Nerwen looked at the male human rogue sliding into the seat opposite her. The bandana, the hair, the smirking grin. I remember you Master Gibbon. We defended the palace of Dastan together. My name, if you do not recall, is Nerwen Calmcacil. Nerwen places the heavy sabre on the table between them. The edge of the blade shimmers darkly. It is a shame I cannot use this weapon, it is fine indeed. As for where I came across it, I took it from the hand of Reno Boneparte. You wish to make an offer for it?
-
Nerwen has quested with Boomingham (sort of). The abandoned quest #21 of Sisco's. Nyx was also in that party. Nyx and Nerwen got to spend some time in Dastan together too. But I agree, I want to quest with quite a few people too. Particularly Boomingham, Nyx, Tarn, Arthur and Skrall. And, I'm also building and photographing in preparation for QMing.

Nerwen returns to the hall after a long absence. Looking around she sees a few faces she knows and others he doesn't. Oddly though, Guts' customary is virtually empty. She shrugs to herself and finds a seat by the windows.

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Four
Chromeknight replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It is valuable. My point is that in this game it's not the most valuable information. Either way, your conclusion is based on a false premise. Wasn't happy doing bugger all. I over committed in real life. That's my issue and not an acceptable reason to not be involved in the game. And anyway, what's wrong with thinking "oh, I look scummy" (knowing I'm not scum)"I don't want to get lynched"( and thereby hurt the towns chances of winning this)? You're attributing motive to me. Be polite enough to accept my word when I tell you, that you're wrong in suggesting that was my motive. I never said I had never talked to anyone, I said that I was not part of one of the groups that I could identify in the day threads.- 105 replies

Also, Endgame, You assume I'm scum. Then you conclude I'm hunting for the vig. Surely a better conclusion from your (erroneous) assumption would be that I would hunt for the killer-scum team, since that is the scum aim? Why draw such a piddly conclusion? Perhaps you don't really think I am scum....- 105 replies

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Four

I think you already answered your own question there. I'll freely admit I was floating along in the game some. At the end of day three, my name was being kicked around for being quiet. I thought, that's fair cop, I need to put some work in. Not being a member of any group, I've had little to say because I don't know much. I don't have a power role to find concrete evidence against scum, nor have I been converted by masons or scum. All I could offer was what I could see in the day threads. I never offered it as anything other than that. I intended to spark conversation. My method of presentation sucked a bit, and some have used that to dismsiss what I said out of hand. I've been variously accused of not revealing enough, or revealing so much it must come from being a scum. A mix of unaware and informed? You mean, just like the disconnected townie that all along I've said I am? I did not provide a roadmap. Deliberately so. I know the scum need to find each other, would I be townie if I made it easy for them. As for night shroud, he didn't misinterpret it. He interpreted it correctly. He read it as saying that he is connected to certain people. He looks at his private email chains/write board /whatever and sees that is true. And freaks out, asking for definitive answer, "you calling me scum?". To which I reply, that sounds like a guilty conscience, the exact reaction I was intending to provoke, so sure. I'll stand up and call you scum today. Amazing? Where did I ever promise amazing? I merely said I'd provide something, something to move me out of being a silent townie. (Though Pandy seems to find that impulse suspicious). As I said above, I deliberately didn't label the day thread groupings as scum and not scum in order to provoke a reaction from those with secrets to hide. I succeeded. Question is, are you going look at what I am pointing out? Or just bleat about needing to lynch a scum while voting for a townie?- 105 replies

Thanks Endgame! It's telling that you assume I was hunting for the vigilante. Surely if you want to seriously suggest I'm scum you'd've been better suggesting i was searching for other scums and you (sadly, boohoo) had to disappoint me because "Endgame isn't scum, thanks, go look somewhere else" So, for the dummies, life ambushed me and I could not post my analysis before bed, woke up to undstandable questioning about where it was. Posted as much as I could whilst mobile (including accidentally posting partway through writing). Had to stop writing part way through an alphabetical list, leaving off Redblade, rick, Walter, Zepher. Posted replies a bit later having been flamed for even talking, Maybe I should have just drawn the scum a roadmap, "hey guys, here's the town, here's the other scums you're looking for, here's the game, tanks for playing" Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. An automatic assumption that team red equals scum. Guilty conscience much? Lets test the theory. vote:li'l nightshroud(nightshroud99) See above. I got crushed by time and the end of an alphabetical list got left off. For the record PirateDave reflexive OmFgus, hints darkly about a group of friends who don't trust others, clear now who those friends are(team red) Rick exchange with Pandy metagamey, could indicate conversation behind scenes. Walter indicates conversations going behind, but not seemingly aligned with CMP/Nuts, grouping uncertain, but not red. Zepher not conversed much with Pandy, likely talking in other media, team blue These groupings are based on day thread observations, counting how people quote (or not) others. The analysis is based on the general observation that scum rarely speak directly to each other, tending to use the whiteboard/pm chain/whatever.- 105 replies

Yeah. Confused. I am so glad you voted for me to help clear my head. Once more for the dummies. The teams are not labeled scum / town because I don't know for certain. I am not listed on either team because haven't consistently supported one group of people and attacked another. The groupings are observations from the day threads. If you think I'm wrong, by all means point out specific issues with my breakdown. Or propose counter theories.... Or do something townish, go on.- 105 replies

Team red, team elephant, A-team, super friends,... It's a label. I carefully did not say which I thought scum and which I thought other scum and which I thought masons. It's all based on my observations and could be wrong anyway. Why have I not jumped into bed with anyone? I'm not sure which grouping is scum. I'm not on any team, but I got a good laugh out of you suggesting I'm a recruiter with LBW and Game. Really. I laughed out loud. At church on Easter Sunday. LBW is marked unaligned because I have no trucking clue what he thinks. A self confessed sheepy lurker. I couldn't pin him down. As for Endgame being on my team, you think he's pulked out our PMs as some kind of bussing play? In this kind of game?- 105 replies

I'll admit, this game hasn't grabbed me in the same way as previous games and I've let other stuff distract me. No excuse I know, and it'd be shame and reproach to me if town did not win because I didn't use what I've got properly. Now, on with the show. I have, as Endgame has helpfully posted, but admittedly, not much. As I said to EG, this game has been prickly, which is another reason I feel disconnected. As for sharing who else and content, are you kidding? You haven't reached out to me quietly, not even a hello and neither have you share your connections and infos. Fair play guv'. Yup, some good old conversation analysis. Oh gosh, I'm so bad for disappointing you! Bad me! I especially love the claim of bandwagoning coming from you. Alrighty, on to the meat. I read over previous days and looked at who talked to whom (or at them). I apologize for the lack of quotes to follow, I'm unexpectedly mobile, and don't have the analysis I wrote yesterday to hand. To summarize LBW- frustratingly quiet. No apparent grouping. If scum, has been from start. CMP- most often supports hink in thread, moves against quiet players, has some friends (let's call them team red) End - quiet player, no obvious affiliations Hink- not playing his usual game, but has been so from start, now has a group connected to him, team red KDM- wildcard, has tended to draw fire from red, therefore blue. Night- ignored lynch votes, indicates support by team, likely red Pandy- helpful, succinct. Likely team blue Nuts - went from being a lynch target to being trusted, team red Dave- omfgused both times a vote was placed on him, team red More later when home.- 105 replies

Li'l Hink posted as I was writing... mm fluffy! You're just jealous of my smexy hair! Anyway responding to the actual accusations. I vote late because I can. I live in a whole 'nother timezone to you. So far none of the lynches have had hard evidence against them (failed masoning, watched/tracked/blocked, liedetectored etc). So it's always been a judgment call and I've waited to see if solid evidence would pop up late. So you're saying that because I appear townie, I'm scummy? You can do better than that! I wanted to be mayor because frankly I'm feeling left out of this game. There's not a lot going on in my inbox, I'm not privy to any sources of information and, since I'm not scum, I don't have a bunch of poopyheads to talk to either. The lack of substantivity (is that even a word..? substance. yeah) lack of substance is a result of minimal information to process. As I indicated above, three days in and I now have a stab at something. Got more?- 105 replies

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Four
Chromeknight replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It's day four already. And still we haven't seen someone step up an lead town. Why not? Have things gone so badly that there is no solid town core? The masons ought to have been at work behind the scenes. The fact that we've not heard otherwise means (I think) they've been sucesssful in their recruiting. It'd be a (nearly) sure sign if they tried to recruit someone and it didn't work, that that person was scum. Equally the lie-detector should have added another to that group, since, by the same logic, if they'd found a scum, surely we'd've heard about it. At what point do we assume that the scum have found each other by now and just lay out everything on the table? I have just about finished an analysis of who is talking to who in thread and who supports and votes for and against others. But It's almost home time for me, I'm going to help my daddy press some wild flowers and I will post in about 6 hours my results. If various factions want ot dissuade me from doing so out of fear of giving away too much, that's how long you've got.- 105 replies

Thank you for the comment on how I come to school Dave. Remember I live with kangaroos and look here first thing when I wake up, (because I love you guys so much!) but often don't comment because I'm processing info and waking up. Them I do all my morning stuff and ride on the us, then I'm here. But you just read that as scummy, no worries mate! us ride on the bus- 105 replies

By my count, Li'l pala is well done for. I can't see much new information changing that in the last couple of hours. Still, Li'l piratedave pings harder for me. Though I have nothing more substantial than his reflexive OMFGUS ( which I did see him retroactively attempt to justify). It is a shame to see Scouty go, I will miss his cooking. Now we need a new mayor? Day one was full of how voting for someone without them asking for it was rude. I remember Li'l Hink specifically making that point. Now he drops it on Cec without her stepping forward. Odd. And Li'l Redblade is still doing his parrot impression. Sod the lot of you. Heroica RPG - Quest #58: Brothers-in-Arms

My Lady, thank you for your words. I can see that you have much to weigh and consider, we shall leave you to your work. Thanks Sandy! -
I'm not Sandy, but I don't know if this is something that needs to be ruled on. We have characters from all over the place and not all speak common or basic or standard whatever you want to call the fantasy English language substitute (heck, there's lots of players that don't speak English as a first language. Some even speak American  ). Expecting grammatical consistency is possibly a bit of a stretch.
