No, I don't work in ldd but I'll try and take some detail/breakdown shots. There's no SNOT work above the train base and the only halfstud offset is the ends for the doors (which don't open).
-
I just posted some Durango and Silverton cars here. Feel free to ask about any of the details. For me, the key pieces were the old style square windows and the grooved bricks to suggest woodwork.

Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge RailRoad stock
Chromeknight replied to Chromeknight's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Gcarstensen has built one, using technic pieces as the counter weights, see And yes, I got the class number wrong, they're K-36s (not 28 :-) or 38s) D&SNG operates four of them, I'd be happy with one. -
Nerwen feels the gold sunburst on her chest vibrate. She unpins it and holds it in her hand, concentrating. She hears list of the current members and votes in her mind. Still holding the pin she replies. I have seen Eric's loyalty to the Bonapartes. No doubt his loyalty to the Hinkwells and Ziegfrieds is as strong. Six votes for Boomingham. Let him lead if he wants it. With that done, she returns the pin to its place and concentrates again on her quest.

Heroica RPG- Quest #144: The Pen is Mightier than the Sword
Chromeknight replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
Nerwen slips on her counterstrike gloves then nods to Ellaria. -
I've put together some rolling stock based on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad in Colorado. I've got 6 cars in yellow built, plus a brown box car and an car in red (bright red rather than the prototypical dark red/reddish brown). Here's a shot of three of them. Clicking it will take you to flickr with individual shots of the cars. They're lettered, although the match with bright yellow isn't great and the text could stand to be twice as big. I've got a Emerald Night in Black and grey as a stand in for the K-38 Mikados they run, that's this year's project to build, along with some larger scenery. You can see some test pieces the cars are sitting on.

Thank you, yes, I know that. The question is, are those posts going to count, even though those who posted them posted them with an "after 130" tag? Sandy seems to have counted some of them. Does that me we can react to them without screwing up continuity?
-
The King of Eubric stuff finishes at the end of the month right? As in a couple of days? Zeph (and khorne's) posts are tagged after Q130. But I'm guessing 130 won't be out by then? What will happen to those (and the posts following) voting for them?

Do we have a party leader? If so, let's begin. -

I too am unfamiliar with your work Ernesto and would appreciate a short list of your major works as a guide to what we might encounter -
Heroica RPG- Quest #144: The Pen is Mightier than the Sword
Chromeknight replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
Elen sila lumenn omentilmo Ernesto. I am Nerwen Calmcacil Stats fine To Skrall she says, I have seen first hand uprisings, revolutions, invasions and civil wars. Do you know who is hurt? Those without power and weath. Do you know who thrives? Those who already have power and wealth. Rapid violent change will not benefit the downtrodden or disenfranchised. Will Lorcan do a good job? Who knows? I think so. But I do know this. If power is going to be concentrated Niro the hands of a single edan[, he may have a short life. Best choose someone... disposable. -
Yes, we were both there at the end. I had forgotten that, remembering only those that I'd traveled there with, none of whom are still with us. And yes, what choice was there for me but the alliance. Lorcan is the only person who has support at the moment, I expect he will represent them. Yes, I know more than that has gone down, but it's all tagged post 130, which isn't out yet.

Spotting the golden sunburst pin on Namyrra, nerwen steps over to her as she addresses a large ogre sporting an onyx wolf head pin. You must be Skrall, I don't believe we've met. I am Nerwen. I see you've both chosen a side.
-
Returning to the hall in the evening, Nerwen swings by the quest board and signs up for quests #144 and #145.
-
I see these growl past regularly. Very recognisable. All that's missing is the big white loco number on the side! My suggestion is don't worry about adding more motors until you have too many carriages to pull well because of weight or drag through curves.

Nerwen nods at the Mage who enters the saloon. Speaking to Pretzel she says You'll have to ask Byblos for the file. It's in the restricted section, labelled with a cat for some inscrutable reason. I ran into an ex-hero on a quest once, that was the first clue that heroica was more complex than I'd thought. Looking down at the small hero she says Hello master halfling, you are new here? I'm Nerwen, elven minstrel.
-
Seeing Pretzel join the conversation Nerwen replies I ask again, what do you mean the state of the hall now? Didn't you read about the consequences of the quest to doomsayers island? Several heroes came back enthralled by a demon and brought civil war to the hall. All those who survived walked away from working for Heroica. That is where a purge ends up. No one is totally innocent nor guilty of everything, you can't draw a neat line saying 'those ones are ok, those ones aren't'
-
Did you vote for him also?
-
Having reached the end of the discussion with Pretzel, Nerwen looks around. Hearing bird-boy mention the Cresent Union she wanders over and casually asks, Guts wants to lead the union? Have you spoken to him about it? Did he say why?
-
Would signing up to the garden quest mean missing the pandemonicon? I know you said it wouldn't start until after, but that'd put me three sandy quests in a row...
-
Some of that was deal with the guidelines for minstrel songs now that they have a per ether cost too. Targets that cannot be affected by the effect of the scroll aren't included in the ether count. Eg. Nerwen sings love serenade, healing the party. Namyrra is at full health, Johon, Pretzel and Thormanil need healing. Love serenade costs 1ether. It costs Nerwen 3 ether to heal the party (not 4). If Nerwen had 2 ether, not 3, Johon and pretzel would be healed but not Thormanil. I.e, runs down battle order. For arc-scrolls, begin at target and the cycle through enemy list.

No worries. This is the Internet, so I'm not sure what you do and don't know. If I've offended you, I'm sorry. I was merely going from what you have written in your signature. If what's there is a mistype rather than honest confusion, that's fine. I was suggesting above that you could be from Kaliphilm if you wanted.
-
Looking at your sig, part of the confusion may be that this is not an rpg for the Historica continuity found in the historic themes forum but had its genesis in the short lived heroica games and has now generated three years of backstory and internal references. It is hard coming to all that lore cold and no one wants to squash creativity or drive away keen new players. The game works best, though, when it's collaborative storytelling. Which means (as flipz the drama student will tell us) means saying yes as much as possible. So can Windus be from a place called Kaliphilm? Sure. Is it identical to the historica Kaliphilm? Nope, but that's ok.

Restored to its glory days? Have you read any of the archives? The hall was never more than it is now. Who would you purge? The faithless, the betrayers? Those who cause quests to fail, suborned by dark powers? The word you are looking for is naked. She stripped you defenceless. And what did you do in that state? Rather than asking for help, letting the minstrel with the healing of music, the necromancer who commands the spirits, the dragoon whose dragon is a mighty mystical beast and the raider with the power of duh, rather than letting them help, letting them know of the danger, even if it cost you your very life in service to them, what did you do while defenceless? You surrendered, naked like a squalling baby. And you think it is others in the hall that tarnish its glory.
