  1. @emersondan Thanks, I had it build for a long time, but figured it would fit this build and made the building around it, somewhat inspired by the building found in Akihabara. I made a new vehicle and took a picture from another angle: Nano-shi (δΈƒεΈ‚) - game district And some more pictures of the Taxi: District 7 Taxi
  2. @Alix Thanks for the reply, yeah I also have to rewatch it again sometimes for some inspiration. I think I will create some more vehicles and maybe update the scene, or create an entirely new scene, I will keep the car for sure.
  3. The city of Nano (Nano-shi, δΈƒεΈ‚), also called district-7. The police is just patrolling the streets of the game district: Nano-shi (δΈƒεΈ‚) - game district The district-7 police department, officer Shinjiro and his android partner KeiRo in front of their police car of the Mobile Patrol Force. The police car is inspired by Syd Mead his sketches for Blade runner. District-7 Police Some more pictures of the police car: District-7 Police Car Thanks for looking and let me know what you think (higher resolution pictures on flickr: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmWsKtMo).
  4. Aron the knight has found another dragon to hunt, the 'Horned Dragon Tail'. Little did he know, it is a monster who lures or scares prey with a long tail shaped like a small dragon. The Horned Dragon Tail by Ids, on Flickr Build for the Creating an Atmosphere category Summer Joust 2021. - No photo editing was used, the only light is from 3, 12V lightning bricks and a camera on a tripod. First time building a brick build monster, the monster is somewhat inspired by an angler fish, only using a small dragon like tail instead of a light, let me know what you think. Thanks for looking (can you spot all the animals/monsters?).
  5. Thanks for all the new replies and front paging my build, glad you all like it. Now I just need to use it in some build, I have some ideas, but It will likely take some time.
  6. @LEGO Train 12 Volts Thanks, I tried to add a lot of colour in this MOC and flowers do help in that way. @blackdeathgr Thanks.
  7. Thanks @jtooker, it was really fun building it.
  8. Commander Aht and Kay the ranger are visiting the Ebba monastery on their way to the Black Falcon outpost near the Whispering Woods. They request to stay the night here and ask if they can join for dinner. The monks are just preparing diner, although some have apparently already started eating while others are still working. Build for the Monastery category Summer Joust 2021. Thanks for looking. Ebba monastery - kitchen Ebba monastery - kitchen details Ebba monastery - visitors
  9. Thanks for the comments, @Khorne I get what you mean by the car, maybe it's a tad too modern, I based it on a Mitsubishi PX33 (1934 - 1937). @The Lego Theory It's actually dark brown, but this was the closest I could get to resemble a tripod with it's thin legs.
  10. Thanks for the reply, that was the idea of an Asian/Japanese atmosphere, I tried a couple of roof techniques and the two came on top.
  11. The feeling you get of two different worlds looks really nice, I like the good side the best, although those purple/pink? plant pieces do really add to the scene of the bad side, I didn't know they existed in that color.
  12. Great interior shot, really captures the feeling well. I like the table with the frogs the best.
  13. Deep in the Whispering Woods, you better don’t take a wrong turn, or trying to cross it without a guide. A small Black Falcon patrol finds itself lost in the woods. The translucent purple β€˜Stera’ mushrooms are used in many magic potions, as a natural defense, the spores they produce turn some other types of mushrooms into flesh eating ones. A special kind of tactic is needed to defends against them, unfortunately that is not known to many... Build for the High Fantasy category Summer Joust 2021. The wrong turn by Ids, on Flickr Thanks for watching.
  14. Thanks for the comments. I tried to come up with something original and those jesters fit the bill, especially in a dwarven mine shaft.
  15. Hello, for the Asian category of the Summer Joust competition I made an Inari Shrine. An Inari shrine, located at the edge of the forest, the rice field are nearby as well as the local samurai. Let me know what You think and thanks for watching. I tried to include as much realistic details as possible, such as a correct torii design and foxes (associated with the shrine) to flank the entrance, here are some reference picture of a shrine, torii (red gate) and the city/castle gate:
  16. Great remake, instantly recognizable. I especially like the brick build dragon.
  17. Really nice build, makes me want to build a ship as well, my last medieval/castle boat was never finished. The proportions look also great, not too small or to big and the sail is also very nice, how did you make that sail?
  18. The King has enough of those grumpy dwarves, he has send his funniest jesters down the mine shaft to cheer them up. Although it remains to be seen how successful it is. I also used some 12V (train) lighting for the door and windows in the mine shaft. (Build for the 12x12 vignette category Summer Joust 2021 contest on flickr) It's a mine to behold by Ids, on Flickr Some more detailed pictures: And a shot with a little less light to see the 12V lights:
  19. Thanks for the comments. @Corydoras I was not trying to build Robby the Robot exactly, but that one is certainly inspired by him.
  20. A fighter I build, using some new pieces, let me know what you think: Banshee Fighter by Ids, on Flickr
  21. @Flak Maniak yes, you are correct, I bought a bunch of those via bricks and pieces, the helmet is this one: 49663pb01 The combination gives a nice updated look for the Aquanauts, I think.
  22. Thanks for all the comments. Yes dressed as a Scotsman, I was looking for alternative headgear instead of the top hat, maybe I should build a Scottish castle for him where he keeps his treasure or an Scottish adventure . It was a bit of a pain to get that nice 5 wide design but I like the end result, and the motorcycle was empty without those bags. Thanks, the filmcamera uses this piece: BrickLink - Part 4736 : Lego Minifigure Jet Pack with Stud On Front [Minifigure, Body Wear] - BrickLink Reference Catalog with a paint roller and a couple of extra bricks, was really fun to design it.
  23. Hello, Adventures is one of my favorite themes, a couple of weeks ago I made some reimagined figures: Johnny Thunder, friends and foes by Ids, on Flickr This weekend I also finished a new car for Johnny Thunder, it was quite difficult to use that grill piece (which is 2 wide in a 5 wide bonnet with also 2 wide mudguards on each side). I am quite Happy how it turned out, let me hear what you think: Expedition start! by Ids, on Flickr Expedition start!! by Ids, on Flickr Expedition start!!! by Ids, on Flickr
  24. Hello, I recently made two Aquazone MOCs: Aquanauts - Sea Outrider A small one manned sub to explore and retrieve any crystals before bigger subs are send to investigate an area. Aquanauts - Sea Outrider by Ids, on Flickr Aquasharks - Shark Scout mk2 The second version of the reliable Shark Scout used by the Aquasharks. Aquasharks - Shark Scout mk2 by Ids, on Flickr
  25. What a great looking building, I like the colors and indeed the roof looks very nice for such a large building.
