  1. I love these. The car, and video camera are particularly excellent.
  2. If what I have read is correct, it has to do with shouldering and firing a rifle. The soldiers who wore this kind of hat would keep the upturned part on the side they use a rifle on.
  3. I disagree. The Viking spear has a flexible rubber tip, the Athlete javelin does not. Locating the spear and feeling for the rubber tip is how I found my Vikings.
  4. Yes, the Viking does indeed have an inner bag. It may help you locate him in the future.
  5. My Walmart had most of a case when I was there the other day. Managed to snag a Pirate Lady, 2 Vikings, and 2 Knights by feel. I really like the new sword that the Knight comes with. It reminds me of Glamdring.
  6. Excellent build. I hope I actually live long enough to see a man land on Mars.
  7. Excellent work! I especially like the variety of different groups and the parts usage.
  8. Oh wow, this is great!
  9. I'm not too impressed by this theme. I do realize that I'm not the target demographic though.
  10. Excellent work! I wish Nexo Knights had turned out half as awesome as the concept art.
  11. Nice work. The circular towers are particularly good.
  12. Thank you guys for the useful product reviews. I may just end up sending some dough to Koruit.
  13. Better than nothing I guess. I still want a full return of the Castle theme. Preferably a continuation of the Fantasy Castle line.
  14. The Viking's helmet and beard are definitely separate molds. No worries there, and I may just have to put together an Eowyn minifig for myself.
  15. I really love your custom Elf army work, and would love to see you do the same caliber of work on other LEGO fantasy armies like Dwarves, Orcs, Humans, etc.
  16. I've resorted to doing just that many times over the last decade plus. As for the the whole grasping a sword with two hands, I just dislocate the off arm from it's socket. Seems to work pretty well, but isn't strictly legal from a purist perspective.
  17. My problem with many of the official LEGO accessories for minifigs is that they could be great with just a minor tweak or two. I'd like to see a custom accessory house use LEGO pieces as a starting point, then tweaking them to fit their own ideas and visions for what the basic piece is supposed to be. For example, I don't like the official LEGO musket or flintlock pistol pieces because of the blunderbuss muzzle. Kinda hard to do a proper Revolutionary War MOC or put together a proper Solomon Kane minifig with those specific pieces. If a custom house took the basic LEGO designs, removed the blunderbuss muzzles, then elongated the barrels, I'd order the resulting piece by the hundreds. Also, I like the LEGO Chrome Greatsword well enough, but I'd love to see a redesign with a longer, pointed blade, and a longer hilt that can be grasped by two minifig hands. That would be another great piece I'd love to be able to purchase.
  18. Well said Wardancer. That is one of the reasons that I rarely purchase third-party custom accessories. I think if some of the companies like BW tried to make their stuff more aesthetically in line with official LEGO accessories, I'd be more likely to invest in them. Brickarms makes high-quality products, but they lack the chunkiness of LEGO accessories, and look out of place in a LEGO minifig's hands.
  19. I LOVE it! I particularly like the Dwarf statue on the pedestal. I would love to see more WHF stuff from you.
  20. Good work. I'd like to see some close-up individual photos of each character if possible.
  21. My suggestions are simple. As a fan of cyberpunk, I'd like to see a bowl of noodles and a bowl of rice, both with a pair of chopsticks sticking out of them. How can I make a proper cyberpunk city scene without a noodle bar? Also, I'd like to see an updated version of the flintlock musket and pistol which would include a longer barrel, and no blunderbuss muzzle. I'd like to build some Revolutionary War stuff, but it's hard with the LEGO accessories. Plus, none of the third party accessory makers have made a satisfactory replacement.
  22. Great work. I'd love to see him with his Lawgiver.
  23. Just outta curiousity, how much was this set when it was first released?
  24. Great job, these are awesome. I never would have thought to use those transparent blue blades for Nemesis Force Weapons. The wrist-mounted stormbolters are cool too
