Armada sets then non POTC fans will buy it as well! It will be nice to see a new bluecoat design as well.
  15. Looks interesting, and yes that is definitely a peg leg.
  16. There are mega crap fans? And they actually have a fanbase?
  17. I am not sure whether they actually still are making them because as you said they are not in the catalogues. Although we'll find out on the 28th so lets just wait and see.
  18. I would take it out and display it with my other ships, also it is LEGO, so you can always put it back together! Just keep the box in such a state you can reseal it.
  19. I heard that it has something to do with zombies, mermaids,Blackbeard, the fountain of youth and Barbossa on an official video. Sorry about bad quality though.
  20. With a little modification you could make a teeny weeny merchant ship like the one from trading post!
  21. I found it out here and a few other websites, and if it is Queen Anne's Revenge don't hang up your coat! We are both Redcoats here.
  22. It will be Queen Anne's Revenge if they make one big set then because that is the ship in the new movie. Anyway they will make all the other ships because Disney is like a giant cow that produces money and they are gonna milk this theme for all they got like the Toy Story sets, also the Pirate fans will buy these sets and Disney fans will, not to mention how famous the Black Pearl is, How can they not make the other ships?
  23. (176C) - Brigantine 6B I have finally decided to create another ship after this Monstrosity- http://tinyurl.com/39y52zk Her name is the Salty Seal, a Brigantine used by pale pirates to sail the seven Lego seas and plunder other ships, why pale pirates? Because of the new theme coming soon I hope you are aware of. I built this whilst halfway through making my Ork stompa (only head to go now), and was surprised that it only took a long week of Lego box diving and shouting god-dammit where is that brick separator!I decided to go for a red and black colour scheme because that was the same colour scheme of the ship I made before this and never got round to posting, I really regret it now but what's done is done eh? . Probably the most remarkable thing about the Seal is the fact it has got nothing to do with salt and it actually hasn't got any seals on board. Although there is two frogs, a cat, a monkey, a parrot and a cow. The ship also hosts two of my own custom swivel guns. Cool! I can make instructions if needed Another cool thing about it is that I have actually made custom sails for it rather than using crappy paper as sails. You may wonder why only one sail is tied up, but that is because of the clever wit and ingenuity of Cap'n Nut-hook, all Lego pirates know that if their sails get shot by cannonfire, muskets or get chewed by monkeys the ship goes considerably slower thus less pillage and plunder can be done by the affected ship until it has new sails, but Cap'n Nut-Hook knows this from seeing Redbeards Runner in action. So he always takes a spare sail with him. What a clever clog! Because we all know that paper gets ripped, or gets marked, so don't do it kids! Lastly but hopefully not least the cabin (and crew). For me I always make the cabin last. Probably most of us here do. But although this picture does it no justice, I will show it anyway . I have made the cabin more angled like the imperial flagship's cabin has the back windows at an angle and made the side windows a bit angled as well, it just gives it a more detailed look. The cabin is a bit sparse at the moment because I just wanted to get these pictures up on eurobricks soon (lazy old me) Anyway onto the crew, we have Cap'n Nut-Hook, my newly assigned sig fig and ruthless captain of The Salty Seal From left to right; Mcgrebber, Pear shaped Iggy, Armless Tad slasher and Keelhaul Steve. Lucas the 2nd, navigator of the salty seal.Lucas the first spontaneously combusted Bloody Maurice Smythe, guy who gets killed first and finally Bob mcangry pants, still a pit miffed at losing his eye, but he did get a rather cool eyepatch I would like to thank the Classic pirates community for posting such amazing inspirations and for all the nice c and c you will hopefully give! P.S some crew members created by one of my brothers because he wanted to(Mainly ones that wear prince of Persia hats )
