Great review of a very nice set. I am going to get this set even tho it is expensive (in NZD terms) and test my paience by leaving it until Xmas day to build.

Thanks for the update ILikePi. That suggests to me that there's one production run and that might be it but that's just my interpretation. I think I better not wait too long before I order.

Its NZD$140 and at today's exchange rate that is USD$100. Expensive but I'll get it anyway because I really like this set. There is a 5 per customer limit on Shop@Home for us Kiwi (maybe for others too). Does that mean either there will be a limited production run or Lego is expecting huge demand?

Thanks rogueang. I don't venture much beyond Star Wars so I didn't realise its not a custom. I'm going to add it to my want list. It reminds me of a Macross Valkyrie torso and that is cool. I'm going to give you one vote for your BP for bringing to my attention this torso.

KnightlyKnight Home One is a Warehouse exclusive (for now) so you should look for it there or on Trademe. The Winter Toy Shop (10199) is now available on Shop@Home and there's a limit of 5 per customer. Not sure who will want 5 but there must be big demands for it if Lego is putting a limit on it.

Very nice BP. The speeder is great but the configuration of the seats can't help but make me think it looks like a tourist bus taking tourist through the jungle ... "And on the right hand side you will see some of our very own 501st troopers slugging it out with the Seppies". Having said all that it is a great BP and I'll definitely buy a number of these to build an army if its a real BP.

Very nice BP and an excellent selection of aliens. I find the mish mash of colours suit a merc BP. Is the Mon Cal toros a custom? Is it suppose to be a Macross Valkyrie. I'll love to have that torso.

Very nice BP. I agree that we can do with more EP3 Clones. The airspeeder is a simple design and very clean.

Very nice BP. The Lagoon Trooper is a good idea. I think it will be better if the Lagoon Trooper is a darker colour since white will probably stand out like a deacon in the water ... not sure if the Trooper will like that.

Very nice BP. I like your customs and the speeder which reminds me of a souped up STAP. You done really well with a limited pool of bricks to choose from.

Um ... WOW. A very dark image but the MOC itself is simply amazing. I really like it.

Clever BP. I like the commando droid in clone armour. Reminds me of that CW episode from season 1 where the Assassin Droid passed off as a clone. The katana is cool too. Good that you try to put some colour on the droids but the whole set is still dull from a colour perspective. All grey.

I think the Lego Exclusive thing only applies to country with Lego brand shops. In countries like NZ where we don't have Lego brand shops then other retailers can get exclusive sets. That's why we see Medieval Market Village and Death Star at Toyworld and AT-OT at Kmart. The more important point is evil_elmo's about Kmart getting burnt on the AT-OT and stop bringing in these exclusives and letting us buy them at a discount or even if no discount then at least not having to pay S@H's shipping price. I really hope they will continue to bring these big exclusive sets in for their Toy Sale. I'll like to see Tantive IV and the Fire Brigade next year if possible.

Very nice. If I can just put my Star Wars fan cap on then this Blacktron I X-wing can easily be a StealthX from Star Wars Expanded Universe.

What's the chance of that happening to Tantive IV? Wouldn't it be nice if Kmart brings in a whole lot for its Toy Sale next year and ends up with too many unsold and drop the price in time for Xmas? That's my hope. On a different tack, anyone seen the Space Police set "Squidman's Pitstop" in NZ yet? I think that's probably the best Space Police set to get because it has almost all the alien minifigures in one set.

Your idea for this BP is a good one and the minifigures are good. The Bantha is probably a good effort given what you got to work with and if we just try to visualise what the Bantha could be without focusing too much on what's actually there then it is ok. Those horns/tusks keep making me think the Bantha is giving the viewer the "fingers". The Bantha really cracks me up the more I look at it. Its funny.

Very nice BP. A great idea and we seen so many great ideas coming out of this BP contest. Will be nice if Lego will take some on board. I like the stalls and the clever use of the sails. All those extra weapons will be handy to have.

Squidman Escape is the small set that I plan to get but what a rip-off!! Lego is advertising it for $12 but Farmers and other places are selling it for $13! Just as well that I'm getting 30% off. I actually want the heads for the Skull Twins in this set Link but its too expensive to buy just to get a couple of heads. Might have to wait for cheap ones to be available on BL.

If it comes down anymore CommanderFox you'll have to comfort yourself with the thought that you got to play with it for a little while now. Back on target - Farmers is having another cardholder night this Thurs and its 30% off toys. I think I might pick up a basic Space Police set just to give me some options with MOC.

Great idea. There's not enough non-battle/conflict oriented Star Wars set. All those alien heads will be great. I like the moisture farmer and his speeder. Not so sure about the black colour scheme since that is not exactly a great desert colour.

Great BP. Excellent selection of minifigures and the hairpiece/helmet off idea is great (reminds me of the Rogue Shadow set). The artillery is really good too. Reminds me of this German WWII artillery piece toy that I had as a kid. I'll buy this.

This is a great BP. I don't have any Gamorreans so I'll definitely buy this. The Speeder also has the right "feel" for a Hutt vehicle. Looking at those Gamorreans makes me think its time Lego update them the same way they updated the Ewoks in the recent Endor set.
