  1. I love it, GREAT work.
  2. I really hope that we see Elves soon. I think that they would be a worthy modern-day successor to the old Forestmen.
  3. I would like to see a Spartan/Greek theme only if it didn't step on Castle's toes. I think that Wild West will be the next theme to be resurrected though. I will be a happy camper either way.
  4. That is very impressive. I would love to see your Castle armies as well if possible. If not, I understand.
  5. I agree that the musket and pistol need a new version without the bunderbuss muzzle. I hope that TLC helps us out.
  6. I really like this current Pirate theme. I missed out on the original line, and I am making up for it now. I really hope to see some new natives or islanders in this line with the new skin dark skin tones. Death to Peaches! On a side note, am I the only one who HATES the blunderbuss-style muskets and pistols? I really wish that TLC would make some flintock muskets and pistols with the blunderbuss part removed, and longer barrels. That would be a great asset to Revolutionary War, Napoleonic Era MOCers. I usually use a pair of stout scissors to cut the flaired part off the barrel, and then use superglue to attach a piece of matching color lightsaber handle on the end. It wors pretty well when I manage to fit the end together straight and evenly, but I oftern have trouble with that. I also have problems with excess glue drying on the piece and making it look bad.
  7. I like those they are pretty good.
  8. Thanks for the review! This looks like a great little set to buy multiples of. I especially like the alien.
  9. My main hope for an upcoming theme in 2010 is to see elves in Castle. I would love them to have lizardmen as their enemies. This makes sense to me in a couple of ways, first, TLC could recycle the Killer Croc head from the Batman line to make lizzies, and second, every faction has a unique opposing faction. Crown Knights have Undead to fight, Dwarves have Orcs to fight.
  10. Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcomes. My name actually from the name I picked out for myself on my Bricklink account. I made it up about 9 years ago when it sounded "cool", I just recycled it here for ease of remembrance. I would love to go to Brickworld, but I will be out of town. It sounds really awesome though, and I hope to attend next year.
  11. Hi guys, I am a long time lurker, first time poster. I am 27 years old, from Indianapolis Indiana, and have been a LEGO lover since the age of 3. I started out collecting LEGO by theme with the Western line from '96 and I have since collected sets from many themes. My favorites themes in recent years have been, Castle, Indy, to a much lesser extent Star Wars, and a few of the smaller classic castle sets. I am a big fan of LEGO mecha that MOC'ers post on Brickshelf, and MOCpages, and I really like sci-fi subthemes. If you guys follow the Brothers-Brick blog, some of my favorite customizers are Soren Roberts, Daniel Rubin, and Keith Goldman. I really admire these guys work, and hope to one day have that level of skill in custom building. For my own part, I greatly enjoy minifig customization, specifically the making of custom weapons, and accessories for my little soldiers. I also love LEGO wargaming, and am currently in the long and slow-progressing process of making my own set of rules based on a heavily modified amalgam of Warhammer 40k, and D&D. I look forward to being a part of this community, and I love to share my thoughts wth fellow AFOLs.
