  1. Two fire extinguishers? Woah, how often is this thing supposed to burst into flame? It's cool that you can stash the flags in the back as well.
  2. The way the front edge of the hood juts out over the headlights looks bloody terrible.
  3. Printed elements, like those used in the Mack, would have been best.
  4. Incredible work! This thing is a beast and a half.
  5. You should also add this to the topic about the original mechanism rather than creating a new topic for it.
  6. That's a Creator set. You're in the wrong forum.
  7. A light or dark azure cabin and yellowish orange rear section would look great on this thing. On that note, the actual rear section looks like it's bright green. Could this colour be making a comeback?
  8. Gandalf upgraded from a horse to a truck. Meet Shadowford!
  9. Shame TLG didn't go with this colour scheme, considering the limited use of yellowish orange hitherto.
  10. I haven't criticized this set that much. I made a comment about the stance looking off. That's really it. Sorry '74, but TLG ain't listening...
  11. The review embargo date for this thing is the 16th of July, so we should be seeing good images shortly. Then we'll see if it actually does look like a dog with worms dragging its bum across the carpet...
  12. You've been reading off my wishlist. I envy Jim.
  13. Just saying it's there, that's all. It probably is just the suspension, but it is there.
  14. Oh, for the love of - seriously. If the front AXLE is situated lower than the rear axle, then it'll push the body UP at the front and cause it to tilt BACKWARD. THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING.
  15. It looks like TLG have used shadow to disguise it a little, but I still think the front axle looks lower.
  16. Rotating the image counter-clockwise would make the front axle look even lower. The wireframe image used in the CONTROL+ illustration REALLY accentuates it.
  17. Nope, I've checked the image and there is some slanting going on. Check the top edge of the image and compare it to the rear skirt.
  18. You can see the actual body tilting backwards. It's subtle, but once I noticed it I couldn't unsee it.
  19. Has anyone else noticed that the front axle is quite a bit lower than the rear one? It's most visible on the wireframe image, but the side-on view shows it as well. It looks like a dog with worms dragging its bum across the carpet.
