  1. Well, as I type this, I'm in a motel room in coastal Oregon, so I can get in on the action for one night.
  2. Screw a hamburger! We need a Bald Eagle piece! I guess we should have seen this coming, what with the Native American, Cowboy, Statue of Liberty, and Revolutionary Soldier minifigs. America has truly taken over everything Lego-related. :roflmao:
  3. Do we know if the vig would lose their ability upon conversion? Because if not then it's more likely they're dead. Edit: never mind, they would. I'm starting to feel like we're damned if we do and damned if we don't here. If we discuss solid leads openly, we allow the scum to find each other. If we talk in private we risk lynching townies who are trying to disguise themselves as scum, and yet these methods of communication are all we have. I agree with Li'l Hinck, this is frustrating.
  4. He put some work into this, it's true, but not enough work. The non-categorizing of the list seems like he didn't want to single anybody out or draw attention to them, knowing some of them are scum. I guess he didn't want to accuse anyone strongly enough that we'd pay closer attention. Trying to contribute in a Townie-looking way, but not actually giving anything away. Vote: Chromeknight
  5. What's to explain? It looked oddly out of place to me and so I thought I'd bring it up. If Hinck noticed it as well then it's obviously not just me. And I haven't been talking to Hinckley, since you asked.
  6. I'm surprised nobody's brought this up yet, but Li'l TBW's word choice seems odd to me. He says Endgame twice and even capitalizes it in the middle of a sentence. I may be overreacting, but this seems like an inept attempt at a signal to me. Could TBW be trying to hint at the other team that he's scum and Li'l Endgame is his partner?
  7. Even if it was salvageable, would you really want a hat covered in bits of megablocks and... other megablocks-related stuff?
  8. Damn it. Damn it, damn it, damn it. I was certain Pally was scum. And of course we've lost another mayor. One would think by now you'd be able to tell the difference between a pirate hat and a furry hat that's been sitting in the sandbox for three days.
  9. Maybe we could put Scouty's hat in the sandbox. I think his corpse is still around here somewhere.
  10. I'm not sure, really. Maybe it's the fact that we've all just kind of gone along with the idea that there's a lie detector for three days. At this point, I think we're all just taking it as gospel. And so are you, it seems: If you have (or have had) doubts about the status of the lie detector, why wait until now to voice them? Why not pipe up and say something when the lie detector theory was first floated on Day One? You would lose nothing from saying you doubted the existence of the lie detector then, while doing so this far into the process is very inconsistent with what has already been said. It looks like you're ignoring a rather large part of the last three days' worth of discussion just to raise a point of contention (which isn't much of one at that) and make it seem like you're participating. Behaviour like this is precisely why you're on the chopping block today.
  11. Hmm. Perhaps the lie detector has been used, but it uncovered a scum. Maybe the lie detector is afraid to reveal their information in the day thread for fear that the scum will contact each other. I wouldn't rule out the possibility that the lie detector has been used just yet.
  12. Good god, I hope so. Because bandwagons have gotten us so far. Let us hope the town PRs are working hard on some leads. Even if they're not, we need to pick up the conversation in here. Public discussion = good is basic kindergarten stuff.
  13. Due to his aforementioned wishy-washyness, I will Vote: Li'l Palathadric.
  14. Wait... he's still scummy even if you don't think he's scummy? Coming off your vote for Nightshroud, statements like this where you doubt his scumminess seem very noncommittal and wishy-washy. Your posts look sensible on the surface, but I'm having more and more trouble finding any real substance to them. I don't throw this word around often, but you're starting to ping, Li'l Pally. Whoa, where the hell did you come from?
  15. This actually makes a lot of sense. Mayor: Li'l Cecilie
  16. I'm not sure I'd want a mayor who's this frustrated. Perhaps best to give the job to someone who's calmer and actually takes the position seriously. Oh, and is the lie detector still in play? Because I'm still town.
  17. Sonofa... Looking back at some of Li'l Foog's statements at the end of yesterday, I can see how it makes sense that the vig would have targeted him. I agree with Li'l Hinck that he could have been acting as a decoy to draw out the Scum, but went too far in that direction. Li'l Corny would have been the best scum kill; he seemed the most likely one to form a town block and it's possible the scum didn't like that. Hopefully our masons are getting better results at night.
  18. Well, I know that now. And perhaps next time I post a MOC you might see fit to blog it, eh?
  19. Say no more, say no more. Sorry, I had to. As I said, Scouty, the fracas surrounding you can only serve to distract us from here on if we let you stick around. We haven't had any solid leads in two days and we need to focus our energy on finding the real scum, not arguing with a maybe-he-is-maybe-he-isn't scum. This whole debate is dragging us down, and since it can't be resolved, we must cut loose he who is at the centre of this, i.e. you. Oh, and since I forgot to put it in my last post: I am the towniest town who ever towned a town.
  20. We haven't made any significant progress today and I think that's mainly due to the fact that we're all so very confused about Li'l Scouty. If this keeps up much longer, we won't get anywhere. I still don't know if Li'l Scouty is town or scum, but I think the issue is clouding everybody's vision and until we resolve it, I can't see us moving forward a great deal. Therefore, I will Vote: Li'l Scouty (Scouty).
  21. Unfortunately I've had much of my attention divided between my schoolwork (in-game and otherwise) and the debacle surrounding Li'l Scouty, so my scumdar hasn't been properly calibrated today. I have an idea or two but I still need to flesh them out. I'll post more when I'm not on my phone.
  22. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Huh. Didn't think that would work on my phone.
  23. Thing is he didn't reveal his gambit until his fate was effectively sealed, so he must have known there was a chance he'd die. It would have been stupid to take that risk if he couldn't pass on any info he might have gained to someone somehow.
  24. I would definitely encourage Li'l Scouty to answer his accusers. His outburst was not consistent with what I have come to expect from him and that worries me deeply. I know it sounds metagamey, but his abnormal behaviour is screaming at me that something is afoot.
  25. It's a shame we had to lose Li'l TrumpetKing so early. Do we know if he learned anything useful before his death? Good thing we did get a Scum, though. Kudos to whichever side got to Li'l Danny! I'm not going to let you have all the fun. Hey, Peanuts! Your mistake yesterday really bold me over!
