Sorry, Tamna, I know you're tied into a different mythos, but sorcerer De'kra makes me think Orco. All you need to do is learn how to float... P.S. I am sure Nerwen would approve!

and Nagure, what is this tedeebare he keeps calling you? when writing Nerwen's speech I usually say it in my head, but doing so I realised I don't know how to pronounce your character's name!how do you say it? -
Hmm. Why is that?

Thanks. Seems Nerwen is big on balance. Healing and hurting in appropriate measures.

i have nothing against due recompense from those that attack us to prevent us thwarting their evil. I am happy though, to wait until after they have been beaten. It is when rogues put reward above finishing off enemies that it is tiresome. You at least had the courtesy to eliminate your target, others I have battled with did not even do that. -

Child? Thank you for the compliment. As fo the tap, you'll find it was effective enough. Watching Sorrow steal yet more money she sighed And another money-grubbing rogue? Is there no end to them? Turning to Guts, You'll want healing, since you seem to have forgotten which end of the weapon to hold. Nerwen heals Guts. -
I just went the opposite of male- human-rogue.

Since we're dancing, I'll come back for you later missy, if you survive my friend that is. As for you big boots, I'm confused, I would have thought floodgate was watery not earthy. Nerwen attacks Floodgate, mace, back row. -
You did choose male/human/rogue, and as you can see, there are lots of them about. You'll need to work hard to get noticed. Try playing a... Took a level in Jerkass Sarge Jerk with a heart of gold Guts Pirate (type 1 or 2) Atramor Ninja Mikuzi (not male, I know...) Noble fugitive Dyric Rone Loveable rogue Galen Woodward Gentleman thief Thothwick (not human, but did it well) Hmmm... Don't buy the lie. A party ~= a marriage ~= automatic happiness There are plenty of happy unmarried couples and plenty of unhappy married couples. But enjoy the party though! Bah! The only ones worth worrying about are those that call it a pile of LEGO bricks LEGOS.

Turning back to her first opponent, Nerwen says simply, Your turn. Nerwen attacks Emtha, mace, back row. -

To Emtha she said, Witch is it? I'll be back to deal with you later. For now, stare at the pretty lights of the Paladin's guardian as I help deal with your friend. Nerwen attacks Corlo from the front row with her mace. Nerwen is wary of the inquisitor since she felled Guts in one blow. The raider's pride was now surely as dented as his skull. Let me strike first, since if I hit, the mace will make him fragile and easier to hurt. Suggested Battle order Nerwen Sorrow Maurice Guts Guts Naguire Mizuki -

Nerwen strikes Emtha with her mace from the back row. Do you have a plan for stopping that amulet escaping, Raider? -
Brickdoctor.... Roleplaying.... Gah! That's why Docken loot-grabbed the lover's locket, to forstall any such thing. Leo has a girlfriend, she came and dragged him away from the hall, back home to mind the kids instead of playing at being a knight. I think the limit on 'ships is simply the lack of female characters and the over-abundance of MHRs. (male human rogues).

I wonder who the sisterhood they mentioned is. It seems there is more than one faction here. We should check both warehouses whilst we are here, just in case an amulet landed in either. If there is nothing there, the search won't take long. -

Arphus and Boran! Someone leant a lesson about naming NPCs! I am surprised you are worried about being robbed if all you are carrying is hay. Is there a market for stolen hay? Perhaps you have more than hay in that cart. -

Let us not quibble about methods of transport. Likely we have begun travelling already and you have not noticed. I for one am ready to start. The sooner we begin, the sooner Haroka can be stopped. -

I wonder if you were listening. He said that we would need to search for them. Perhaps a better question would be, does he have an item which can point us in the right direction in order to find them? Turning to Byverion she said, And why would the council forbid the summoning of a guardian? No doubt they have good reason to do so. What are the consequences for us in performing such an act? Will we be held to account by them? Are we risking unleashing a greater force than Haroka? -
I think it's a case of the story is canon, but the mechanics aren't. So to avoid confusion the quest hasn't been posted, but those involved are free to speak of it. With up to 18 levels to be gained, there are going to be some powerful heroes by the end of this. Chris could go from 15 to 22 2/3 and Tesni up to 31 2/3, probably the first player to go 30+

Heroica RPG - Quest#52: Tower of Doom
Chromeknight replied to Rumble Strike's topic in The Heroica Archive
In the previous quest, the darkstar had strange effects on our teammates. Our party was myself and Guts, a Naga Mage, a rogue and two orcs. As we neared the end, nearly a year ago now, close to the festival of Centaurus, the effects worsened. The orcs became like dumb brutes, unable to communicate in common, or even in Orc-speak. I was weighed with distractions, it kept me from focusing, the rogue, it drove mad. He started developing a split personality, speaking in different colours, I mean voices. Guts it seduced with the offer of power. I fear that if we are in Miranda too long it will happen again. We must all be on guard and proceed quickly. Anyone falling silent may simply be dragged along. I am sure everyone gets busy over christmas. I don't know how long Rumble is planning for this quest, but I am very keen to keep it moving at a brisk pace. -

It is a shame he was not stopped when newly awoken and weak. In any case Byverion, I will help you, if simply for Vres and Laxadaisi's sakes. Not to mention, the chance to do something that we left undone. Is there any reason to expect the council will object to your taking a hand in this matter? Are you lying to us about anything or hiding facts that will later become vital?
