  1. Let's hope not, this thematic wave 14 is already pretty weak - or at least geared towards one type of audience, another Simpsons wave would be a similar wave targeted to a relatively narrow audience. Well on the bright side this has been one of the cheapest LEGO years in the past decade...
  2. So does that mean all franchises get a level pack?
  3. Well, I'm happy with these. Love Sheldon and Raj, Howard is probably the most difficult to recognize and Penny, well LEGO has a difficult time making recognizable female figs. But all in all, I am quite pleased and cannot wait for the complete set to be revealed!
  4. Grats Touthomme - not my type of thing, but a clever build nonetheless.
  5. Well, in any case I hope there will be something. This year I only bought two LEGO sets: the Detective office and a smaller Pirates set. So far 2015 has been a miserable year LEGO-wise. Don't get me wrong there are some nice sets, but for Castle/medieval fans it has been a quiet year. Good for my wallet though.
  6. Shame. Rather predictable winner, but good lord, when will they finally produce an ideas set that I am willing to buy? Let's hope Big Bang is ok, that's the only one I am considering to buy so far. I guess I am really unrepresentative...
  7. Well, another one/two projects I will not buy… Shame, as this time I was willing to buy six of the nine. I must be really unrepresentative...
  8. Excellent work and very much in tune with the original one!
  9. Category C: #1 #6 #7
  10. Nice build! Plain simple and yet smart! Love the scene, scenery and the 'mud'.
  11. Well, clearly the lotr license is still on - that is great news. And let's hope there will be more than just the three fun packs!
  12. Great review! Just built the set - it is a very clever build and it makes you appreciate the background story. Love the attention to all the interior details and the colours are lovely. To me this is the second best modular so far (after Parisian Restaurant).
  13. They will send you a replacement, quickly and without questions. The costumer service is excellent.
  14. Kind of meh. But that's probably because I'm not really into Monsters themes
  15. Lonely Mountain is a great set though...
  16. @drCogg: Beorn, Galadriel, Azog, Dain, With King, Thorin with crown, Smaug, Mouth of Sauron, Gandalf the White, Saruman, Arwen, Eomer, Theoden,... plenty of excellent printing and new molds in this theme.
  17. Well given that LEGO is not going to make a new mold for an exclusive fig, it was kind of was expectable that it was not going to be a Sauron or Bolg. Old Bilbo or perhaps Thranduil at best. As I said before: it sure looks like a nice torso and given that we expected nothing new, I purely see this one as a bonus.
  18. I agree especially Denethor is very well done. Whose face is it originally?
  19. Well given that I thought it was already over, I am happy for every extra figure we get. Bain himself is not that interesting, but that is one nice torso! So: I'm happy with it. LEt's hope more exclusive figures will follow!
  20. Very evocative little MOC. Love the greenery!
  21. Some excellent entries! Here are my votes! A: #3 #4 B: #2 #4 C: #3 #4
  22. Very good! Love the asymmetry!
  23. King and Goblin look great! The Egyptian warrior is also a must-buy.
  24. Nice box-art, clever builds. Not my cup of tea, but probably of interest to a certain niche of FOLs, and that is exactly what LEGO ideas is for.
