Ragnarök Now - Day Six
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Again, if Carl has misinterpreted this nonsense in any way, he genuinely apologizes. The fact is, it isn't easy to follow. What kind of Valhalla is it where a man is persecuted for mishearing something? Don't give Carl grief because he can't understand what the hell you're talking about, and don't expect to get anywhere in this afterlife talking to people like that. Carl refers you once again to his previous statement: Verily, get stuffed, sweetheart. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Six
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Actually, that's a good point, assuming he's town, which he's not. However, assuming the third scum team does exist, and Dragmall isn't one of them, it's the same damn outcome either way. Apologies. Carl must have misinterpreted your bizarre theory somewhere along the way. You do seem rather sure of the second team's existence. Surely you must be open to the idea that Dragmall is not one of them. You claim there's still five scum on the secret team. There's 11 people here. Tomorrow there will be ten. By your own logic, either A) We lynch Petrus, Petrus is Town, Scum win. B) We lynch Dragmall, Dragmall is Town, Scum win. C) We lynch Petrus, Petrus is Scum, Dragmall's Scum team still exists, Scum win. D) We lynch Dragmall, Dragmall is Scum, four scum left to kill off the power roles, with possibility of a conversion. Scum win. The way Carl understands it, your own logic is telling us there's no way out. Might as well have some fun, then. Again, apologies if this is incorrect, but Carl is starting to get a splitting headache from all this. Talking to yourself, eh? Seriously, Snotra, Carl does hope you will learn from this. Pretty much all you've done so far is attack people of both alignments for the mildest of infractions, real or otherwise. You've made no discernible effort to truly help us, you've tried to blackmail people into telling you what they know, you've made some very frenetic and off-the-wall accusations, and you've been very aggressive and antagonistic this whole time. Your company is not particularly enjoyable and, looking at how you interact with others, Carl understands why you have not been let into the town block. What honest, Tohstre-fearing Townie would want to put up with this? If Carl weren't so sure of Petrus, Carl would be willing to lynch you just to silence you for good. -

Sorry I'm late, all! Anyway, here's an interesting MOC of Tia Dalma's shack from PotC: Dead Man's Chest: http://www.flickr.com/photos/55084317@N08/6789385036/- 55 replies

Ragnarök Now - Day Six
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If we lynch Petrus and he is innocent, we lynch Dragmall tomorrow. Simple, mais non? Either way, the rest of the second scum team ( Carl can't say that with a straight face) would still exist, and, by your logic, we'd then be screwed either way. As long as we're supposedly throwing good money after bad, Carl's fine with sticking to his previous vote. And furthermore: :iamded_lol: -
Ragnarök Now - Day Six
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry Carl is late. Here we go: Night 1: Watched Sveinn. Successful, but Sveinn was not targeted. Night 2: Watched Dragmall. Successful. Dragmall targeted by Sveinn and Canute. By passing this info to Dragmall, was able to clear both parties. Night 3: Watched Dragmall again, figuring he must be a power player. Successful. Dragmall targeted by Beorn. Beorn claimed rolecop. Early conversations indicated this was true. Possibility that Beorn was converted? Night Four: Watched Sveinn, on advice of Dragmall. Sveinn targeted by none. Began to wonder if Carl might have entered a WIFOM. Night Five: Watched Dragmall again, as a test of Sveinn and Cranebeinn. Both verified. Granted, Carl has favoured Dragmall these past few days, but he has helped Carl to cross people off Carl'd list (and vice versa). With that out of the way: Vote: Petrus Fire-Starter (Pandora) -

Ragnarök Now - Day Five
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry Carl "wandered off", he's been discussing things with people in private and running over some of the previous statements in his head, trying to find useful info. Carl seconds this. Cranebeinn's defence is somewhat reassuring, and we would do well to remember that the einherjar-iest of einherjar are still capable of saying very stupid things. (On an unrelated note, alas, poor Bergulf, we hardly knew ye. ) -
Official LEGOLAND Pirates - Stop Motion Video 1989
Capt. Redblade replied to moschino's topic in LEGO Pirates
What? No, I'm not crying, I just have something in my eye is all. Whenever I see something like this, it makes me lament missing out on those simpler days of LEGO. I try to compensate by Bricklinking the Classic Pirates sets, but it's not the same. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Capt. Redblade replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
This. Personally, I'm a DC fan, but I can still get behind the broader points of this post. What we have with Superheroes is something completely new. Never before has TLG afforded us such a wonderful opportunity to obtain official figures of some of the best fictional characters out there. From what I can tell, people have been making custom DC and Marvel figs for ages (the earliest one I personally remember seeing was back in... '03, I think), and it genuinely looks like they took notice of the LEGO-superheroes overlap and decided to do something about it. Just the fact that we have these figs (and these new elements that come with the figs) available is absolutely amazing. The Superheroes theme represents the most fun I've had with LEGO in quite a few years, and I pray for a SW-like longevity to this theme. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Five
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Damn, and things were going so well, too. Hopefully we can bounce back from this setback and find the remaining scum. (At least this discourse is more calm than battling. Carl doesn't care much for battling. It hurts. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Four
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Carl's not sure how concrete this is, but have you noticed how Erik doesn't practice what he preaches where voting is concerned? First, on Day Two, he said... ...Makes you think he would be more careful about where he places his votes. Then, he says... Quite soon after, he unvotes, claiming to have misunderstood Snotra's joke. Some hours later... This comes amid the Dragmall-Hervi-Gerrid-Bergulf controversy, when the campaigns against both Gerrid and Bergulf were just starting to gain momentum and so it seems like either vote is a safe choice. Thus, Erik votes and disappears completely, only reappearing once more in the day to say this... By this point, the majority had been reached and set in stone. Erik's last-minute (quite literally, it was the final vote cast that day and came less than three hours before the conclusion went up) vote seems very much like a decision to jump on the bandwagon because he didn't want to be one of those who didn't vote for a scum. Next day, Day Three, he reiterates his case against Bergulf, explains his vote-switch, muddles his accusations, announces his intention to once more vote for Bergulf... and then votes for Hervi. Rather conveniently, this comes at a time when the Hervi-lynch is gaining momentum and looks like the safest bet, and he ends up safely hidden in the middle of the pack. Traditionally, the middle- or tail-end of the lynch mob is where scum like to hide, so, given Erik's habit of watching the voting patterns, shouldn't he have been more careful? Carl is very anxious to hear Erik's explanation, so Carl shall motivate him by voting. Vote: Erik the Boneless (Etzel) -
Ragnarök Now - Day Four
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The momentum had shifted, but not by much. The votes still stood 6 for Gerrid, 4 for Bergulf, 2 for Hervi, and 2 for Dragmall. Besides that, there was the strangely anticlimactic finale to the Hervi-Dragmall feud and Snotra was picking fights with everyone who looked cock-eyed at her. Carl voted for who he voted for amidst the swirling, torrential Hell-in-Valhalla and is smart enough to realize he made the wrong call. And as to where Carl's been helping, he has been meeting with various parties on his own time and watching for useful leads. Just because someone doesn't talk doesn't mean they're not working hard. Carl has a tendency to assume five (at very most, six) scum due to his past experiences. Old habits and all that. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Four
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This is progress. Four scum in three days, but at the price of our investigator? Damn. And now the chances of finding that last scum are growing slimmer; s/he will no doubt try to hide knowing that the rest of his/her teammates have fallen. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Three
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Carl is already starting to trip over all of the strings attached to Hervi. Having read over the conversations held here on this day, things do seem a tad... odd. Vote: Hervi Pudding-Head (Hinckley) Whether or not Hervi is scum, a vote such as this will certainly help us to clear the air around here and make things much easier to comprehend. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Three

Yeah, a statement like that is rather open to interpretation. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Three
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Carl seconds this opinion. He is still wary of Bergulf from Day One and wishes to settle the matter once and for all. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Two
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
He does, but for several things: A) He still believes there would be more gained from a Bergulf-lynch, B) The majority appears to have been reached, so it would be a useless gesture at this point, C) Such an act would have no meaning to Carl besides bandwagoning. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Two
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
By the time Carl cast his vote, at least three more votes had come in for Gerrid. The irony was not lost on Carl. -
Ragnarök Now - Day Two
Capt. Redblade replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
For reasons he has already outlined, Carl will... Vote: Bergulf (badboytje88) Let us hope these personnel conflicts might be resolved in time to reach a conclusion, though Carl doubts it. -

People keep mentioning a design video for Arkham Asylum. I have seen no such video. Am I missing something here?
