good finds. The paramedic set doesnt make a lot of sense since it appears to only contain half a minifig. -
did anyone catch a glimpse of jabba? :-D

im very sorry everyone, but it seemed obvious whos was whos and theoretically my opinion can't affect the anonymity. I would just like to think that the distinguished members of our board dont have petty biases that are so strong as to affect the results, which is what is being suggested by the use of anonymity. I certainly dont have them.

sure thing chief. But i knew who you voted for, because I saw the first vote and so doe anyone else who may have glanced at it. edit: Yes im very sorry, but it seemed obvious whos was whos and theoretically my opinion can't affect the anonymity. which is also why you shouldnt've said that you voted for sinner. Besides i voted for you, and this is how you repay me? X-D But in all seriousness i have a right to guess at it. I also think anonymity is unecessary, its good for psychological tests but this is a fun contest and i think the best moc wins in the end.

I had to go with moc 2, it's beautiful. I especially like the fighter craft. Moc 1 is neat but i dont think it took advantage of the different themes like moc 2. Edit by Starwars4J: Keep the voting to the MOCs only, okay? We're trying to keep whose is whose under wraps, so please refrain from guesses until after the poll is closed

well this vig is too controversial to avoid such digressions completely I think we were trying to avoid a debate here and were doing a good job.

yeah but that one doesnt portray his stupidity very well. :-P Great sir nadroj! I actually thought the minature plane was supposed to be like a toy making a sort of farce out of war. Sir Nadroj, I hope youll be happy to know i now have nothing but the utmost respect for Dr. Paul and his plans to end this war.

Is the 4 way cross connector thing compatible? I cant find a pic right now sorry.

Looks good doug, your improving. I especially like the missiles that fold out! I wouldnt whine, i once had an moc of a colonial type submarine that recieved only 1 reply. :-/

Hinkley! I cant help but sense there was an ulterior motive behind the creation of this topic. :-D *cough* Gingerbeer */cough* Now im tired of these damn wood chucks so I'm going to explain why i find nothing wrong with the classic "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood." The statement simply entertains the idea of a woodchuck chucking wood and asks how much wood he would be able to chuck if he had such chucking abilities. Now i'm no edumathematational type but I dont see the problem. I also dont know why we're talking about the woodchucks chucking eachother. When did they start doing that? did i miss the memo? As long as we're solving life's great mysteries; what i find more challenging is determining whether the saying is "I could care less" or "I couldn't care less" which has been known to devide nations against themselves. If i might try to clear this up as breifly as possible. The way i see it is if you couldn't care less then all you could do is care more and there is no limit to how much more you could care. Heck you could appear to have devoted your entire life to whatever it is your trying to express you do not care about at all. You'd look like an idiot, right? Especially if you were to say this to your mother-inlaw at thanksgiving dinner while you were drunk. Conversely if you could care less, you could still care more, but you dont necessarily. At this point you can be nuetral and you thus have no strong opinion on the matter which is the definition of not caring. Let us also look at the options "i couldn't care more." and "I could care more." "I couldn't care more.": Well again you could be at any point on the spectrum of caring and you could only be motivated at this point to care less as you couldn't care any more than you do right now. There is also "I could care more." Well, 'I could care more' and 'I could care less' represent a more or less equal level of caring. Of course, if you truly want to appear to care as little as possible, you simply dont mention that you dont care. If you find the topic trivial, then surely you must find the fact that you dont care at all irelevant as well. If your being pestered on a matter you dont care about, you say "you're pestering me! If you dont leave me alone imediately i'll whack you." Ok on to the next item: What i find really challenging is determining whether or not god exists but we won't get in to that. I have to wonder what our Chuck would have to say about woodchucks chucking things. He'd probably say the woodchucks suffer from FBS. :-D Should a woodchuck chuck woodchucks and wood, would chuck be chucked by the woodchucks or chuck wood at the woodchucks if they could chuck woodchucks chuck or wood? Whats the chance chuck would be chucked by the wood or even by woodchucks who hadnt evolved to the point where they could chuck would or chuck? These are the important questions.

Bricklink Trusted Sellers list
john cleese replied to Dragonator's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
we have the straight shooters list too hinkley. Its almost the same thing but the straight shooters list is for members of EB or am i mistaken? Anyway good topic. Sometimes I'll complete a huge order but won't actually place it for fear that the seller will send me a load of disocoloured crap. This could be very useful. I would like to say toy brickbrigade isnt as great as it may seem. They sent me some chewed pieces and many discoloureds. I wouldn't say they suck, but they're more impersonal and careless than some other stores. -
Mutant Walrus Post-Apocolyptic Attack at the Dead Oak Tree
john cleese replied to SirNadroj's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hink i know how you can get when someone criticizes moc's featuring you in them. :-P The explanation explains that it is a post apoc moc but if i were to just see a picture with no title or description i would say "What the hell? "Some guys blasting walrus men out of their shoes in the Gobi desert? *wacko* And who the heck is that robin hood guy?" If i were to see Sir Nadroj's wildwest moc under the same conditions I would say "Wait this is the wildwest theme spliced with the new post-apoc non system theme. Holy moley this thing is cool!" While Sir Nadroj has certainly put his own spin on the post-apoc theme, there are certain elements that should be included to give an moc a post-apoc look. Thats all i meant. I think the main thing is that its well built and this is. -
trust me guys were calling them GOOTs. Its funny!

Sir nadroj: I dont know... Man breaking away from his soul or some hippy bull--- like that.. Just kidding Sir Nadroj please tell me you didnt glue the ones that are attached normally. 8-

Mutant Walrus Post-Apocolyptic Attack at the Dead Oak Tree
john cleese replied to SirNadroj's topic in Special LEGO Themes
well I like the walruses but trees are a dime a dozen. Its a good little vig but you could've made something more post-apoc than an oak tree. Maybe you couldve had a scrap car lying around or something... While i agree that post-apoc is oopen for interpretation i find nothing particularly post-apoc here. Dont get me wrong its a good vig though. -
the person above me thinks to seem too much...
