Yup. I bought mine for $170 plus postage of course from Shop@Home. I hope it will sell for a good good price because that will help me set a value on mine. I still haven't had the chance to build it and line it up next to the GG. If that person gets $300 for it then I might sell mine too to fund Tantive IV or the Fire Brigade. Somehow Market Street don't seem to be in the same class as GG, CC and FB to me and I can live without it.

That's a very cool MOC. I like the Chainsaw bot too and how you created the blood trail. Does the Chainsaw bot hover? Looks like that's what it does because of the lack of legs. Maybe if you put somekind of transparent piece underneath then you can create the hover effect.

Looks like the wishlist for Padme can go on for quite a bit longer because based on the rumours we have of 2010 sets ... its going to be another Padmeless year.

I think the new ARC 170 is much closer to the movie version than the first Lego ARC 170 we got. The engine intakes looks much more closer to the correct scale. Having Fisto in this set is a bit random but then his only other appearance in Lego was random too. I think this will be a great set but how much will it be?

Great MOC. Very funny and I agree that the bystander's expression is priceless in this MOC. Its either the wrong planet or "Are you sure this is the way to the Star Wars convention?"

Great review of an excellent set. Like others I also lament that sets don't come out at this price point anymore. I think I was lucky to pick one of these up MISB 18 months ago for about USD110. Will be great to see the printed stormtrooper legs back at some stage in the future.

When I clicked on that auction spotted by CommanderFox some bells went off saying I seen that set recently. I wasn't stalking you or anything like that. Good luck with the auction. Nice BP. Good explanation for the use of the Chrome Stormtroopers. I suspect if this is a real set then TLC will replace the Chrome with standard Stormtroopers. Even then it will still be a good set because you can really build up a Stormtrooper army ... for those who missed out on the Dropship.

If he says its 70 pieces then let's leave it at that. Its up to the judges whether its 70 pieces or not. Not really up to us. A hut will work but if you want something more "battle" then maybe some medieval style war machines?

Thanks for the pics. Fantastic fine. We finally have something more than words to drool over and discuss. The sets all look great to me and will go onto my wanted list with the exception of the Tri-Droid. As others have said before ... there's nothing really new there so if it is good value then I might get it but I suspect I won't. For me its a shame we didn't get any Cold Assault Trooper. Looks like Lego went with a new mould for Talz rather than CAT. I would have preferred a CAT Rex to Anakin or Obi-wan. Anakin/Obi-Wan probably will be almost identical to a Hoth Han. Having said all that I think all the sets looks really good and gets a from me. The TIE Defender is the most have for me out of that lot.

Very very nice BP. I'll buy multiple if this is a real set. I like the box design and all that. You gone much much further than the others I seen. You even gone so far as have the opposition set to this (the Gammorean). Just an idea ... and sorry if its been said somewhere else but wouldn't it be great if TLC release the winning set as a real set next year or the year after?

I hope I don't seem greedy but how about $115 plus postage. That's less than what I seen it sell for on TM and it will give me a little something extra over what I paid for it. I'm happy to help by sending bits of it to different places if someone wants the minifigures and someone wants the X-wing.

Like many others on this thread I have a couple of sets stockpiled for selling later but now that I decided I want to get either Tantive IV or the Fire Bridage I'm going to have to get rid of those set early. If anyone here is interested then I have the following: 6212 Xwing (2) 7669 Anakin's Jedi Starfighter 7670 Hailfire Droids 7675 AT TE I got some of this year's set stockpiled but I won't offer them since you guys can still get them from the shops and you'll get a better deal there. Hopefully they will be worth more than RRP next year. PM me an offer if you're keen. I'm not looking for the crazy prices that you get on TM but I do want more than their RRP because otherwise what's the point of stockpiling them. If I can get rid of these then I will have the money for one of those sets and I'll probably get the City Advent Calendar too.

Pardon my ignorance but what's a HSD? Lego's shipping prices are pretty steep but I guess that's what us Kiwi have to live with being on the other side of the world.

Very nice MOC. I like the exhaust vents round the back and the detailing. Just wondering if the cannon itself needs to be a bit more bulky for a Heavy Artillery. Maybe break the barrel up with some large pieces rather than its current uniform size down the length.

Nice simple Vig. I bet that smile on the Jester's face won't last once the King gets down.

I hope Lego will continue too. I think at the end of the day the best way to convince Lego to continue with the series is to continue to buy them. As long as the series makes enough money for Lego and they can see it continuing to make enough money then I'm sure it will continue.

Battle of Endor for me. Its got everything in my book ... plenty of excellent minifigures, buildings, vehicles and very playable. ROTJ was also the first SW movie I watched as a kid ... a bit back to front but I wasn't movie ready when the first two movies came out. The ground battle on Endor really stuck in my mind.

Doesn't just happen with Lego. You get things like that happening all the time. As Big Cam suggested you should contact Lego and see if they will give you the discounted price. I find that some retailers are happy to do that ... especially for regular customers.
