Beast wars was one series that i had mixed emotions about. I had never really cared for the Transformers turing into animals, but yet when it was on, i couldn't help but watch. I think it was the animation that drew me in. It was one of the first to use computer animation versus cartoons.

Very nice! I'd acctually really like to see some pics of some really police cars around the world. I think it would be preety cool to see the designs, type of cars and how there outfitted (types of police lights and such).

Eragon was ok, but Norbit sucked. Soiguess we have a half chance of the Sims being decent. Well, i just can't see Monopoly working as a movie. Like others have said, wha tplot could you possible have? And he turned down halo??? Makes me even more nervous! 8-| But i guess to be fair, I won't pass judgment intill i at least see a trailer, or find out a plot.

Ya, i agreethat it would fallunder the "dirty Jobs" catagory. Espeacaily since many of the trucks are not in good working order with no heat! Mike Roweprobbly hasn'r covered it since the History Chanel is doing a show on it. Probbly have rights to coving it on TV during the duration of the season.

I didn't see it since i got to the movie late, but a couple buddies said there wasone. It showed a van going though a dark alley, and then it panned to its side, and it had the Jokers face on the side. Then it said "The dark night returns summer 08!" Can't find it on line though.

A new show on the history chanel. Not sure if they get have it in europe or not, but it might be worth checking out. Its a reality show that follows 5 truckers as they deliver supplies via Semi Trucks across the fozen lakes of Yellow Knife Canada to the various mines. Problme is that theres only about a 60 day window that they can drive over the lakes before they melt and have to wait for the next season. All of the equipment and supplies can only be delivered by truck due to there weight and size. These guys are driving in as low as -50 degree weather, and some of there trucks heaters don't work. There doing it cause they can make a years sallary in 2 months. Very good show! Only problem is there's only 2 episodes left for this season. I would have posted about it sooner, but only found out about it a last week myself. My buddy had all the episodes recorded. Ya, knew that it was Blackout the second they showed him pan over the desert. I thought it was a great way to get the movie goin. The fact that his alt mode was a CH-53 that was shot down 3 months prior was a good call with the screen/script writers. Great way to bring him in to the the base.

Its not that i didn'tlike it. I did. Just didn't feel it was worth all the hype. To me,when i see a movie on the big screen thats based on a series/franchise, thenit should beable to bring more to it, or show a differnt light to the series. Just like Transformers did. Un fortuntly, i just didn't see that possible with the Simspons. Wasit funny? Absolutley. Was it what the Simpsons have always been about? Absolutely. Did it bring anything new? Other than some nuity, and marge swearing, no. it didn't. Itwas just funny. Whitch was great. But nothing i haven't seen in a 1/2 episode. :-(

Glad you and your dad were able to enjoy it toeghter. I too went with family and friends, and they enjoyed it just as much as i did. Now for the sequel, what are you asking? What we'd like to see,or story/plot? I think echo has some good sugjestions. Though i'd change Hound from Jeep Wrangler, to a modified Toyota FJ Cruiser. I'd also like to see Inferno as a heavy duty 4x4 fire engine. As for story line,... Well lets see... First off did you see the end credits? Cause during the running of the credits, you saw Star Scream fly off into the stratophere. Clearly the wanted to make it clear that he survied, and that he would play an important part in the sequel. We also don't know what happened to Barricade. He just disapeared after the freeway chase. I heard that he had a fight with prime right after he axed Bonecrusher, but edited it out, cause they wanted him to return as well. Now, correct me if i'm wrong (i'm alittle rusty on my G1), but the decepticons base in G1 was under water right? My guess is that since they dumped the dead decepticons in the drink, this gives a perfect opener for there new base. Also, i'd love to see the Constructicons!! I know that Bonecrusher (and i think Brawl too 8-| ) were Constructicons, but they could be rebuilt (as i doubt thats the last we've seen of Megs). Also, i have to ask, how did you like the opening scene where Blackout transformed? I never said that you insulted anyone. Nor did i insist that you were trying to change anyones opinion. But that fact is that we've been going back and forth for about 4 pages of this thread about what people liked, and didn't like about the movie. You didn't make any new agruments that haven't been already brought up, and i just didn't feel like repeating myself. This is exactly the point that i believe Mutley and others were trying to get across. This was first and formost supposed to be an action flick made to entertain. it did just that. Saying that movies like this only appeal to the ADS, pill-poping sub 17 crowd IS an insulting coment. Just case it doesn't appeal to you is no reason to demeaner the people that enjoyed it, and movies like it. I'm writing the invioce as we speak. :-P Just go into it with an open mind,and remember to have fun! Try not to look into the movie to deeply,and just enjoy it for what it is.
