I've played secret h*lt*r and enjoyed it. It'll be interesting to see how the game transitions to forum. I'd have thought there'd be no pming between players, but I realise that'd be impossible to police. I'll happily play if you're after Guinea pigs with odd timezones. Otherwise I'll just cheer the town on!

Heroica RPG - Quest #150: A Moment of Silence

Nerwen heals Thalion, Daske, Aazy and Olmstyr and heals Vinyenne as well. She hands a Etherial essence to the other heroes and picks up the voluge for herself. Speaking to Vinyenne she says My last visit to your country, chasing the witch, Baba, did not go well. Perhaps I might visit again meet your people properly, with happier outcome. -

Vindicator Boomingham is the best fit for the voluge, but his weapon is already higher power. So it's not obvious who gets it. If anyone does want it, speak up. Otherwise, I can take it. I can use axes and it is better power wise, I just can't trigger its ability. What do Taravalk and Kaarstal do tonight? Where are the attempts in them likely to come? -

Speaking to Vinyenne, Nerwen says, What are the consequences for Baltarok if the clans do not ratify the treaty your niece has negotiated? -

Sorry. Work stuff. Should be clear for a while now What oath is Boomingham using. How do oaths activate for Vindicators? Did I need to specify which Olmstyr was using? Battle order -

Understanding blooms like dawn. This is about Bastala's mother isn't it? Well, if you'd rather take your chance out there than stay safe in here... Thalion. That archer looks like he could any of us out with single shots. Let's seal and deal with him, you and I. Skrall, Boomingham, stay on the other spirits perhaps, with Tra-Serral's help. Her chi energy may be able to quickly disrupt them. Then Olmstyrvand Daske can help Grisnod with his love life. -

Fear not friend Skrall. I will stand beside you and the Vauno, but he is being held for a reason. I want to know what that reason is. Is he the architect of the assassination plots and when the dust settles will be the only clan leader standing? Fired with the desire for vengeance and the whole of Baltarok clamouring for blood he would lead them to endless war? Or. Is he, yet again, a pawn in someone else's game? Will his voice, as he addresses the crowd, tonight trigger a clutch of radicals to detonate the fire magics inscribed onto their bodies, ripping the crowd apart. So, one of the other clan leaders counts this the only way to stop such horror? Why is he being held, what are the consequences to his being released? They were severe last time and the choice of venue here means his true captor has a good eye for history and theatre, shouldn't we expect terrible consequences again? -

Releasing you once caused the deaths of Generals Mint and Hamilton and the sacking of the very city we stand in. It led, in part, to the battle on the bridge and the breaking of many friendships that day. Until it is clear you must be released to prevent greater harm all we are doing is salving your pride and lust for a fight with one who has sworn not to harm. Will you wear the consequences of your action? Will you pay the price that may be demanded? In your own blood if needed? Would you rather be dead than patient? -

Nerwen settled the cloak that Thalion had lent her before the feast around her shoulders. Clearly it had to be just right to work. So if it is not yours to decide, let us proceed to the one who does decide. If we have your word that you will not kill him nor hand him over to anyone who will, then his life is secure, even if his pride is not. -

Not an orc. And alone. Nerwen says as an aside to Daske. She nods in greeting to the armoured figure Stars shine on our meeting, Vinyenne. As polite guests in their city, we will speak a language the glamhoth can understand also. I have heard your name, and your assumptions are correct. Though the fact that we are speaking suggests you are open to discussion regarding Clan Leader Grishnod's fate. Would you care to name your price? Nerwen swaps her etherial cloak for the cloak of espionage. -

If he thinks he can take eight of us, but can only take seven, that's still not fun for most of us. Nerwen replies dryly. -

Hearing everyone check in, Nerwen nods. Let's go. Adding to Boomingham, I hope there are lots of them. A villain that surrounds himself with mooks does so to protect himself. He fears open combat. A villain alone is very dangerous. He has no fear, thinking he can take any number of foes. -

Speaking to the assassin she says There'd be no need for us to kill you. We'd only need to make it known you skipped out on killing Gor, there'd be a price on your head faster than you can blink. But we don't have to do that. We can give you your shot at Gor. Straight up. Fair fight. One blade each. If you're as good as you seem to think, you'll have no problem. And just before we let you in the circle with him, you give us the pointer to who's got Grishnod and where they're hiding him. -

Nerwen speaks quietly to Olmstyr. Do you still practice trial by combat? If so, perhaps we might offer this fellow his shot at Gor. I'd imagine Gor does not have the rank of General as a courtesy, and at a trail, he would not have endless tricks up his sleeve. We need to find Grishnod, so we need to offer him something. -

Speaking quietly to Boomingham, remembering the question he asked before, she says You know that girl, Avery, I mentioned before, she was an assassin of the red death. They're powered by some kind of blood magic, and if you find one, you or they die. Usually messily. Makes it much harder to interrogate them. -

Nerwen moves to the bar that Tra Serral had just vacated, G2. She speaks to the serving girl. You said you were in Eubric? Where abouts? Did you ever come across anyone from Heroica? Speaking to the red lizard soldier she says Storm Drakes you say? Why would you think I hadn't heard of them? Olmstyr moves to B9 to help Thalion detain Grishnod. -

Speaking to Morkantus she says. Im sorry. You sound like you were here with General Hamilton? I was told the heroes helping the orcs left no kingdom man alive. And you did say you'd been with His Majesty since he got back from his captivity? Wasn't that more than a year ago? -
